Doubletree by Hilton Chattanooga Hamilton Place

The location was great. The room was pretty clean, but the common areas were rough. Both treadmills broke. One of the two elevators was broken. The ice machine was broken. The list goes on.

WARNING!!!! Breakfast Buffett is not included like every other hotel. It is $16 per person for pre cooked foods. Also the swimming pool area is unpleasant. (Loud & hot) Wished we would have booked hotel downtown for the same price that included breakfast

Everything has old smelly carpet. The hallway on floor five had a musty odor and the room was humid and had a funky smell. The A/C blew cold air directly on one of the beds, making it very cold while the rest of the room was warm. The gym was tiny, no room to do anything

Pool was perfect for the family after a long day of exploring the TN Aquarium. Room was excellent. Parking is meh.

I probably spend between 30 and 40 nights a year in a hotel and this was a pretty pitiful experience. We had one clean towel in the room after checkin (a dirty one was on the floor under the vanity from the previous guest), stinkbugs in the room, TV didn't really work (every five minutes it would pixelate and shut down and you'd have to restart/reboot), there were towels laying around in the hall that were dirty after room service had come through for the day, slippery/wet floors in the main hallway (from kids in the indoor pool) and in the elevators, Shower floor was so slippery, my 14-year-old son fell when taking a shower. I love a nice luxury hotel like anyone else, but this didn't even meet basic standards of a discount brand with the price posted out front in neon lights.. To add fuel to the fire, it was $233.57 with tax. In suburban Chattanooga.

Beautiful property wouldve given full stars if it wasnt for the bed bugs…DO NOT COME HERE!!!! BED BUG INFESTATION LEFT ME AND MY BOYFRIEND WITH BITES EVERYWHERE!!! DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE BIT ALL OVER!!

It was a very clean hotel.

This hotel was very clean, had comfortable beds, good AC control, and was updated. Felt like we’re staying in a brand new hotel. The employees were also very friendly!

The price was fair for what you get. It was pretty dirty in the room, when I reached to open the blinds, my hand was caught in a huge spider web. Bathroom lights were dusty like they have never been dusted before. Hotel cleaners looked like they were drug users. Hotel smelled pretty unpleasant upon walking in.

STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK. This place is repulsive. There is a bed bug infestation that the workers fully know about. I woke up with bites and presented a live bug to the staff and their response, “I know we have a bed bug infestation.” This place is awful, never stay here. There is an additional infestation of ladybugs all over the rooms, ceilings, windows and beds. There is signage in the lobby warning you of the ladybugs. Maybe they should be just as transparent about the bed bugs. Lastly, it has been a fight to get a refund for my stay.

I've never really had a bad stay at a Doubletree, and this was no exception. The hotel and room was beautiful and clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and the room was dark. Best night's sleep we've had in a while. The shower was wonderful too. 10 out of 10 in my opinion. I will definitely stay here again!

Not impressed for a Hilton. We enjoyed our holiday inn stays better during this travel vacation. Rooms were small, beds seemed worn. Small bathrooms.

Nice hotel! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and the shower was heavenly!! Stayed here for a week as I had business in the area. Dislikes: It appears you only get a microwave with a suite, wish all rooms had a microwave to heat food without having to go down to the lobby. Wi-fi was horrible! I expected better connectivity being we were staying at a Hilton property. I've stayed at non brand name hotels with better wi-fi. I had to use the hot spot on my phone in order to work as the hotel wi-fi kept disconnecting. I hope Hilton figures out a way to fix this issue. Lastly, I was disappointed that Hilton did not offer complimentary breakfast for their guests. I travel a lot for work and try to stay at hotels that offer guests breakfast so I can have a bite while I work. Again, in other places I have stayed there was a complimentary breakfast buffet for guests. Disappointed that Hilton charged $12 for breakfast that wasn't any better than some of the free breakfasts offered at other hotels. Overall, great stay just think that Hilton could do better.

We almost always stay at Hilton based hotels and usually have a good stay. This was rather poor in meeting our needs and expectations. First, the bedroom is the smallest I have ever seen in my 50 years. My wife and I could not pass each other in walking across the room. (I am 6,3 210lbs and she is 5.2, and 135 lbs). The bath room is similarly small. Also I am disabled and the bath and shower has no safety grab bars. We asked for a room that had safety bars and they complied, The new room had a single sink in the bath with only 6" of counter space on each side, not enough for two peoples toiletries.. We gaveup and came home.

