Dormy Inn Nagano

The onsen is wonderful, as is the breakfast. Also, close to the station but not noisy. Very much recommend.

This is the go-to hotel when I travel Japan. Service, location and facilities are all so good and well thought for guests. ichiban!

Clean room. Free washer but have to pay to dry.

Let’s get real this hotel is not “wonderful” it’s a cheap downmarket motel style room. I’ve travelled around Japan for 5 weeks and this is the first time I would not wear their nightwear as it didn’t seem clean, slippers had been worn before and sanitized (ugh!). No English channels on tv and couldn’t access Netflix or others. No tea or coffee in room although did have kettle. Small room and very old and dated bathroom, didn’t enjoy it at all. Staff were friendly though and short walk from station.

Well located just across the road from the station. Helpful staff, nice rooftop Onsen was very welcome after a long day travelling. Loved the free soba noodle dinner and ice creams after the onsen!
