The amenities of activities were incredible. Their pool and hot tub had a resort-like feel with their white chairs, pool towel service and ability to order food poolside. The tennis court area was well manicured and no cracks in the court. It felt like you were playing in a mini stadium with the rooms going up 4 stories all around you. We had such a fun time enjoying ourselves at both places

The main reason I chose Holiday Inn was because they have free parking. The parking lot was also fenced and the flow of traffic entering and leaving was controlled. I was really happy about that. The staff was very friendly and professional. The room was clean and spacious. I could tell that the hotel wasn't brand new but it was well kept and in really good condition. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We checked in late, had a quick (expensive) cocktail at the lobby bar, showered and crawled into bed. When I woke up the next morning, I noticed there were blood stains on the top sheet of my bed. I WAS NOT FROM ME! I hadn't noticed them the night before but if I had, I would have requested a different room. Upon check out, I informed the manager of the problem. I had taken pictures for proof. Because we had booked through Expedia, she was unable to give me a total refund. She did refund part of my bill related to surcharge or something. I felt that I should have been better compensated for the health hazard and uncleanliness of my bed.

So the whole place was amazing but the porches were so dirty and full of cobwebs and needed cleaned daily was very disappointed the whole place was clean we had to clean the porch to use it so for that I can’t even give a good review and may never stay there again or refer anyone to there till something gets better

Hotel is an older property but is well maintained. Bloom checked us in and she was professional and very accommodating. She asked for our preference of what side of property we preferred and I told her to pick. She gave us a room overlooking the courtyard, the river and bridge! It was amazing.

This place was a great deal and has a lot of amenities to have a relaxing vacation. The A/C for the room was very weak and we had a room on the freeway side, so there was some noise. Other than that it was a great hotel.

Location along the Columbia River and large dining area were positives. Portland airport jets fly directly overhead on takeoff, very loud. Also, extremely loud military fighter jets flew directly overhead at 8am both mornings we were there. Only coffee available other than in the rooms was the 'Coffee Bar' at $8 per cup.

Restaurant is absolutely terrible for all occasions…morning coffee, breakfast, dinner. Don’t waste your time. The servers ALL act like they’re wasting their life there and getting a smile is impossible. Additionally the food is terrible. The front desk staff however is exceptionally accommodating and the pool is wonderful (unless you’re there during a Saturday little league championship ). Additionally, I find this baffling but directly behind the pool, instead of Monetizing this valuable space it is filled with trash and deliveries and you can smell it every time you walk to the lobby on the outside deck. If I were them I would move the trash and create a platform for the restaurant and fire everyone and get a new hiring manager who knows how to hire people with restaurant experience.

This is not your run of the mill Hotel. It is a well loved and very clean older building brimming with character and spacious halls that many newer places lack. Excellent river views, spacious grounds and many amenities. The property is truly huge! The traffic on the I-5 and from PDX creates some noise yet the balance is its convenient location to both. We enjoyed a walk on the river path and the nearby floating Island Cafe for a unique river dining experience.

Disappointed with our stay. Booked the room through Hotels.Com...when we got to the hotel they said it did not include breakfast (as it had said when we booked). They would not honor the booking with breakfast included. We also had a barking dog in the room next door (both evenings). Heat did not work in our room and had to put on layers to sleep. The room and entire building looked well worn and tired. The view of the river was beautiful out our window despite the windows looking like they hadn't been cleaned for months.

Staff was very nice. Spacious lobby and restaurant. Room was clean. Love the location - a hop skip over the bridge to Vancouver riverfront. The buildings are older and weathered a little, but it's right on the water and feels nice.
