The room was much smaller than pictured online, and the ventilation was poor, which led to both of us getting sick. Similarly, the air conditioning was not very cool, a huge disadvantage throughout the heatwave during our stay. The sink had poor drainage and lastly, the wait time for the elevators was on average very long due to only having 2 elevators servicing 26 floors. The staff were okay but overall I won’t be booking again as this was definitely not worth the exorbitant pricing.

I enjoyed the general access to lower Manhattan, plenty of nice shops within a five to ten minute walk. It has a gym but not much equipment useful to weightlifting. Friendly and accommodating staff. Ice machines in the cellar with washing machines with cheap enough soap for purchase (I didn't use). The only two issues I had with my room was the sink wasn't draining very quickly and the seal on the lower edge of the shower door was gone so some water would leak out. Overall, decent enough if you're just looking for a place to stay in lower Manhattan, most of you time spent outside walking around.

Loved this hotels! The rooms were the perfect size. The staff were wonderful and all super kind with good mannerisms. The rooftop deck is AMAZING!! Will definitely be staying here again!

I was so excited to take my wife to NY for the first time and everything went left from check in. The garage attached to hotel was super expensive and because we rented a Zipcar, there was no key and the attendant refused to use the phone to retrieve the car. Parking on the street was available but the signs are confusing to tourist. A hotel employee showed me the signs but failed to mention there was a parking meter with specific zones in NYC. So I received a $65 ticket. Then I splurged for the city view room only to find out a building was being build on the city view side of the hotel, so really, it shouldn’t have been offered. The room was not at all how described and super tight. The terrace was closed and the bar was closed. Just overall not a great experience and I wish I could get my money back.

Fast/easy check-in/check-out, got 2 pure life water bottles when you check-in, water/ice machine is on cellar level. They have hot water and tea bags in the morning/throughout the day by the check in desk. They asked for $200 deposit (refundable) that wasn't mentioned on the expedia website. Hotel wasn't facing a busy street so it wasn't that busy/loud, as long as you have the window closed. Spilled something on the comforter and had to ask for another one around 9PM, but the phone was not working. Had to go downstairs and the front desk said the linen workers won't be here until 11PM, we waited but they didn't come until the morning. The new comforter that we got had a piece of hair and some black dirty stuff on it. There was something wrong with the shower door? The water would leak out when you're showering so a towel or 2 has to be on the floor by the shower door which gets soaked pretty fast since housekeeping comes every other day. The booking said there would be a city view, but we didn't really get that, maybe we weren't on a higher floor? The vent would throw air directly at you if you sleep on the side by the window/vent. The booking didn't mention there would be a mini fridge but the room we got had one which was nice. Gym was quite small, a few treadmills and weights. Free toiletries consists of bar soap and lotion. The body wash, shampoo, conditioner is in a big bottle.

The hotel itself was nice. The room felt very clean but was very tight. Understandable since it’s NYC but more space would have been nice. The heating did not work. It was very cold our first day and the heater was giving out cold air. There is carpet in part of the room which makes it feel outdated and dirty. I generally think all hotels should get rid of carpets for cleanliness and allergies. Our room was supposed to have a city view and it did not. We were directly in front of another building with no view what so ever. The gym was well equiped and a nice addition to have during our 5 day stay. But the wifi does not work in the gym which was inconvenient if you are using the internet to access a workout plan. As for the location - it’s close by to subway stations but if you’re planning to walk everywhere it is a little far from midtown and areas like SoHo. We were okay with the 40min to 1h30 walks but it’s something to consider if you want to be walking distances from the center of Manhattan. Very close to the Brooklyn bridge! The area gets very quiet at night. Not sure if it’s the same in the summer (we were there in February). Felt a little unsafe because it was so quiet and there were not many people walking around but during the day it is very busy and safe!

The property is in the head of downtown/financial district. The only Downside is the parking which will cost you $60 each time you take the car out of the private parking garage. Don’t forget to validate the parking ticket at reception else the parking charge is $120 each time you take the car out.

Only one elevator worked for 20+ people standing and waiting. To a point where some were trying to squeeze on beyond capacity limits.

There were mosquitoes in the room!!

Convenient location, room had some cleanliness issues but otherwise ok.

The area was great! However, the hotel was dirty. The linen the towels all dirty with stains. The carpet was filthy. Odor throughout. Very disappointed, overall.

Everything was good but washcloths were stained and I didn’t have conditioner.

Terrible customer service. Since the day we checked in, we had problems with the bathroom (terrible smell, pink mold, no housekeeping, not enough towels) they didn’t even bother to go and check it. I complained every night I was trying to shower, because the smell was super bad and also the shower head and the tub had pink mold and they did not clean it. First day they told me they were going to “deep clean it” never happened. We have to shower on our friend’s room because we did not want to use that bathroom. Every night I would go and complain they would say the same thing “we will make note and make this better with the manager” “we do not have more rooms to move you into a new one” “we will deep clean it” “manager will contact you” no manager ever contacted us and no issue was ever resolved. Very disappointed on this hotel.

