Everything was enjoyable. The only thing to be aware of is the parking is roughly 2 blocks away, which may be normal for nyc, but it was a first for me. So yeah a heads up if you need to drop anything off first before parking.

Ideally situated in the heart of midtown NYC. We had an awesome experience, among the best stay we've had on our numerous trips to NYC. Very clean, very responsive staff, great commodities. The only downside for us was the interminable wait for the elevator. Overall, great experience!

Elevators keep breaking- I had to take the stairs to my room in the 20th floor- when leaving I had to use then elevator- I had to wait 45 minutes

Stayed here for the weekend with my daughter & her dad. We felt welcome. Loved the fee drink upon check-in. They have an area outside for lounging as well as inside. Photo friendly forsure. Would stay again

Old run down property. First 2 nights I only had cold water to shower in. Was told hot water was not possible so shifted me to new room on 14th floor. Major lift isses. They only have 2 lift and one was regularly out of service. On 3 occasions had to walk down 14 stories as the 1 working lift couldn't/wouldn't stop on level 14. In both rooms the safe also didnt work. The so called fitness centre is comprised on a couple of treadmills and a broken cable station.Overall very poor.

Overall brilliant place to stay especially from a tourist perspective as most things are on your doorstep. The staff are amazing, so so good infact I can’t vouch for them enough especially two younger women who helped me move rooms when I first arrived. The breakfast is good and worth the money but there are a lot of good breakfast spots nearby too. Beds are comfy, showers are great. The gym is average, no free weights just a lot of cardio equipment and then cables which you can do a lot of different things on and make do. All in all I would definitely go back.

Good Hotel. We had some on and off issues with 1 of the 2 elevators the week we were there that caused some delays in getting up to or down from the room.

Check in: They had me check'd in earlier than my chk in time (I was just a little sorry I had to wait for a room upon arrival). The person who checked me in was lovely. I appreciated the text communication option. Rooms/Lobby: Rooms and beds were VERY small. You don't want to spend any time in your room. Luckily the Lobby space is very nice and has all sitting options you may need/want. Bar: We appreciated the 2 complimentary cocktails the Hotel provided. The Bartending Mgr, was nice welcoming and fun. Complaints: Rooms & Beds (too small). Extra charge for 'City View' was misleading. They should truly only be called 'high rise rooms'. had I known the view I would not have paid extra for that. Another complaint upon check out was that I wanted to tip the Bellhop holding our bags and i was unable to obtain change from the Front Desk , Concierge or the Bar.

Room smells of cigarette smoke. Never stayed in a room this small anywhere in the world. No fridge in room.

My #1 worry about hotels is cleanliness and safety — and I didn’t have to worry about either at voco. The staff were courteous and accommodating. I loved that the concierge was available to help us arrange transportation, if we needed it! The rooms were spotless. We received a (delicious) free drink at the hotel bar on the evening of our check-in. It made for an incredibly enjoyable stay, no matter how short! We’ll definitely be back!

We had the best stay here, and even decided to stay an extra night because everything was so comfortable, the location was just right, and the staff was so wonderful. Walkable to everything, including shopping on 5th Avenue, Central Park, Moma, restaurants, and of course Times Square. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and we had a nice city view from the 23rd floor. Every staff member was exceptional, from front desk, to bar, to housekeeping. I've stayed in many places in NY and this is a good one for sure, especially for the price. Incredibly comfortable atmosphere and welcoming vibe, with an upscale feel.

The shower was not very clean and the room didn’t have a microwave or small fridge. The staff was great. Concierge service awesome.

Hotel in good location, rooms good but dusty in corners, shower head needed cleaned and is set at the wrong angle (you can’t change it). Massive stain on the curtain in room looked very bad. Room would benefit from a kettle. On the positive rooms well equipped with other things, beds very comfortable and their bed linen and towels were good quality. We didn’t find the lifts an issue despite other reviews.

I loved the staff, they were very friendly and helpful. But the parking needs to be specified. They don’t have their own parking. The rooms are really small and there’s not even a mini fridge in the rooms. The room description says Citi view but all I could see was the back of a building. I will not stay here again because it was overpriced for what’s offered. But I was treated very well by staff. Therefore I am ok with my stay.

The staff and location were great, but boy, our 2-bed room was really small and cramped for our family of 4. Hardly any space to unpack and store suitcases. My young daughters felt claustrophobic. Next time, we will pay more attention to square footage when booking a hotel in NYC.

This is a super chic and modern property! Super convenient location, walkable to anywhere! The staff was great and the little hang out area super cute! The only complaint I would have is there is no place for your clothes. No closet so drawers.. nothing. Maybe a typical NY Hotel, but something I’m not used to.

Location is good for Penn Station or walking to Times Square area. Room is clean, elevators slow, bed a bit too low and soft to get a really good nights sleep. If you want quiet, get a room facing the courtyard. No view but no traffic noise at all. We went elsewhere for breakfast -prices in hotel high. Walk to corner of 9th Ave for really good deli bacon,egg & cheese sandwich for about $6.

Elevator takes forever, very small rooms even for NYC. It was just ok. Nothing really to complain about. Close to MSG and Penn Station but a little run down area. If you need to be in this area, its a good hotel. If you are coming for vacation, stay on the Eastside closer to Lexington Ave.

Room was clean and tidy when I got there. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I was able to leave my baggages with the hotel since I got to NYC before the check-in time. Marcos and Micheal went above and beyond to ensure I have a wonderful stay. They attended to all my needs and answered all my questions. Marcos is very professional and friendly, ensured my baggages were safe and clean. Having conversations and making suggestions for places to visit. Michael at the front desk was welcoming, professional and friendly. Answering all my questions and providing me with the need information to ensure my stay was great; which it was. I do recommend this hotel and i will definitely stay again.

