Residence Inn by Marriott Paris Charles de Gaulle Central Airport

Very comfortable room for us as three family members traveling together. The location right within the airport system (accessible by the free CDGVAL train from any of the three terminals) was very convenient, especially for meeting up from two different parts of the world, with flights arriving and departing at different times. (And the CDGVAL also connected us to the full Paris train system…around $25 roundtrip to Central Paris.) We stayed at the Residence Inn CDG one night at the beginning of our trip to rural France, and again at the end before departing. Breakfasts were wonderful – French pastries, cheeses, breads, fruits, meats and savories, quiche, yogurts, and more. We also appreciated their flexible hospitality as an airport hotel, letting us work in their well-appointed and comfortable lobby before check-in and after check-out times, while kindly holding our luggage and giving us access to the espresso maker. The only design negatives: 1) that the suite bathroom requires entering the master bedroom, which might make the person on the sofa bed reluctant to use it, and 2) the step down from the bath/shower to the bathroom floor was also a little bit high. I will mention that our first night I was pleasantly stunned to realize that when I looked out the window of our suite I could see a Concorde – there’s one on display at Charles de Gaulle that was visible from that particular angle.

The fire alarm went off twice in 4 days. I hope that has been fixed. We had to go outside— once in the middle of the night and once during breakfast the day we left. This was unfortunate and difficult. They assured us when we left it had been fixed. Also -nice to have washing machines but dryers were slow in drying clothes. Great staff and very good food. Terrific buffet breakfast -good hours starting at 6:00.

The staff was super friendly. Check in was easy. Very convenient to the airport. The shuttle service was non existent but it was an easy walk to the terminal entrance. We were told the shuttle comes every hour on the half hour so we waited from 6:20am until 6:40 and no shuttle came. But other than that the room was very clean and nice and had every amenity we needed. There was a nice outdoor gym area and indoor gym but we didn't have time to use it. Breakfast was included and had a lot of great options. Dinner was also very good and the drinks were decent

Room was very nice. Lots of space and room for spreading out for final packing on last night in France. The overall design was a bit too much fashion over functionality. You had to almost sit on the toilet paper roll. Kitchen sink and shower floor were basically flat, which does not result in fast or thorough draining. Restaurant and bar were quite relaxing, and the food was great. Staff very helpful. Free shuttle to airport was convenient enough.

This hotel was clean, quiet, and professional, perfect for one night before flying out of CDG. Our suite-style room was perfect for friends traveling together. The breakfast offered a large spread and delicious foods. They also let us store our bags before we could check-in. There isn’t much around the hotel to do, but it’s a quick easy walk to the CDGVal (train shuttle) which can take you to the airport terminal and/or train into Paris. They also offer a van shuttle for 8 Euros.

Great hotel, great location near hotel and easy commute into central Paris on train if required. Great secure parking too underneath hotel at a reasonable cost.

More difficult than I thought it would be to access from airport. Fewer services than I expected (I’m told Marriott intends Residence to be that way. Attached Courtyard was more hotel-like.) Room clean and efficient, bed fabulous. Pay-for shuttle hourly to (but not from) airport. Went to INNside for dinner. More inviting common spaces there.

Nice breakfast, nice staff, and clean facilities. Close to the train station and the hotel offers luggage storage if needed.

Both the sink and the shower were clogged, which made the facilities unusable and caused significant inconvenience during my stay

Cleaning staff barely wanted to clean the room. They’d only bring towels. When urged to clean, they had a ln attitude. Breakfast food was the same thing everyday. No changes. It got depressing after day 3.

It was so convenient to go to the airport. Facility is very clean, comfortable and staff were very kind and nice.

Room was spotless,the kitchen was very modern with everything you need to cook a meal. Bed was comfortable ,bathroom was large. Only thing the shower was over a bath and the bath was very high so elderly ,short or limited Mobility would struggle. Room was not well lit even with all the lights on and the path from airport to the hotel was exposed to the elements outside so we had lots of luggage and it was cold and windy. Some parts was also under cover but can’t help the wind and rain at times. I would stay again if I needed the kitchen.

La chambre qui m'avait été attribuée n'avait pas été nettoyée (le lit était défait et des serviettes de toilette se trouvaient sur le sol de la salle de bains). J'ai donc prévenu la réception qui m'a attribué immédiatement une nouvelle chambre, propre cette fois. Cependant, étant donné que j'étais arrivée tard le soir, ce petit contretemps s'est avéré assez contrariant. Pour un hôtel de cette catégorie (4 étoiles), et vu le tarif, j'ai trouvé cela curieux.

Stayed at the airport on the last day of a Paris trip. This worked out well both because it is less than half the price of our Paris Hotel and very close to the terminals. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the airport shuttle train takes you to any of the terminals and the RER B train from Paris. The rooms are of very good quality with lots of room and a very nice bathroom and bed. Where this hotel falls short of the 4* and 5* Paris hotels is: 1) You can not adjust the temperature with the thermostat in the room, only fan speed. I was cold and there were no extra blankets. 2) Breakfast had a large selection of good quality food but was average to below average because of the lower quality of the baked goods; lack of fresh OJ (what they had was terrible), and fair quality of the few cooked foods available. Still a better breakfast than what you would see in a Residence Inn in the USA. Overall an excellent choice for a last night in Paris.

Great transit stop at CDG. Very new and clean facilities - super comfy bed - especially after traveling for 30 hours. Easy to get to using CDVAL from terminal 1. Shower was the only issue as very slippery (step into bath) and hard to control temperature, but didn’t detract from stay.

