Was an overall really great stay. Some quirks about the property I didn't like - such as limited and inconvenient parking options, elevator being so far away from our room rather than more central to the building, lower deck/ patio was closed I think and we were looking forward to utilizing it. Room had cheaper items like pans, utensils, etc. But far far better than any hotel!! Highly recommend

Got a two bedroom, which was very nice, a place I could be comfortable staying a while. It had full size bunk beds in one room, a king bed in the other with a powder room, and I believe the sofa was a pullout. Lots of towels, everything we needed, very nice clean kitchen, I could go on. Wanda at the front desk was awesome. It was clean everywhere and very pretty with flowers, etc. Parking was plentiful and easy, short walk to the bay front. We couldn’t hear anything from the sea lions this far, and this is August 3-5. Loved it, would return!

The Landing staff was friendly and helpful with information. The condo we stayed in was clean, well maintained, nicely decorated and had a great view of the marina. It was wonderful having such accommodations while traveling with our fur baby. As there is no air conditioning, a 2nd fan would have been nice to help draw in cool air in the evenings. It didn't dawn on us to ask the staff for another fan until the office had closed.

My favorite place to stay on the Oregon coast! Beautiful spotless apartments right in the bay, stunning views. Fire place, w/d, full kitchen, quiet, small but workable gym. Free and safe parking. Close to my favorite restaurant on the coast : Local Ocean Restaurant

I've visited the Landing at Newport several times a year for a lot of years. Pluses: The people that run the place are super nice and helpful. The units are in good shape and offer full kitchens, nice beds, nice sofa, and amenities like clothes washer, dish washer etc. They've also upgraded the wifi so that it's now actually very good. It's in a good location, with views of a little inlet with boats, sea guls, and sounds of sea lions. And its only a short walk to a touristy boardwalk area with dining, shopts, bars etc. Cons: The tv sets are ancient, with the worst tv offerings imaginable. Even worse than "basic cable". The elevator is almost always out of service, so expect to lug your luggage up flights of stairs to your room. The parking situation is confusing and becomes a problem on busy summer weekends when the place fills up. There is neither AC nor heating (aside from the gas fireplace). For most of the year that's fine, except on hot summer days and cold winter days.

While this is a nice place each suite is owed by a different person. Which give you the house guest feel. However if you are arriving later in the evening it becomes a bit of a hassle as their front desk staff closes at 9 I got there at 9:01pm called the number on the door lady could not find the reservation. When she got on site though she was amazing. As was the the rest of the stay the only reason for the 4 star is because of the initial interaction.

Enjoyed being along the docks and watching boats come and go. Condo was spacious and very clean. The cleaning person, Jillian, does a very good job. Would definitely recommend to others to stay here.

Loved, loved, loved this place! The staff was so friendly and awesome. I honestly did not want to leave. The place was so clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, dishes. I will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The view great, overlooking a nice marina and the bay. The room was very nice and very clean. The bed was a little uncomfortable but ok. One of the nicest things about the stay was Wanda at the front desk. Very friendly women who just wanted your stay to be enjoyable. We talked about restaurants, local sights to see and some of the local beaches. She is the kind of person you just like right away. We will definitely be back.

We booked a studio and based on the property photos we assumed we would have had a balcony. The property and staff was wonderful, even the room but disappointed about not having a balcony. Double check when you book your room.

Was a very nice place to stay, the view over the docks was neat. Staff were friendly. Only complaint was no AC. The only way to cool it down was to leave the windows open, but the windows opened directly next to walking paths. Sleeping was quite hot at night.

This place was a great deal! I reserved a studio, but they upgraded us to a one bedroom for no extra cost. Very happy with our unit. Big view of bridge, marina area and boat traffic. Quiet, but not real busy at this time (April). Well supplied kitchen (but no tea); spacious including two bathrooms (one is just toilet and sink). Everything works, is generally comfortable, and looks nice. The bed is a bit odd: top mattress isn't same shape as support, maybe just needs to be turned and repositioned, but comfortable enough. Pillows too plump for me. These are minor complaints. Overall, a great place. I would be happy to stay here again, and would recommend. Location is good: easy to walk to historic bayfront area or up the steep hill for exercise to a neighborhood with a big view; easy drive to Nye Beach or elsewhere in the area. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful.

Landing at Newport has been my go-to getaway when I want to chill out at the Oregon Coast. They offer neat little condos that are in a convenient location, and right on a little inlet/boat dock, where you'll hear lots of sea gulls and enjoy the coastal air and breeze. The amenities are really good, full kitchen, decent bed/couch, and in recent years, they've upgraded their wireless so that it's now pretty good.

Overall, the hotel is very nice and the unit looks out over the boats and bay. The area has a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. the only takeaway was that our 1 bedroom unit with a king bed had a mattress that had poor support on the right side which caused back aches. It needs to be replaced.

What an amazing place to stay. Located right on the harbor. Had an awesome balcony which was great to have coffee on in the morning. Everything you need, washer, dryer, and an additional half bath! Wanda at the desk was amazing. Super friendly and helpful with local recommendations. If we are ever back in Newport, this will be our go to place.

Love the starter coffee! Don’t like the tip the cleaner thing. Just add it into the room price. The flowers were really lovely. The gal at the front desk was great too! Can’t wait to come back.

It had full size bunk beds in one room, a king bed in the other with a powder room, and I believe the sofa was a pullout. Lots of towels, everything we needed, very nice clean kitchen, I could go on. Wanda at the front desk was awesome. It was clean everywhere and very pretty with flowers, etc. Parking was plentiful and easy, short walk to the bay front. We couldn’t hear anything from the sea lions this far, and this is August 3-5. Loved it, would return!

The suite was well appointed and the kitchen had everything required for preparing meals. It had comfortable chairs and a glass door and balcony to look out on the marina. Check-in was fast and the staff were friendly.

However if you are arriving later in the evening it becomes a bit of a hassle as their front desk staff closes at 9 I got there at 9:01pm called the number on the door lady could not find the reservation. When she got on site though she was amazing. As was the the rest of the stay the only reason for the 4 star is because of the initial interaction.

What an amazing place to stay. Located right on the harbor. Had an awesome balcony which was great to have coffee on in the morning. Everything you need, washer, dryer, and an additional half bath! Wanda at the desk was amazing. Super friendly and helpful with local recommendations. If we are ever back in Newport, this will be our go to place.

We stayed at The Landing to watch the Christmas Lights boat parade in the Bay. It had a great view. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants, including the infamous sea lion docks! Our room was clean and comfortable with a kitchen that was lovely to have for take out!

We had a wonderful stay. The view great, overlooking a nice marina and the bay. The room was very nice and very clean. The bed was a little uncomfortable but ok. One of the nicest things about the stay was Wanda at the front desk. Very friendly women who just wanted your stay to be enjoyable. We talked about restaurants, local sights to see and some of the local beaches. She is the kind of person you just like right away. We will definitely be back.

Newport is so special and The Landing is a great spot to stay. The best part is the balcony, view, quiet bedroom and having kitchen to make simple breakfast or lunch. Abundant dinner option and fish lovers paradise!
