The location leaves a lot to be desired, the area where it is located is really a problem, I do not recommend it at all, then when you are checking in they surprise you with other extra charges for using the "facilities" (none), the rooftop is not enabled, only for events, that is to say in the end you pay more money, you will be far from everything and the area where it is is the worst there is.

The beds are comfortable and the room was OK overall but a few wider issues. The $20 daily amenity fee is a con - it includes WiFi (which I don’t expect to pay for in 2025) gym access (ditto) and a limited (and very poor quality) range of cocktails at the hotel bar. Staff at reception were mixed - the guy who checked us in was arrogant and condescending, the lady at check out was very pleasant. It’s not awful but if you’re staying here because it looks good value, give it a second thought.

Says parking is available. Used the parking garage/valet when first arrived. Was staying there to catch a baseball game. Before leaving for the game, asked the valet how late are they open for, they told me 24/7, and I asked if I would have a spot when I get back. They told me it’s first come first served but I should be fine. Didn’t get back from the game till around 1am. Garage full, no one is there to help me. The lady at the front desk said I would have to park on the street. After driving around for 20 minutes to find a parking spot on the street, found one about eight blocks away from the hotel. I’m so not happy or impressed. If the hotel is advertised parking available, spots need to be saved for people who are staying at the hotel. I don’t even care that there was a fee for parking there.

The check in process was incredibly quick, it was done on my phone before I arrived. All I did was receive my free drink vouchers and room key. They have a fantastic restaurant in the hotel called jalao, the food was amazing and service was even better.

Hotel was very modern and clean...had a hiccup with the elevator being out of service...fixed it the next day..also maid service was sporadic...sevice carts in the halls..didn't clean our room at all the last day....other than that ..not a bad stay.

This hotel met my basic need to be close to the Armory and the subway but the rooms are extremely small with no closet, no ice machines, no microwave, and housekeeping did not clean our room. We were gone all day and we were told they missed our room and housekeeping only worked 8-2. Also we had an issue with the temperature in our room being too hot and after 2 visits from engineering, no resolution. Don’t bring all that good NY food back to your room because you won’t be able to warm it up. They say they don’t have a microwave, but they sell microwave oatmeal in the convenience store. If you want ice, you have to get cups of ice from the front desk and since our room was so warm, they melted within minutes.

The hotel itself was very nice in the lobby and hallways. The staff were pleasant upon check in around 6pm. We had to drop off of things and go to make the Yankees game, so we left almost immediately. Unfortunately, when we got back into the room around 11pm, we noticed the bathroom was not cleaned or not cleaned well enough. To be frank, there was hair (possibly pubic?) stuck to the sliding bathroom door that was immediately visible when the door was closed. The door was also disgusting in other areas with soap? or toothpaste? that was dripped on the door. There was no soap to wash our hands and had to use the body wash. I went down to the front desk to address these issues, however the employee behind the desk was unable to help as housekeeping was not available. I was told that she would attempt to get us a bar of soap, but that never happened. The were no other rooms available for us either. That night we also discovered that some of the lights in the room were malfunctioning/not working. As a heads up to anyone planning to stay in a double bed suite, there is a glass wall that separates the bathroom from the sleeping area. Unfortunately, this wall is shared with the shower in the bathroom. This means that when you are showering, anyone in the room can see a rather detailed outline of whomever is showering. It's not quite see-through, but absolutely see-through enough that not much is left to the imagination.

The plus of this property is it seems safe enough inside. It was semi clean, besides the booger on the bedsheets and no soap for the bathroom sink. The misconceptions are the “valet” parking. There is none. You have to drive around until you find parking at a garage, in an area that isn’t super great for vacationers. Another stretch the truth is the no smoking policy. Maybe they don’t allow it right on premises, but we had to walk through clouds of refer smoke at the front door to get into the building and could smell it coming in the vents of our room. Not exactly appealing. The surrounding area is not for tourists. Very dirty and maybe unsafe for wandering.

The room was pretty dirty. Long dark Hair on the towels and floor and I’m blonde. Dirt and garbage under the bed. The Internet, TV and refrigerator didn’t work. The room was very noisy with traffic from outside. All around not a 4 star hotel as advertised.

I stayed in room 511. The room had bed bugs. I have never had bed bugs noir slept in a hotel room which had bed bugs. I came home with several hard bumps on both my ankles. I did not realize what kind of bites they were until I returned home. I believe I was bitten Fri or Sat night as we returned home Sunday morning. I called the hotel to let them know the room had bed bugs and needed to be checked. I was told "the hotel did not have bed bugs. No one had complained. How would the person on the phone know there were no bed bugs in the room? They would not know but the point was to deflect and not take the complaint seriously....from a person who had stayed in the hotel room 3 days before I contacted the hotel....I would not recommend Radio Hotel.

The rooms were super quiet, even though it was above a busy street. The bed was super comfortable and everything was clean. The staff downstairs was always super friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The furnishings were adorable also. Really fun trendy hotel.

Daily room cleaning didn't clean the garbage can. The bed sheet is broken and does not completely cover the mattress the zipper is broken. The shower door edge leaks water to outside floor. No new tissues for the next two days.

Loved the view of the east side from the 11th floor. Bathroom shower isn’t fully see-through but it’s not private either and there’s only a sliding door for the bathroom, not a locked door. That aside, it was good.

The room was great! It was small but clean, quite efficient and neatly arranged. However, the air conditioner did not work at all, and there was no hot water for a shower 1 of my 2 days there. Room temp was 76+ degrees, and water was cold. I reported the air conditioner issue on first day; water issue on second day. When reported, front desk said they would let their engineer know.

