Best Western Plus Miami Executive Airport Hotel and Suites

Property clean with spacious bedroom. Convenient to be able to get a bar meal up until 9pm. Breakfast was repetitive but we did stay for two weeks! Staff were mixed, some helpful and friendly others cold and disinterested. The pool area was very small, no umbrellas for shade. Towels weren’t often available for the pool. Furniture around the pool area was in need of replacing. Pool cleaning was carried out one day at 10.30 whilst we were swimming and sunbathing. When I left the man on reception didn’t want to print up my bill and I had to ask for a copy. He never asked how my stay was or thanked me for staying there - he boardline rude. Finally during our stay (for 2 weeks) there was a man sitting by reception who looked like a down and out and I found this intimidating. No explanation was ever given as to why he was sitting there all day/evening long or who he was.

The bar was not open at all. The ac unit in our room was loud and the door to the room kept popping. But the staff was amazing and helping.

Near the executive airport with a lot of commercial buildings around. Nice small pool and decorations in the main lobby very comfortable. It is a comfortable stay. Plan on staying again.

Parking was gray , breakfast nice, employees nice the area is safe , clean and I have stayed here several time.

Was hoping to get a glass of wine but was told I had to buy a whole bottle because the bar was closed even though wine was advertised at 5.00 per glass.

Only upgrade needed is the pool area . Happy hour food was t the greatest.

The stay was comfortable and enjoyable to spend the day in. The breakfast had a lot of variety and delicious. The pool was nice, loved that they had towels waiting for you at the entrance just in case. My one thing is that the gym equipment might need some updating. The treadmill was outdated and shocked me when I used it. Aside from that, loved the stay.

It looked like they were in the process of renovating. Room smelled like cigars and mildew even though no smoking signs were plastered everywhere. Most of the room was clean but the shower had some noticeable soap buildup and grout that really needed to be scrubbed. Additionally the shower had a half glass door, the other half was completely open with no curtain or anything so after taking a shower the floor was covered in water. The room did have nice amenities like a tv, desk, fridge and microwave. The hotel staff was nice and helpful and they also provided a nice breakfast buffet but housekeeping did not come by the room during our stay.

The drain in the sink was blocked. A couple of cockroaches showed up. We complained with management but their response was not satisfactory. Not a pleasant experience.

The worst stay I have ever had in a hotel! I travel a lot and I couldn't believe how dirty the room was! Hair on the pillow cases pee all over the restroom! Plus they messed up my reservation and took over a hour to find it.

I am very sad at the fact the first room we stayed in had a toilet issue wouldn’t flush. They moved us to another room just to wake up the next morning bitten by bed bugs they were all in the bed. I have so many bites on my leg I had to contact The front desk again to be moved to another room which bathroom Wasn’t clean it had nasty things all In the toilet

Clean and renovated hotel in a relatively quiet location. I was worried that it's attached to one of the smaller private jet air ports, so it might be noisy. But it wasn't the case. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

So the price was good on this one and it was a Best Western. The room is large and clean, but there were several drawbacks. First, the refrigerator door was opened and the fridge frozen over and not working. That’s a big deal on a roadtrip. The overhead switch didn’t work, so we just used lamps. There are two beds but only one convenient plug and one end table. They are a little chinchy on the towels. The bathroom sink is stuck and won’t drain. The overhead shower nozzle was fussy and weird. These are just minor things, but the biggest reason I almost 2-starred this is because you WILL hear your neighbors. If you are a light sleeper, you better insist on a room nowhere near anyone. You hear the doors shut. You hear the “action.” You will definitely hear the music or the TV and the voices of the people next door. The rooms adjoin and it’s like the echoes come through. The main reason I give it the extra star is because the staff is helpful. They aren’t overly friendly (especially for someone from Texas), but they are helpful. The breakfast is decent. You pay for it, but as they say on the menu - “it’s cheaper than IHOP.” If you need a place to crash, and you crash hard, this one will do for the price. $100 for an ocean view is decent. If you want a nice stay, eh, check around.

Was a great hotel. Beds were comfortable and they had the best pillows I’ve ever had a hotel. My only compliant was the shower, pressure and water temp were great design/layout was horrible and clear designed by a man

We (me, trophy husband - yes it says this is Richard's review, but I booked the reservation and put it in his name for check in purpose only) stayed here for two nights. What we liked: Sizeable room with a couch separate from the bed. Plenty of room to spread out. Comfortable bed. Blackout curtains. USB ports/plenty of places to plug in. Breakfast was decent with warm and cold options. Tea and coffee is always available in the lobby. Laundry facilities on-site as well. No cancelation fees! Cons: The bathroom shower door is non existent. Seriously weird. My kids room was the same. Big shower with a half glass door. So when I showered, water got on the floor, door, and my clothes outside the shower. And while I was cleaning my front half, my back half was cold. So I turned around and then the front half got cold. I am not a rotisserie. Such a weird design that I knocked a star off. Some of us want a full shower door. Also. There was some significant wear and tear on the carpet and furnishings (not a deal breaker for me but it could turn some off).

