Stayed for a weekend trip as a couple. Very nice boutique hotel in the centre of Antwerp, everything in old town is in walking distance. Connection to a public garage with electric chargers. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms modern and quiet. Will come back.

Our visit to Antwerp was part of a longer trip and the Sapphire was in a good location for walking. The cafe, bar and lounge area was comfortable and relaxing. Our room was good although the white lighting was cheap looking. The bathroom mirror light wasn't working, difficult to get ready to go out. The air con was controlled by the reception and we had to constantly call to have temps adjusted. There was a manual option but almost all the staff were not trained to make this adjustment. It made our stay not comfortable for the 5 star hotel standard we expected.

Super fint hotel, med en dejlig bar hvor man også kunne få let mad. Fin morgenmad med lidt af hvert. Stort og fint værelse med udgang til en lille gård (uden møbler) Rigtig god beliggenhed med direkte opgang fra p-kælder (Q-park Handelsbeurs) Meget centralt beliggende.

Very beautiful building, clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and their dining is focused on plant based sustainability - we are not huge vegetarians, but must say the food was exceptional. Parking was very confusing, but manageable.

The whole of Antwerp seemed to be clogged with roadworks, but the hotel had made brilliant arrangements to minimise this. Their pre arrival communications were very helpful, especially regarding the car park access. Excellent rooms and a good breakfast too.

Always a pleasure to stay here, the staff are wonderful, welcoming and accommodating from the moment you step foot in the hotel. The rooms are a great size and laid out wonderfully with all the amenities you would expect; the bar has a lovely selection and again the staff here truly make the experience! Not our first stay in this lovely hotel and won’t be our last.

Second time staying at Sapphire. The location, service, the decor are all great. It has a small but pretty useful gym too.

We made several complaints about our shower that was flooding the whole bathroom. Nobody fixed it during our 4 nights stay. We were not offered a new room or even a discount The flooding was really bad. The water leaked to the carpet in the room every day, causing a disgusting smell I talked to several people, from reception to housekeeping and maintenance and absolutely nothing was done Furthermore, we were not advised that the street was blocked for maintenance. It was a bad surprise and if we knew it beforehand, we would have selected another hotel

The best hotel we had during our vacation in Belgium! Perfect stay!!! I appreciated the hotel's cleanliness and design. A real five-star hotel!

En tant qu’organisatrice d’événements pour mes CEOs, j’étais venue à Anvers en prospection et suis venue au Sapphire Hôtel car il fait partie des deux seuls hôtels 5* de Anvers. Que de déceptions. Outre le fait que l’hôtel se situe dans une rue actuellement en travaux (j’insiste sur le fait que ce ne soit pas la responsabilité de l’hôtel), dès le franchissement de l’entrée je remarque un tapis d’entrée extrêmement poussiéreux et sale. Soit, c’est un détail. Je pousse donc jusque la réception. L’accueil y est correct, « basique » on va dire, mais pas au niveau d’un hôtel 5*. Nous avions réservé une suite au prix de 495 euros. Le tapis de l’ascenseur je ne préfère pas le mentionner vous l’aurez compris. Et la découverte de la suite. Résumé: elle n’a le nom de suite que pour le nombre de m2. Pour le reste que de déceptions. Meubles basiques, matelas très très creusé, le sol est très usé. Le room service est basique. Les peignoirs sont de mauvaise qualité soyons honnêtes. Néanmoins, je note des employés pour la plupart dédiés notamment au bar où nous avons pu profiter d’un lunch agréable et d’une serveuse aux petits soins. Le bilan de ce séjour est que je ne peux décemment pas proposer cet hôtel pour loger mes CEOs Européens voir même y organiser une journée de travail avec eux. J’avoue être dépitée par cet établissement, ayant pu séjourner à maintes reprises dans des hôtels 5* dans le monde entier et notamment dans ceux du Groupe Marriott dont il en faitpartie.