Comfortable bed. Daily house keeping refresh. fully equipped kitchen. spacious. plenty of closet space. Breakfast was delicious many hot and cold items to choose from. easy walk to VAL train for airport access and to connect with trains to Paris via RER B. Bus stop across road. We used this as our base to visit surrounding areas and central sites with a purchase of a Visite card all transportation is included even back and forth to airport area.

Very nice accommodations and staff went above and beyond at every turn, even during a busy holiday week. Huge rooms. Comfortable bed and bedding. Nice bathroom. Good breakfast with expansive choices. Great for airport-centric stay.

Let them know we needed a crib at booking then emailed them the morning before our arrival reminding them we need a crib setup in our room because we were arriving late with an infant. The emailed back confirming this. We got to the hotel and the crib was not in our room.

The restaurant staff were amazing. Excellent service they were very attentive and always joyful and happy to serve specially Johsua and Vimesh. The hotel was clean, rooms were excellent. Breakfast had many options. Great place to stay.

We stay at Marriott all over. I rated this okay bc of two things. 1. The service was horrible. We arrived late in the evening by train. And the major reason I picked Marriott over Sheridan is that it said in the ad that it was connected to the airport tram & to my surprise it wasn’t so we got dumped out 3 parking lots away & walked in freezing cold dim lit lots. I was upset bc your ads are VERY MISLEADING. When I challenge the VERY YOUNG GIRL about it (she didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing) she responded by said the hotel is connected to the tram it brings you here and then you get out and walk here. Sorry Karen you are wrong! You are not connected to the airport! The airport is a 10+ minute Uber drive away on the other side of the freeway!!! It doesn’t touch the tram system in anyway! That ad needs to be fixed. The single women ahead of us and the people behind us were all very confused and upset. ALSO, YOU NEED DIRECTION SIGNAGE! Bc when you walk out the airport door it locks and you can’t get back in! It’s dark and can be dangerous and it’s dimly lit. 2. The next morning the front desk gal was talking with a friend who came to visit her and very rude to my husband. Not sure what that was about. We are Americans not sure,,,, We were glad to leave. It was a nightmare and I woke up sick from walking 3 parking lots in the middle of the night. Never again. Definitely not USA Marriott standards,

Extremely poor service had to wait 45 minutes to check in as there was no staff at the reception and no one to answer the phones etc

The receptionist at the front desk was rude and not helpful with information for a shuttle to the airport. Made a terrible first impression. Unpleasant, unhappy never gave a single smile!

That Marriott, Residence Inn branch is amazing. The staff is welcoming and courteous. Anastasia at the reception (forgive me for missing the correct spelling of the name) is invaluable, courteous, and respectful. In the restaurant, the staff works tirelessly to meet everyone's needs. The experience was just extraordinary. I have booked my next stay with them and will make it my home whenever I am around Charles de Gaules, Paris.

I was really worried about whether we could find this, based on reviews because it is not clearly marked at the airport (in fact, there is only info for the Marriott Courtyard). People made it sound like insane walking at the airport and upon leaving the airport. You just take the CDGVAL tram to parking 3 (which could have a better name as the stop for so many hotels). You will not be sure this is correct, but as soon as you get off, you will see several hotels off to your left. The reviews on this were all over the place, but I'm going to go with 300 yards. It is an easy walk on paved paths, but in the rain and cold and dark, it seems pretty bad. In the morning, it was shorter :) The breakfast buffet is EXCELLENT. This is not your typical crappy hotel buffet. Restaurant food was fine for dinner and staff was happy to open a bottle of wine we had with us when we had no corkscrew.

Location was not the best. We had to take uber or walk to "shuttle/train" wherever we wanted to go whether it was a terminal or go somewhere for food or shop.

Comfortable and convenient hotel at CDG before an early morning flight. The room was spacious and clean. The included breakfast started early and was very good, with many options. Hotel is a 2 min walk to the free CDGVAL tram which takes you to your terminal (Station is 'Parking PR').

Nice access to the airport but very far from center of Paris and nothing around the area to do as a tourist.

I didn’t like that it was so far from everything. I wish I’d stayed somewhere closer! The breakfasts were outstanding.

Only issue was finding the hotel from the Paris CDG TERMINAL. Scant signage and name of hotel not listed on some boards. Used GPS in the end.

Restaurant only opened for certain hours so getting somewhere to eat in the area is difficult. The hotel has a area where you can purchase limited food items. Comfort is expected from American style hotel. Driveway very narrow and interconnects with adjacent Courtyard hotel. Need a designated area for parking with registering and unloading.

This is a lovely and quiet accommodation! Just perfect for an overnight at CDG. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! However, Very pricey food and drinks in their restaurant.

Wonderful hotel; best breakfast buffet I’ve ever had, bar none. Freshly baked bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, cheese, fresh fruit, good coffee! C’est magnifique!

We had a quiet stay here. The hotel is a short ride from the airport on the airport shuttle train to the Parking PR stop. We were able to make so many connections to different places from the airport. The breakfast was good and the hotel is very clean. The restaurant at the hotel closes at 10pm and nowhere in the area to eat after 10pm.

The location allowed us to stay near CDG so the rental car return was convenient and the trip to the airport was short. The room was nice — an outside room with pullout couch and a bedroom which was good for our party of 3. There was a kitchen which we didn’t use due to our overnight stay but it was well equipped. Everyone seemed to eat at the restaurant as little else was around except other similar hotels. The food was average.