Very loud hotel all night long. Pop up club in the courtyard making it very noisy. Street noise is a lot louder than most places in this area. You can literally hear people conversation on the side walk with windows closed. No sleep was accomplished.

Night shift customer service is awful. My second night here I was not able to get any sleep due to what the receptionist called a 'roof top' party. I asked her if she could do anything about the noise and she said no, but the way she said no was like she couldn't care less. She was very dismissive and cold, and didn't try to hear out my concerns about the noise. In our room there were no chairs, and no closet to store clothing. Also the coffee here is NOT complimentary. Expect to pay anywhere between $4-$6 from anywhere to a simple black coffee to their other drinks on the menu. The only upside was when I was checking out the next morning and the receptionist asked how everything was. After I explained my experience to her, they managed to issue me a partial refund for my stay. That is the only reason why I am not giving a 1 star review. Overall, you are better off spending your money at a different hotel.

Stayed in 8th floor. Music on top floor team past 3AM. Called front desk, they would check with security & reply. Nothing. Very upset. Told them this AM. I expect some type of refund or reimbursement.Not happy as we got only 4 hour urs sleep

I stayed here for a week after a fire in my building and had a great experience. It’s not in the best area for tourists but for a local it’s fine. But the hotel is super clean, the staff couldn’t have been lovelier or kinder, and who can be mad at a coffee bar at the front desk? Now I have a place to recommend near my home. Thank you, Radio Hotel staff, for taking such good care of me and giving me and my two cats a safe place to lay our heads when it felt like the world was crashing down on them.

Stay at Radio Hotel! I absolutely adore this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone who is coming to the Manhattan area. Transportation by Subway or taxi / Uber is convenient and not particularly expensive. The subway trip is uncomplicated, in case you're a little timid about subways. The staff are fantastic all around. Twice, a staff member went out of her way to problem solve for me, creatively, making my visit considerably better. The rooms are colorful and designed thoughtfully, the beds are very comfortable, the lobby is bright and has very interesting art. The whole energy of the place makes you feel happy. I would say the best things about the hotel are the colorful, Cozy rooms and the Fantastic, helpful, and good looking staff members. You will not be disappointed if you stay at Radio Hotel!!

I was only there for one short stay (night) so I base my review largely on the fact that I sat at a near empty, small bar for nearly 15 minutes while staff ran back and forth getting and making drinks. There was one woman who was preparing a drink with a blow torch who was probably the bar tender, but not a friendly word from anyone. A simple "I'll we right with you" would have be huge.

The hotel is very clean and quiet. A bit far from most part of attractions, but you can easily reach central Park or lower Manhattan in basically 30 minutes by tube. Metro station is just 200 mt. from the Hotel.

I selected Radio Hotel because it was the only decent-looking hotel in Manhattan at a reasonable price that day. Location was much farther uptown than I've ever stayed so I was a little hesitant, but ultimately the reviews were positive, so I went for it. Hotel itself is quite lovely. An old building that's been retrofitted into a cool modern hotel. Typical of Manhattan, my room was tiny, but served my purpose. Service was friendly and helpful. The resort fee that's required and only gets you watered-down cocktails or a cheap beverage from the cooler is frustrating but becoming the norm nowadays for hotels. The location is GREAT for someone that's driving INTO the city but doesn't want to drive AROUND the city. Coming in on the George Washington Bridge and taking the Cross Bronx Expressway you can exit very close to the hotel and the on-ramp to get back on the expressway is literally across the street from the hotel. Easy in and easy out. Secure parking garage just around the corner. The subway is a couple of blocks away, but it's a perfectly fine walk. Just plan a long time if you're trying to get to Midtown because of how far North it is. Probably wouldn't be my first choice to stay at again because of how disconnected it is from Midtown, but certainly no regrets. If it was the best option, I would have no hesitation to stay here again.

Stayed here for World Series Game 5. Convenience to the stadium and subway was great. It was just a single subway from Penn Station and then a couple block walk. Then a bus that goes to the corner is a straight shot to the stadium. Thanks to the hotel staff for letting us know about the bus. With traffic, I'm sure an Uber would have taken longer and cost 10x. Restaurant was a nice classy experience for right before the game. I definitely would go back if in town for a game.

Although Radio hotel is way uptown away from most of the sights, it’s easy to get an Uber from here. It’s clean and affordable. The buffet breakfast was terrible but the coffee in reception is good.

Everything was good until we went to have dinner at 9:30 in the restaurant. We were told they close at 11. They would not seat us at 9:30 and said we were misinformed. They close at 10… still 9:30 was too late to be seated??? We had to walk in 30 degree windy weather to find food.

Room was clean and good for a night stay. Bed was not the most comfortable but acceptable. This hotel is on a very business street and intersection so better to stay in a higher floor. Defective light switch, refrigerator light. Water leaked out of the shower and into the entry way of the room. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Free drink coupons for the bar but drinks were very weak (more like kool-aid).

Jalao restaurant is amazing. Great drinks and great food! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location was convenient for what we needed. Only slight inconvenience was our keycards randomly stopped working on day 2 of our stay but the front desk fixed them quickly so not a major issue at all.

It is on a very busy location for pickup and drop off. Walk up a somewhat steep hill to where we wanted to go, Fort Washington area. But overall nice property. Nice vib. Staff very nice and professional. We were disappointed the restaurant/bar were closed when there. But there was good coffee, pastries, and snacks in the lobby.