Zeer centraal, mooie kamers, heel proper! Vriendelijk personeel en lekker ontbijt!

Kamer was prima. Mooie stijl. Hoge plafonds. Groot bed. Matras ondermaats. Prullenbak in badkamer nog vol van vorige gast. Maar 1 badjas en deze was vuil. Dus verzorging door kamerdames heeft wat aandacht nodig.

Althgouh the room and the bathroom were nice , the smells from the drains in the bathroom were not good . Maintenance tried to sort this the first night but we had to move to another room for the last night as they were again pervasive. Otherwise good location

Check in was at 3 pm. We did not get the room until 4 pm as it was not cleaned.

The hotel is truly gorgeous on the outside and inside. The room was very clean and had the most comfortable bed, and the location was pefect for exploring Antwerp as you could easily walk everywhere.

Hotel and rooms very clean. Staff helpful. You can hear dogs barking or loud children from rooms around you so you might want to bring earplugs (pretty much standard in Europe). There is street construction but the hotel put us in a room far away from that noise. Overall a nice place to stay.

The hotel itself was lovely, all the ataff were healpful and friendly. Our room was gorgeous, spacious with plenty of room to put away clothes - which never happens these days! The bed was so comfy. One tiny thing is that the room was quite dim - even with all the lights on, but honestly, that could be my age!! Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options and they catered very well for my partner who is a celiac. We will definitely be back.

Great stay. Didn't use the gym or dine in the hotel. Very close to Grote Market. I'd stay there again. The room was fine - a king bed, great bathroom. Room 223 - not a great view from the window.

Most of the rooms have no view. The King room has a wall in front of the window. The room is very warm and you can’t regulate the temperature yourself. The manager assistant claimed you can but 2 people in the reception confirmed there is a central regulation only and you need to ask. We asked twice to lower temperature from 23 to at least 21 but no luck. The windows only tilt so no fresh air. No available information in the room on how to contact reception. No number on the phone or anywhere.when we asked someone said 1 and the other receptionist said 9. There is. nobody to help with suitcases.

Les photos de la catégorie de la chambre ne correspondaient pas tout à fait à la réalité. Les exemples montraient de grandes fenêtres, des chambres lumineuses. Le personnel a gentiment accepté de me proposer une seconde chambre car la première n’avait qu’un petit velux. Même cette seconde chambre n’avait qu’une fenêtre en hauteur. C’était un peu décevant. Pour le reste, l’hôtel et les chambres sont très jolis et confortables.

Rigtigt godt ophold. Meget central beliggenhed. Hotellet har en høj standard. Morgenmad og service på hotellet var af en høj standard. Vi havde et værelse direkte ud til en bar/pub. Det gav en del støj fra gaden over natten.

Lovely historic property conveniently located for walking around the historical centre. Friendly helpful staff. The rooms are all uniquely decorated. The first room we were shown was rather bland and awkwardly laid out. You had to sidestep around the end of the bed as a fireplace jutted into it and the mantle was shoulder level. We immediately requested a change as too awkward and were given a choice of 3 other rooms in the same category (deluxe double) and all were lovely with a nice spacious layout. The buffet breakfast was very good and definitely one of the best we have had in our travels. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was vegan. There was limited space in the bedroom, about 30 cm between the end of the bed and wall. This was in a king sized room.

3 night stay with adult daughter, staff did not inform at check in that water is routinely turned off at midday briefly, so 2 consecutive days both of us experienced the water stopping midway during showering with shampoo still in our hair. No apology or recognition by the manager of the inconvenience twice

It’s a very nice hotel in a great location near all old town attractions. The front desk staff were highly professional and friendly. They have provided helpful information regarding planning for our two days in Antwerpen. We’re Expedia Platinum members and have been offered a room upgrade and early check in.

Service staff was nice but tried to defer any request to self service like calling a cab and such. Not what I expect from a 5 star hotel.

