Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel

The only problem I had was not enough parking at the hotel area , I ended up having to park in the casino parking and was told to look for a shuttle to bring me, well I didn’t see a shuttle in the area I was and was just done driving around as it took me 45 minutes to finally get parked. I ended up just walking back to the hotel

The Hotel was nice. There wasn’t enough parking close to the hotel for paying customers and guests.

Parking was convenient, however the lot could use more spots( and handicapped spots) Parking lot was overfilled on the night we stayed.

Terrible, overpriced experience. Limited dinning options, loads of “closed areas”, no entertainment, scratchy sheets, limited hours casino floor opened. It was the “deadest” casino I’ve ever experienced. Go to Mt Pleasant or Detroit.

They had system outage when we arrived and weren’t able to make keys resulting in delay of over an hour. Also, wifi was not strong in room and kept going out.

Hotel parking is inadequate, not enough spaces, had to park in the casino parking lot every time which makes for a longer walk to the hotel and is inconvenient when dragging luggage.

The Casino was Nice its small and busy in the evening.

This property is attached to the casino, which helps if you like to gamble. The hotel has a few food options available. There is no pool, which would have been a lovely option or a spa. Its location is great, close to Traverse City and downtown.

Fantastic rooms and great rates. But if you want to play table games, go somewhere else. We were there in Sunday afternoon and evening and there was ONE BJ table open the whole time. There until 1pm on Monday and they never opened a single table game of any kind. Unacceptable.

Offers free shuttle services to and from for spa, pool & hot tub amenities which is just a 5 minute drive away!

The restaurant was fantastic! Staff and food both were great. Hotel was clean, but we had asked have our room cleaned and it wasn’t cleaned once while we were there. Our towels were only replaced because I went to ask for them and complain about our room not being cleaned when asked.

Most hotel/casinos that I have stayed at have been exceptional, so I expected the same at Turtle Creek Casino. The rooms are pricey and even more so during a holiday weekend. When we arrived (around 6pm) we went to our room. Everything at first glance was good. We changed and went down for the Thursday night buffet for dinner. The buffet was disgusting. All the food.. was poor quality and bad tasting. They need to put more effort and variety into the food. Casino is small but nice, a good variety of games and the smoking section is on another floor so it didnt smell. Back to the room to shower.. noticed wads of hair all over the shower.. gross. The “blackout” curtains didn’t really blackout the room. The elevators are the fastest elevators I have ever been in. Overall is was an ok experience.

We love coming here to stay for my annual birthday trip. The remodel is beautiful and the staff was awesome as always. My only complaint is the amount of dust that was in our room. We stayed in room 806 and the space between the refrigerator cubby and the wall was full of dust bunnies. Obvious ones, like I don't know how housekeeping missed it or else their ventilation system is dirty. There was dust on all tall surfaces as well. Before hanging my outfit on the outside of the armoire (it was too long to hang inside), I checked for dust and had to wipe down the area before I hung it. That was shocking and disappointing. Other than that, our stay was wonderful.

ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND BED WAS COMFORTABLE WITH PLENTY OF PILLOWS. THEY DIDNT CLEAN BETWEEN NIGHTS SO WAS DISAPPOINTED ON THAT NOTE.

Staffing was a little light. When checking in we were 7th in line with only one person at the desk. No housekeeping unless you request it, they should at least have the door tags to hang if you want it. Nice room, great steakhouse and casual dining. Good all in all.

The rooms were very nice—modern, spacious, stylish, and clean—and the staff was helpful and friendly. However, the noise from the HVAC system, the road, and, oddly enough, the walls (possibly from plumbing) made it difficult to sleep. The location was convenient, and the proximity to gaming was excellent.

The hotel is very clean and looks very nice. Problem areas were the beds were very firm and the ac kicked on every 30 minutes sounding like an airplane taking off. It quieted down, but then it sounded like water was dripping after it stopped running. When we went to the casino at 9:30 PM, you couldn't get any service at the bar. We sat for 30 minutes playing video poker won 10 bucks. Not one person approached us to ask if we wanted something to drink, so we left. In the hotel lobby we mentioned this to the CSR and she said it's not unusual we can't get anyone to work here.

