Very nice self catering unit, lovely welcome and friendly helpful staff. Large unit with kitchen dining/ lounge, large bedroom and shower room/toilet. The property was clean throughout and well maintained. Kitchen was fully stocked and we were given small bottle of milk at check in. Kitchen had two ring cooker plus microwave and plug in hot cooking pan. Fridge and freezer with kettle and toaster. Parking right outside unit. Large supermarket right next door for all self catering needs, couldn’t have been better. Definitely recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our stay. When we checked in, was friendly from the get to, walked to our room and showed everything inside. It was warm (with a heat pump and electric blankets on bed). Spacious and the 2 bedroom suited our family nicely. Nice sized kitchen to do a holiday on the cheap. Only niggle was the bath had a metal thing at the end that was loose or was designed to not let it oveflow so couldn’t enjoy a nice deep bath as it drained - wasn’t sure which :) but the bath was still good and comfy.

8/10 - Pretty spacious room with a mini fridge and microwave. Shower water pressure is low and you have to pay $10 for laundry - no big deal but other places it has been free. Location is good, right next to a New World supermarket and a 15 minute walk from Monteith's Brewery. Very comfortable bed and pillows! Quite happy with my 2 day stay just wish the shower was a little better!

We stayed in an executive studio which was a good size. Everything was good but would have liked a bedside table on both sides of the bed. Also a floor standing ironing board instead of the flimsy table top one provided.

This is a classic older New Zealand motel, well maintained and clean. A very comfortable two room suite with more for cooking facilities than we expected. You park outside your door if you have a car. We didn’t but found multiple dining options in walking distance (and the town center is only a 20 minute walk). There is a supermarket next door. About a 10 minute walk to the beach. Would stay here again definitely.

Kevin and Tina were great hosts. 4 of us had a one night stopover after taking the Transalpine train from Christchurch to Greymouth. Our unit was clean and we all had the best sleep because of our beds. Sheets were fresh n crisp. Kevin picked n dropped us to train station. Couldn’t ask for better service. Also had great dinner n breakfast at buccleigh’s nearby

The manageress was most welcoming, such a lovely experience. A wonderful lady so engaging and supportive made us feel valued. Walked us to our studio and explained everything inside the room. Provided with important information guidance and Locations around the town. We recommend her to all those travelling to Greymouth. Best place to stay we will always remember our trip to Greymouth.
