Onar Villas Oia - Onar Hotels Collection

Room was ok but buggy. If you get a room for 4, be sure that 4 people are included in the reservation or they will charge you when you arrive. Also, the Camilla suite is on the other side of the road, opposite the caldera so the view wasn’t what we expected.

I cannot say enough good things about Onar Villas. I would most definately recommend a stay here. The room was absolutely lovely and convenient. The view was breath taking. But best of all was the service. The porter was so attentive we were compelled to give him a nice tip. We arrived very late around 1am. He was right there to greet us, take our luggage to the room, escort us and show us where everything was. In the morning he had our breakfast and coffee order ready outside at the umbrella table on time and delicious. He also was there to greet our tour guides and get us into there cars. It was also only a few minutes walk to Oia town center with shops and restaurantes. Such a beautiful stay and experience. Thank you Onar Villas and our wonderful porter!

If you are claustrophobic, tall, or dislike the heat, I do not recommend the Olive suite at all. The bathroom is extremely small, the ceiling is very low. There’s no ventilation. Smells like sewage at all times. The air conditioner does not work! It’s just hot and humid at all times, especially at night. The bedroom has 0 windows, it’s just the non functional AC. One majorly important piece of information that the hotel sneakingly does not disclose while you book or even after you check in is that your next door neighbor has to go through your balcony (where your outdoor table and chairs and jacuzzi are) to get to their room. So basically you are sharing your private space with someone else. I was sitting in the hot tub one day, all of a sudden two people opened the gates and entered. I was shocked! Good points are the workers, they are nice. The place is clean, breakfast is good, and the place has amazing views. Overall definitely not worth the price we paid.
