This is an amazing place for the beginner skier or family who wants to participate in winter fun! Tubing, ice skating and skiing lessons as well as their own ski hill! Only downside is the lift on the hill is old and was broken day of arrival (Friday) and then again on Sunday.

Pickleball courts were not finished but in operation. Walls around courts were under construction and could easily cause an accident on court or trying to access courts. Pool area needs maintenance and attention. Saw two accidents while at pool. Lake was unusable due to water bacteria. Very disappointing for our grandkids. Grounds were beautiful staff helpful and our meals and room were fine

We loved our stay here for Memorial Day weekend 2025. Staff were awesome, friendly, and attentive. The property is stunning and there are endless acrivites throughout the day. The indoor and outdoor pool were under renovation during our stay and i am sure once completed will make our future stays even better. Will definitely be back.

Enjoyed the stay. Beautiful location and grounds. Much to do with friendly staff. JB was great at introduction to shot gun. Golf course beautiful and you can’t beat weekday summer senior special. Definitely would stay again.

We stayed on one of the cottages and it was nice. But the main hotel is lovely. Everything is there, you do not have to leave the area if you don't want to or need to. Gift shop, restaurants, activities, lobby sitting area, even things for kids, which we also used as adults. There was even live entertaining one night. Our cottage was within walking distance from the hotel, it offers a certain amount of privacy, got to see some deers so close to our cottage, it was a nice anniversary gift for us. The price was okay; around $1100, we paid half cash and the other with hotels.com gift cards. We stayed October 30th-November 2nd, and seriously thinking about going back again and maybe staying in the main hotel.

The grounds were lovely, and the hotel was charming with a great deal of history, and the beds were very comfortable and rooms clean, unfortunately there was construction being performed that we were not made aware of until after booking and having left for our trip. This information was not provided to us by hotels.com when booking, but rather by the hotel itself after we were on our way with no chance to cancel or change our stay. The service provided by the staff was wonderful and the food is deliciously prepared and presented, my compliments to the chef/chefs and thanks to all the staff members who served us. Only other complaint is that the happy hour provided is pretty poor with not much selection, and the prices are not really what I would consider worthwhile to bother attending. Thank you to the hotel for a nice stay aside from those two things.

Skytop Lodge was a pleasant short vacation. Its a nice clean quiet old world hotel. The activities were very enjoyable. Archery and intro to shotgun were the best. They have different levels of activities and hiking. From easy layback to hardcore. Will definitely come back with my husband.

We had two rooms and a cottage for a quick family vacation. The location and facilities are great. We had a terrific stay and wish we had time to stay longer. The only complaint is that the vent on top of the air conditioner in room M10 had mold on it. It seems that the rooms are aging and need an update soon. The only suggestion is to open the coffee shop earlier or have two people working. There was a long line each day and with one person, service was slow.

The customer service was excellent. They have the most breathtaking views when you venture to the Skytop Lodge Observation Post. The food was delicious and our room was clean and comfortable. Can't wait to come back!

Nice hotel with beautiful grounds . Great activities especially skeet shooting with JP! Room was nice but way too small for our liking. Next time I will get a suite. I had to remind them that it was our 45th anniversary . Little attention was given to that . Restaurant in main lodge was very good

We went for a rendezvous with friends and family and this was where we met in the middle. I've been to Skytop before, but it was ages ago and in the winter so it looked completely different. Everything was top notch with the minor exception that I had requested connecting rooms and upon check-in was told that we had rooms next to each other in a cottage. The cottage has four rooms, and fortunately no one occupied the other two while we were there so we had the place to ourselves, but the rooms in the front of the cottage do connect to the rooms in the back. The rooms in the front are double queens and in the back are kings. We would have preferred that combination but didn't see it when booking and were never asked or informed even though I called the hotel a couple of times ahead of our stay. The website is a bit difficult to understand when booking and the front desk isn't especially helpful. Other than that, the service was wonderful and our stay was glorious.

The Property is gorgeous. The Windsor restaurant was fantastic. The Cabins are small & the bathrooms are even smaller. Our shower tub was slow to drain. You had to slam the door to your room to make it shut. The Lake View restaurant was like a club house bar to the golf course. Personally, I had the Halibut, and it was dry.

Really great place. Nostalgic feel but not dated. The grounds are amazing and immaculate. The staff were wonderful. Only downside was the mattress was a bit too soft for our liking and the bathroom is really small.

Words really can’t describe how amazing this place is. From the beautiful mountain views to the peaceful atmosphere, everything was just perfect. The grounds are stunning, and there’s so much to do—hiking, relaxing by the lake, golf, you name it. The lodge itself is super charming, and the staff was friendly and helpful the whole time. Great food, cozy rooms, and just an all-around relaxing vibe. You honestly have to go and see it for yourself. I can’t recommend Skytop Lodge enough—you won’t be disappointed!

The historical and elegant charm of this resort is what intrigued me about the property. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming! Dined at the Windsor and The Lakeview Inn and the meals were amazing! Also loved all of the valentine themed activities/events that were scheduled all weekend! Outstanding experience!