Room was very clean! King bed was super comfortable. TV was a pain...feed would break up every 15-20 seconds....horrible way to watch football and tennis. Front desk was very kind and helpful.

No ice machine No microwave

The AC units were loud. The sheets were terrible! The most uncomfortable rough sheets I have ever felt. The couch pull out mattress was the absolute worse thing i have ever seen. There was no padding. It was like laying directly on the springs. Besides that, staff was nice, room was clean.

I arrived early for a funeral but check-in is at 3pm. The staff at the front desk were so friendly and they checked me in right away, along with offering condolences. It was greatly appreciated.

We stayed at the hotel while visiting relatives nearby for a birthday celebration. We enjoyed our stay, and found all the hotel staff very helpful. After we checked out of our room and were on the way back home, we discovered we had left our laptop computer in the room. We called back and spoke to the desk clerk who immediately went to our room and found the laptop and was able to hold it and pass it on to our family member who brought it to us. We were beyond relieved to have our computer back, especially when we considered the mess that could have been, had we not gotten the computer back. We know this was above and beyond the normal duties of the clerk and we were so grateful.

Our room was very quiet. The staff was fantastic, especially Tony, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Staff was exceptional. I had just left another one of your partner hotels in Knoxville downtown. I was not happy with them. The staff in Chattanooga made my experience a completely different experience and I’m very satisfied for me and my family. I wish I knew the ladies name who checked us in she needs a raise!! Comfy beds as well!

Staff member, Tony, did everything to make our stay enjoyable. I’d definitely stay here again. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet.

Expedia canceled my trip cause I was 30 minutes late to check in and the staff did everything they could to make sure we had the same room that we had booked and went above and beyond for us getting us checked in

The property was great, but the staff was terrible. Especially the thin lady at the bar but she also worked the check in desk the second day I was there. She has a terrible attitude. I was told that dinner was over at 10 when I first checked in. We got in late but was told by the gentleman I could still order and I when I got to the bar/restaurant at 9:40 she did not want to serve me. Even the gentleman at the front desk has to apologize for her not serving us. She took a call outside of the restaurant and said “yea I just called the cook and he is done for the day” I had my 2 year old and we just wanted to grab something and go upstairs. I don’t think she really called anyone considering she had to step out so we couldn’t hear her. I was going to stay longer but decided to stay across the street because this lady was so rude and clearly doesn’t hates being there. I understand it was late 9:40 but if she would have had a better attitude our stay would have been so much better. The next day, I asked for a new key and when I got to my room it wasn’t active so of course I had to go back down and get a new one from her. At the time she was currently taking in someone else and she told that new guest that the restaurant was open until 10. So yea she just didn’t want to serve me and my daughter the previous day. She was very dismissive and was rude for no reason. Iv never stayed in a place where staff was like that. Very weird.

The building and rooms seemed to be clean and nice. The staff was incredibly unprofessional and rude. Hearing the front desk swearing that much was not appreciated. Also had to wait for him to get off the chair in the guest lounge and stop watching tv to come help me get checked in.

This hotel is our choice of stay when traveling. Location has great restaurants, the usual fast food joints.

Needed a walkway from one parking lot to the other!! Kinda of out of the way!! Hard to get to!

Was there to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday & the hotel was clean. Pictures didn’t do the property justice. Hotel top to bottom was well staffed & clean. Breakfast was 16.95 per person. Only downside was there’s so much to do when you visit you don’t get the chance to take advantage of all the amenities the hotel has to offer. We also were given complementary cookies when we arrived. Check in and check out through Expedia was smooth. Definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet was closed every day, but the server was amazing! She explained the situation and provided us with different options, so we had our breakfast with the voucher. She truly saved the day! Thank you!

I think the $16 dollar breakfast is a bit much seeing the cost of the rooms you got hotels like comforts Inn where complimentary breakfast is served but everything else was good service grest standards!

For the price I assumed there would be a continental breakfast included but an optional breakfast buffet was available to purchase.

Nice hotel at a good price. Decent bar/restaurant area although it closed for food service too early IMO. Lots of food options in the area though. Room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. Staff were friendly. Solid hotel stay overall.

The hotel itself and the location was good. The drive into Chattanooga was 20-30 minutes with traffic. The staff and the hotel itself were good. Room was clean, the walk in shower was fantastic, but the bed was too firm for me. The hotel patio was comfortable and quiet. The bar/lounge was convenient. Breakfast was good service, just too expensive. I walked 3-4 minutes to the Waffle House the first day.
