Pay for the suite, it's not much more and the room is much bigger; the regular room is extremely small It was clean and everything worked fine, but if you're looking for a fancier place (hotel) this isn't it. For the going rate in the area, it was good. Only gripe was the pool...there wasn't one. We were allowed to use the pool at the Quebec Motel across the street. The pool was crowded, small, & there was no place to sit down or put your towel...except hang it on the fence.

Plenty of free parking. Very close to the beach exactly 1 block away from the boardwalk. Everything is within walking distance. Decent, clean room for my husband and I. Not a big room but it’s fine for just 2 people. Very good price compared to the other places to stay in the area. No pool but it’s connected to Quebec so you have access to that one which is right across the street. The roof top deck is also nice.

I stayed at Calypso Boutique for Memorial Day Weekend with my husband and daughter and we had a great time. The room was very spacious, not too big and not too small. It was very quiet at the hotel and clean and the parking was super convenient for us. The hotel staff were so nice and even gave us a welcome goodie bag. The hotel is only about a five minute walk from the boardwalk. We will definitely be returning!

Staff was very nice. Place was very close to the boardwalk and especially for beach blast soccer. The double room is quite small and tight to manuever in for 2 people. The floors were quite dirty when I had to wipe up leaking water from the rainstorm from the window.

When one thinks of a boutique hotel, one thinks of a small hotel that has been updated and refurbished to 2020s standard.Oh not this one. The facade looks good but the insides are straight out of the 1950s. Small rooms. A bathroom that had a leaky toilet that no doubt hasn't seen a plumber in 10 years. Cleanliness. How about a small potato under the air conditioner and a cherrio. One old old chair. Yes, a tv that worked. A clock in the room. Nah, why, when you can use a sundial. Cur tains. Well sorta, if you willing to pull a chair over, climb up and pull them over and rehang them, That bad. Yep. Thank god it didn't rain. There's no way any sane person could spend a rainy day in the room. And check in. At the hotel. Nope. Go across the street to a motel and check in. Nice folks but disengaged from the customer. Bottom line: stay away. A Wildwood dump -- probably like 85% of the hotels in that town. Would I return to Wildwood. Perhaps in another 50 years!!! Go to Cape May. Better, Lewes, DE.

The hotel is a registered historic building, so it’s not modern. BUT the room was freshly painted and super clean. Fixtures were a little dated, but again, clean and well cared for. 2 minute walk to the boardwalk, and in easy walking distance to restaurants, etc. we parked our car when we arrived and didn’t move it until we checked out. My only complaint is they provide a coffee maker, but no coffee. Had to run to the bodega at 9:30 at night.

I have been here at least 7 time, and this is the first we did not enjoy the trip because of the room. Too small for price and no dinner table to enjoy dinner with my wife. The bed on has one exited to get out to go to the restroom. Because of this room my wife and I will not be coming back again anytime soon.

The thing I would change is more staff to clean the rooms in the morning hours instead of mid afternoon. Also, there were exposed wires underneath my ac unit and my little ones were very curious about them. Definitely need to address that. Other than that I really liked this hotel. Loved the distance from there to the boardwalk and also the pool was great too! I’d stay here again for sure, they just need to make some adjustments, especially with the exposed wires.

What stood out to me about this place was the ease and friendliness of the staff. They were very considerate and helpful. Also received a little welcome bag when we checked in, which was the first time I received anything from a hotel in Wildwood and I’ve been through a few of them. Definitely would recommend this place and come back!

We did not stay at this hotel, through Expedia. I was told to expect a room with two twin beds as I was staying with a friend. When I checked in and we went to the room, there was only one bed. Fortunately, we were put in a room at the sister hotel With two beds. The clerk was very, very helpful and remedied the problem very quickly.