Property was good however the shower in the rooms the water kept coming out and wetting the floor . Also the pressure of the shower is very low . The carpet needs to be deep clean as it smells very old .

Good price for a quality BUT hotel is marked as Expedia/hotels.com VIP property but is not respecting the rules presented on hotels.com. Late check out was listed as free of charge for Gold members however only for … 1h if you want to stay longer you will be asked to pay 40 USD. I have never had a problem with this benefit in other hotels. Consultant in Hotles.com chat proposed 35 USD coupon as a compensation. I have booked 3 rooms (3x40 USD).

Cons- Had to wait awhile to get checked in because no one was at the front desk and there was no phone/bell to ring them. Shower had a rainfall shower head which was not great...poor pressure and the water barely got hot...if you have to get in the shower to turn it on which means you get hit with the cold water. The TV was off to the side of the bed instead of in front of it. I had a $12 credit for food/drink which the attendant did not notify me of...brought to his attention later in the night when we went to the lobby for a late snack. Pro- Otherwise it was clean and comfortable. Good pillows. Breakfast is the standard hotel Breakfast.

Rude encounter at checkout. Front desk personnel totally ignored me on checkout. His name was Leo. He was very rude and totally unprofessional. I told him I was checking out and waited for my receipt and he ignored me for almost 5 minutes. Apparently whatever he was doing on his phone or whoever he was talking to was more important than taking care of a customer. You shouldn’t have someone like that as the face of your business. It wasn’t until I said, where is my receipt did he even reluctantly look at me. After staying here about 6 or 7 times a year I’m never coming back. The only positive note was a young lady named Sophia, who granted me an extra couple of hours for Checkout. I would never recommend this best Western again.

Chris the employee was amazing, the best employee so far!! He needs to be a bonus or raise. He made my visit so smooth and efficient and the best ever.

I liked the property however when it came to checking in it was a very long wait and then I had a very big inconvenience one of my cards were charged 200 for the deposit and they told me it ntn go through but I’m looking at it on my bank statement and showed them it then they charged my other card and that in fact went through also then they told me it went through and they were having IT issues I dealt with Leo and was told I had to speak to a manager and after speaking with her the next morning she told me the refund to my first card she is going to process and the next one will be processed after check out I checked out from November 29 th it’s now December 8 and I have yet to get my money!!! Oh but they will refund that

It is a great stay for day trips to Everglades National Park without the intense traffic in the downtown Miami area. Always good to have a breakfast included!

Not next to Miami international airport, don't be fooled. This hotel is situated near a private airport. But the staff were great and the room very clean and nice.

Be aware, hotel name can be very misleading because location is NOT close to MIA airport at all, rather its 1 hr drive away in another city, Kendal. We called Hotels.com to cancel our other 2 nights and got our refund. And we booked another hotel closer to MIA airport. Otherwise its a nice place. Reception is friendly , room spacious, breakfast is fine, adequate.

Great hotel! Very friendly staff, exceptionally clean. The only putty is that it you are not very close to the city. All in all very recommended!!

The hotel its small, clean the only thing its far away from Miami Centre, more like 50 minutes. If you are going just to rest its ok, but if you want to explore downtown Miami its better to stay in a hotel close to downtown.

Clean and confortable but industrial area so not much around for food or things to do

Don’t make the mistake I did. There are 2 airports in Miami and this hotel is very far from the main airport, and also very far from the cruise port. For the amount I’ve spent in taxi fares I could have stayed at a way better hotel. Hotel itself is adequate, no restaurants or services close by.

If you are using the neighboring Miami executive airport or any other airport in the Area, that's the place to be within walking distance from several plaza, sure to cover all your potential needs from cloths shopping to hair cut facial dining you are served the hotel even have a mini Depanneur on the side of the front desk that readily cover major travelers emergency

Quiet area near the airport but not the international airport, friendly welcoming stsff

I stayed here for a week. It was a very pleasant stay. Full breakfast served every morning. Two waffle makers with toppings. Some sort of eggs and meat, sausage patties, bacon or sausage links. They also had oatmeal, small pastries, muffins, yogurt, some days bagels and next day biscuits. They had a latte maker as well. Staff members very nice and helpful.

Overall aesthetics were very good and seemed updated. Good value for money. Breakfast buffet was good quality but they ran out of a few things early.
