Hotel was very clean and quiet. Rooms were on the larger size and very comfortable and clean. The people were very friendly. This place is in a beautiful part of LA with the hills and a quick 30 mins drive to Malibu and the beaches. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in a great location! The room was very clean, and was very impressive with its tall ceilings and new finishes. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing that would improve it would be if they had a hot tub in the pool area. I would love to stay at this location again.

The only drawback is that they don’t have a hot tub for adults even though there are plenty of places to put one around the pool area. We were looking forward to a relaxing soak after a busy day of hiking.

Nice property. Great for families. Clean. Bar girls could have been friendlier. Only complaint is that the pool was too hot. It was a 90 degree day and the pool was heated almost as hot as a jacuzzi, wasn’t very refreshing for a hot day.

The stay was perfect. The staff was incredibly welcoming and when something was needed they responded so quickly it was shocking how fast. Great job. The pool area needed attention in the evenings and often in the morning was a wreck. Also, by the third day the water was foggy but we did ask for it to be looked at and they responded immediately to our request. The only other negative is that there were so many kids at the pool screaming it was difficult to enjoy it as an adult. Would love to see a no kid time frame of after 8pm and before 11.

If you want a nice and fancy hotel for a great value stay here. Easy 20mins drive to Malibu. Glad to chose this place. Only downside was we smell an Odour once we enter the room. Probably from an earlier guest and the smell seems to linger the 2 days we were there. If you have kids or just want to chill go visit the pool and restaurant. We enjoyed our dinner there accompanied by Jazz/Blues duet band. Overall, very beautiful and pleasant hotel to stay. park for $18/night.

We loved this place and have been here before. This stay was terrible. The room was dirty, sticky floor and horrible smell. The curtain wouldn’t go down and we were on the first floor where people walk by our room. Dog friendly was another story! The dogs near our room were barking all night!! Not a good stay this time!

The only thing I didn’t like was that one of the bed covers had a small blood stain in the corner, but when I mentioned it to the front desk, they immediately changed it, so it wasn’t a big deal. Also, the bathroom sink got clogged but they fixed it right away. Other than that, we liked everything else and would definitely stay there again.

For future self, I suggest requesting a room with better natural light or perhaps a floor plan that optimally positions lighting fixtures. Got bit smaller room than usual, same room type like always, but not in optimized settings , even hallways seem more crowded than usual.

1) The window dark-out cover did not work. It was stuck and could not be moved up or down. Since there were bright lights outside the room was briskly lighted during the night making it impossible to sleep. 2) The room was noisy. Noise was coming from neighboring rooms, the floor as well as the room above until after midnight.

My room is near the lobby on the first floor. Guests passing my room talking loudly and the room can hear clearly! I couldn’t have a good sleep the whole night whenever guests passing my room and talking! Definitely need a good flooring and doors to block the noise.

I liked the hotel except for two things which bothered me. 1. Despite being in a suburban location with plenty of parking space, the hotel charges $18 a night for parking. Other similar hotels provide free parking. 2. The "free" Internet service did not work. I was unable to connect to their server and when I finally did, the service got interrupted. This is a very serious issue for business travelers who depend on reliable Internet service to do their work, including conference calls. I had to use my phone or connect to my phone via a hotspot.

Have stayed here a few times. Staff always great. Wifi terrible and TV options limited. Would I stay again? As a loyal customer for over 10 years, it is a shame the Hotels.com have devalued their rewards program by 80%. So probably not.

After driving eight hours and checking into our room, we just wanted to relax and watch tv. The tv was not working right. I asked for help immediately and was told the engineer had to go home on an emergency. At 9:16 pm the front desk finally offered to switch rooms but we were in bed already and upset. We are seniors and just wanted to relax with the tv. I was promised the GM would contact me at 8am the next morning. He never did. I reported the lack of management, communication and excuses. Never heard from anyone. Just got “the look”. I was born and raised a couple miles away and it was so disappointing to be “blown off”. It’s 10 hours later now and still have not heard from hotel. I can not recommend this hotel. Did I mention I have over a million air miles from traveling? It’s a shame to receive this treatment in my hometown.

Nothing seemed unique about the property. I stayed here to be close to a work event. We did try out the restaurant in the lobby and the staff was absolutely terrible. We were the only ones there and it took them 10 min to give us a menu because they were too busy having a conversation which included cussing audible enough for my 2 year old to hear. We were appalled. The pool and hotel overall was very clean which was a plus. I can see why the rate was what it was. The parking fee was absolutely ridiculous for an unsecure lot it should be I closed for the type of hotel it was and parking availability. The lady who checked us in was warm and inviting. The only other negative was the bed was not comfortable and the air was set to 70 but the room still felt warm. It was nothing special, average at best for a work trip it was fine but I wouldn’t return for leisure or vacation.

The staff at The Cambria were very lovely, attentive, and welcoming. Every interaction we had was very comforting. The rooms were nice and clean, the hotel bar/restaurant was a nice place to have a bite to eat and they made some very nice cocktails. The bartender was very kind and hospitable. We had a great experience and we stayed for 7 nights!

I love this hotel - the location is perfect and beautiful, it feels like an escape from LA, a perfect stay for us when coming from the Bay Area to visit family. When we come it is myself, my husband and our 5 year old, we always feel welcomed and enjoy the pool.The restaurant is delicious and offers perfect portions with fair pricing. We have stayed here 2 times in the past 3 months and have decided this is the only hotel for us when we come to visit our southern CA family! I would always recommend staying here.

This is my second visit and I was still so appreciative of how modern and clean the rooms are. They had a live band play on the patio and they were really good. They also put out blankets as the evening got chilly. It was so nice to sit outside with a glass of Cab under a blanket and listen to good music! The bed was also very comfy. My only”complaint”…. My room faced the parking lot this time and there were a lot of street lights coming through but no blackout curtain.

Easy access to 101 Fwy. Pretty rooms. Pricy breakfast, we went across the street to the gas station for large to-go coffees. It was nice to enjoy the fire pit in the morning and relax. The only snafu we had was minor, but in the elevator and on the TV, they advertise nine dollar margaritas on Tuesday evenings. We went down to enjoy a casual snack and margaritas and they charged us $15. The bartender said sorry they’re $15, not nine dollars. Obviously, we can swing the six dollars but we didn’t appreciate the bait and switch and we called them out on it. The bartender would not budge and we had to speak to someone else about it. They did remove the overcharge eventually. It is also $18 per night to use their parking lot, but you can come and go as you please, it’s not gated. I would not stay here again when in Calabasas, I much prefer the Commons area five minutes down the road where you have access to restaurants and shopping, here you only had three gas stations and a McDonald’s to choose from.

Sunday Brunch was suppose to be from 7-2 as advertised all over the hotel, when we arrived ready ti eat at 10:50 am we were told they that they were closed. Very inconvenient we had to check out and find someone where else to eat before heading home.