Staff were friendly and the room was clean. I arrived late in the evening and missed out on the complimentary drink as the bar just closed. The location was great and accessible to everything. I would definitely stay again!

My time at voco time square south was nothing short of amazing . From the time of check in greeted with friendly staff and accommodations was everything I expected . Great for a solo staycation and will definitely be booking again

I booked this hotel based on other reviews on how great the staff and overall good experience other guests had while they stayed at the voco hotel Times Square, and I will happily say that the other reviews were spot on! Everyone who worked at this hotel was professional, courteous , smiling and above all happy to help when needed. I recommend to anyone who asks that this is a great place to stay. (And I’m not a typical person who leaves reviews;))

This one of the worst Hotel experiences I have ever stayed in. We were Checking in with large suitcase for an our cruise and there was no porter available to help us. We booked 3 room and several of us had limited mobility issues. The front desk clerk was not willing to help us. He just pointed to a luggage cart in the lobby. We had to get our heavy suitcases up to our rooms ourselves. The next morning we went out for coffee and retired to find our we could not get back into our rooms and we got stuck in the elevator for 30 min. Them After we checked out we were waiting for our Uber in the lobby. I needed to use the restroom. It was Locked so I ask concierge to open the bathroom. She said I do not have a key. I asked her again can you get a key and open the bathroom. She looked at me like it was a big inconvenience to her. I asked again to get the key and open the locked bathroom in the lobby. Finally another staff member overheard me and unlocked the bathroom doors. Then when our uber arrived no staff member even offered to help with all our luggage. Never in all my years as a travel agent have I ever came across such an unprofessional hotel staff. I would never recommend this hotel to my clientele.

The Voco Times Square was a great hotel to stay at for exploring the city, it was close to Penn Station where we got off after using the airtrain/subway in from JFK. The welcome from Micheal on reception was friendly & he got us checked in straight away. The room was a decent size for NYC & our 2 queen beds were very comfortable. The shower was decent & the coffee maker in the room was very welcome.

This was my second time staying at the voco, and it didn’t disappoint. Front desk , bar staff, and cleaning staff are all very friendly and helpful. Was able to check into my room early and they were able to accommodate a late check out! Room was clean & quiet. Loved having a filtered water station on my floor & a big fan of the fresh popcorn daily. Look forward to staying at the Voco again in the future.

The hotel is very walkable to different restaurants plus Madison Square Garden & Times Square.

Really well maintained room and overall facility. Nice lounge area. As others mentioned waiting for elevator could be annoying. Bar on the main floor was okay, drinks are not worth it. Street is full of traffic even late at night around 10pm. Parking is couple blocks away in a covered garage. Had a minor issue picking up the car with ticket not getting validated correctly by the parking cashier.

Friendly staff great location!

Feels like this was a steal given the location of the hotel to Times Square and the fact that it was booked this pretty much right before the trip took place. It was only a few minutes of walking to Times Square and stations. The street itself is quiet; many of the businesses across the street seemed to be out-of-business. The staff were incredibly kind, the room was neat, and the hotel very clean. My friend and I were only there for the weekend, so we did not make use of the hotel's restaurant.

We enjoyed our stay at the Voco. The staff was friendly & helpful. The property was centrally located for our liking. We were a short walk to MSG, Times Square and Macys. We would absolutely stay there again.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Times Square and Penn Station but far enough away from the craziness of Times Square. The street it is on is quiet but not clean. Having a police precinct one block away helped us feel safe. The hotel itself was great: clean, well-maintained, and updated. Our room was small, but that is to be expected in NYC. Would definitely stay here again!

Inside the lobby area was nice and had a very comfortable setting, but the elevators were very small very old and the hallways were quite dark and gloomy. The room was extremely small and very old. But we checked out of the hotel early because the surrounding area was full of homeless people drug addicts and a very unsafe area.

It's located near metro stations and a short distance to Times Square. Many places to eat around the area. Excellent location.

The breakfast is a mess and takes forever to get

It was fine. There were a few issues (coffee machine in lobby didn't work, streaming to TV didn't work, room wasn't ready at check-in). Expedia tried to help by offering a voucher for free drinks but the bartender was so nasty it put me off.

The staff were all great. Michael, at reception, and the breakfast staff were all exceptional. One bar man ignored us and took a long time to serve us. Only saw him one day. Room lacked storage. Bathroom heater didn't work. Aircon noisy and also random on when it would come on. Limited seating for breakfast but the food was great. Location is perfect and only 2 blocks from Penn Station.

Checking in and out was seamless. Hotel sent text messages to check in throughout our stay and were immediately responsive to requests. Complimentary popcorn and fruit infused water in the lobby was a nice treat.

Great stay and location! Clean, cozy and staff were great! Breakfast was good too. Only a couple of minor things were that the food took a while to come out, the elevators were a little slow and the heating/AC unit was a bit loud. That being said, we would come back!!!! Thanks Voco

Everything thing was great loved the breakfast services was great and fast.

Our room wasn’t ready at check in time….breakfast took over an hour for a plate of cold eggs…we chose not to use the breakfast voucher the next day as the food was terrible and we didn’t want to waste that much time again waiting for it. Location of the hotel is good and staff was fine….not a place I would return to but just average.

All of the staff were wonderful. The complementary drink on check in day with a $10 dinner credit as well as complimentary popcorn * chocolate was a nice touch. I would stay there again in the future.