Room was outstanding right in the corner on the third floor. Great view out the windows. Easy access to the casino which was clean, friendly and fun. A decent amount of food options whuch were solid.

Didnt like how the bathroom door didnt completly cover the doorway and was a crack on right side, didnt seem private enough

We had a room on the Highway side of Hotel all you hear is Vehicles going by.

Nice room, updated and modern. Could not hear anyone in the room next door, which was nice.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. It was in excellent condition. The shower and bath room were roomy and well lit. The hotel was quiet and the hotel elevators only worked with room key cards.

The Ac in the room it was very loud

The beds are very uncomfortable for 450 a night

The room was beautiful. The beds were small but they were doubles not a queens. My husband liked the smoking room & convenience of walking staring through the corridor to the Casino.

Staff i work front desk at motel she was very unfriendly

Went to check in and lady checking in two their guests and had us standing waiting fir about 10 mi utes as she laughed and chattered with them. Could have been done in a few moments. Felt unfair.

Front Dest at Hotel should be friendly. No smiles they look like they hate their jobs. It wasnt just time last time was the same way.

Very clean casino with designated smoking area. Hotel rooms were very nice and clean. We were there on a weekday and staffing could have been a little heavier. Had to wait a while for drinks (not free like Vegas) and a bartender at the bar. Staff was very friendly however.

It was easy to find, easy to park, check-in desk was close to entrance. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom clean. We would stay here again.

This hotel was central to all the areas we wanted to see. Sleeping bear park was great and about 45 minutes by car. Went to elk rapids (25 minutes) and st Ignacio town over Mackinac bridge for shopping and restaurants (1 hr 35 minutes). Traverse city had lots of little shops as well (20 minutes). Car definitely needed. The casino was conveniently located on lower level of hotel. The restaurants on site but buffet only opened on Thursday through the weekend so we didn’t go there. However a steakhouse and deli were on same floor as casino. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping readily available. Lots of parking with little walking to car. 20 minutes from airport. Loved the views from local beaches. Gas stations and quick marts next to hotel.

The only good thing about this property is that it is clean. It is a Casino and that is the only focus of the property. If you don't want to gamble there is nothing to do. I was not there to gamble. The food selections are among the worst of anywhere I have stayed. I arrived on a Tuesday and nothing was open. Could not have dinner that was anything more than a highly overpriced greasy grilled cheese at the Casino "deli". The staff couldn't even tell me where I could go for a real meal and was otherwise generally unhelpful. In the morning you can't get a cup of coffee or a bagel before 9:00 and then you have to go to the Casino deli so they can walk you past the slot machines. A bottle of water was $3.50. When the only actual on-premises restaurant opened, the menu was extremely limited and highly overpriced, even for a Casino. The food was mediocre. Service was terrible although that seemed to be a problem throughout the area. Everyone is short of help. The bottom line is that unless your sole goal is to put coins in slots, stay far away from this property. You cannot go there to be a regular hotel guest and have the fact that you are paying a substantial room rate recognized. They prefer to cater to the retired grandmother gambling away her social security check and ignore the fellow seeking a nice place to stay and a good bar and restaurant. Although I am not a gambler, I have spent plenty of time in Vegas hotels where they know how to treat a guest.

Beautiful room with night lighting under bed and vanity. Wall light for reading. Charging plugs. Nice step in shower. Very high end! However, no cafe open until 9:00am to get food? Really? Not everyone stays in the casino until 3:00am.

The steakhouse food was exceptional!

The only thing that we weren't happy about is the buffet was horrible they used chicken nuggets for there Chinese food

Everything was great! The check in staff was very friendly, dinner at bourbons 72 was amazing and the waitress was very attentive. Overall a wonderful experience.

The resort was very clean and the room we had was great. It was a corner room with lots of views. We dined at the Steakhouse in the Casino. Excellent prime rib, the bread service served with olive oil and garlic was delicious.