Ik heb 6 kamers geboekt voor een board meeting. Normaal verblijven we in een ander 5 sterren hotel maar we wilden dit hotel uitproberen. Helaas viel het tegen tov mijn verwachtingen. Allereerst waren alle kamers ijskoud. Verwarming kon aangezet worden maar dan duurt het paar uur voordat het warm is. Er zijn werkzaamheden in de straten. Daar kan het hotel niets aan doen maar als 'geste' naar de gasten hadden ze geregeld dat er voor 6.30 uur geen werkzaamheden zijn. 6.30 uur is voor een normale gast gewoon erg vroeg en bovendien begon men al om 6.20 uur. Leuk die oordopjes maar ik wil niet met oordoppen moeten slapen. Tenslotte viel ook het ontbijt tegen. Kwalitatief is het prima maar geen ei (moest je bestellen begreep ik later), geen vorken (niemand die zich daarom bekommert) en beperkte keuze. Geen 5 ster waardig helaas. Tenslotte 3 keer aangegeven dat ik voor alle kamers de city tax wil betalen maar desondanks bleek het uiteindelijk toch op ieders persoonlijke creditcard te zijn belast. Pluspunt: heerlijk bed

There is a lot of construction happening around the hotel, but the staff and accommodations make up for it. The night manager, was really wonderful, made sure we were able to box our breakfast before making it to our very early train. The rooms are spacious and lovely!

It is an absolutely gorgeous hotel in a great location. The staff spoke excellent English and were very friendly and helpful. I liked that you could put a sign on your door to plant a tree rather than have your room cleaned as an option.

During checkin we were not assigned the type of room that We reserved. We had to wait two hours to be assigned to the right room; just to realize that we got a worst room—ground floor and foul sewer odor coming and leaving. That’s too much ordeal for a guest. Kudos to the very friendly restaurant and cleaning stuff. Some of the front desk stuff are disorganized

Obwohl ein Parkplatz ausgewiesen war konnte dieser nicht (oder nur sehr kompliziert wegen Baustellen) erreicht werden. Wenn wir das gewusst hätten, hätten wir ein anderes Hotel gebucht. Leider wurde man vom Hotel nicht darauf hingewiesen.

Locared 2 blocks from the main shopping street. Walk to the cathredral and main square. Beautiful building and interior. Room was perfect. Breakfast had many choices and in a lovely room.

Hotel staff was very friendly. The restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner. Our room and the hotel was beautiful. We walked to everything we wanted to do. There were many great restaurants close by. Over all a great choice and I would stay there again!

Jag har varit på detta hotellet tidigare och gjorde en omväg på 80 mil för att kunna bo där igen i den fantastiska miljön och fantastiska maten. Den växtbaserade frukosten toppar alla frukostar på alla resor jag någonsin varit på. Och jag har rest mycket och bott på många hotell. Rymliga, fräscha rum med högt i tak och stilfullt modern inredning.

Prachtig hotel op fijne locatie omdat het centrum op loopafstand is. Vriendelijk personeel. Jammer is dat het niet overduidelijk was dat het een plant based hotel is wat betekent dat het ontbijt vegan was. wij misten de boter, kaas en vlees wel degelijk, ontbijt was voornamelijk zoet en als niet zoetekauw is dat wel een domper voor de prijs die je er voor betaald.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast options were good with a nice selection of meats, bread, fruit, cheeses and more. They would offer some table service during breakfast which was a nice touch. The rooms were very nice! Everything felt modern and well maintained. I would have liked a bit more water pressure in the shower, but the bathroom was really nice over all. The bedroom was really nice with a large comfortable bed. The air condition worked really well in the over 30 degrees Celsius weather.

Overall the property was excellent. Parking is too expensive and the plant-based restaurant was not very good. The room was very clean, the staff were excellent and welcoming. Great hotel.

Great 5 stars hotel, very stilish and in a good location. Only one thing that could be better is breakfast, since variety qute low.