Awful property, dirty, bed bugs. No parking!

It was my first time to get housekeeping every other day. Dirty and not clean. I won’t never stay here.

Fabian was super nice and helpful before I checked-in and during check-in. The room was spotless and very clean.You can tell the hotel is well-maintained. My room was is quiet and perfect.

Overall this hotel doesn’t not match it's name or price point. The rooms are very small, the shower doors are built poorly and don’t stop water from getting out. The walls are VERY thin. You can hear everything around you. The elevators are small and slow. There is no ramp to get into the hotel so you do have to carry your bags up some stairs. The pillows are very bad! And finding info regarding the hotel is hard. Like where amenities are located. You are also unable to reserve parking so if the lot is full you are out of luck, it would be nice if you can reserve a spot upon booking so help have a smooth trip.

We enjoyed our stay. Pros: close to wall st, seaport. Secure luggage stowaway area to place luggage before check in. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Issue with our safe which was corrected immediately. Cons: room was small. Our room was right next to the elevator so we heard the coming and going of people.

Terrible place across the board. Thermostat didn’t work and they offered extra bedding as a resolve to it being 56 degrees in Oct. I was freezing and they couldn’t move me or fix it! Service was awful and the whole place smells like fried food bc of the restaurant on the first floor. Gross

Clean, modern but limited space if there are 4 people with luggage in the room.

All good, no complaints. Small room with comfortable double beds, quiet enough area to not be bothered by police sirens all night long. Clean and tidy. Reasonably priced for New York.

When we arrived at the property, around 3pm, there was a long line of people to check in. Someone who was still 15 parties from checking in told us that they had been waiting for 30 minutes. There were only two people checking people in. We couldn't wait, and there wasn't anyone to check our backpack. At 4:45, we managed to check in "only" 20 minutes. The person checking us in was nice but obviously harried. Other than that, the room was nice by Manhattan standards; the elevators were quite slow, and from the street, the hotel didn't look very inviting.

The staff left a little to be desired. Had just left a Marriott in DC and any request made, and concerns that my family had were addressed immediately, despite the size of that hotel, and that it had a huge anime conference taking place. I never had to wait for anything. The Courtyard was a different experience. We had to call twice in order for the room to be cleaned. When cleaning staff did come, they just came with towels, and did not make the bed, or leave wash clothes, and toilet paper. We had to call again, at 10 pm, to ask for toilet paper and wash clothes. Just disappointing… These are basic components of room service, especially service that you only get every other day. Most importantly, whenever we asked for something, staff acted as though it was an imposition. This was off-putting.

Despite the payment being due upon arrival, they tried to charge my credit card while I was on the flight to NY. The payment didn't go through for some reason and they cancelled my booking. So we arrived late at night in New York City to suddenly discover that we didn't have a reserved room and not even an available one to book because in the meantime they sold our room to another guest. The staff at reception didn't care at all about the situation they created and they did nothing to help us.

Manhattan at an affordable weekend price! How unique.

I’ve booked multiple stays with this hotel and have always had a pretty good experience. However the staff on the late night shift around 12:00am, spoke to me in a condescending tone when I asked her to extend my stay. Her lack of professionalism in the manner in which she spoke was unnecessary and shocking. Such employees weaken the establishment. After the experience I chose to leave the hotel and stay elsewhere. The staff that helped me during check-in at 3pm gave great customer service.

This was my second NYC trip. My first trip was okay but not knowing how things really go in NYC, the hotel I chose was a solid 2/5 and we had to walk through several groups of potentially less than reputable people.That hotel also had nothing to offer for food or drink options neither on site nor near by and most of the staff were rather rude. It was dirty, loud, and overpriced. Courtyard was not only slightly less expensive, but was clean, quiet, staff was polite and helpful and it was near by many great places grab food or drinks, transportation, it was clean, comfortable and just a wonderful option. Im not sure I have ever left a hotel more satisfied than I did when we checked out. We will be back in December.

Booked this hotel for a last min trip and it was amazing, definitely 10 out of 10. The room was clean and nice. Bed VERY comfortable. The hotel staff was also kind and professional. Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great location very clean area and close to just about everything.

Loved my stay! Great location, nearby shops and sites. Room was cute, clean and cozy.

Walking distance from the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, Raging Bull, WTC Memorial, etc. Lots of dining locations nearby; be sure to check out the Pearl Diner just opposite for great breakfast offerings.

Hotel is close to the Seaport and has many dining options nearby. Subway stations are close by as well.

Had a bit of a wait to get checked in despite 2 Front Desk employees doing it. There's a lot of construction going on. Some areas around property are a bit dirty. The room is quite tight.

What I didn't like is the Chinese restaurant on the third floor, the breakfast was lousy and expensive, and I don't recommend it, don't even go there.

Very clean option away from Times Square. Liked the area and felt safe most of the time. Had some quaint dining options and a nice market nearby. Highly recommend!

Free breakfast is not there

Very good hotel and the staff are attentive to help you before you ask them questions. The location is great, many good restaurants around and public transportations as well. It is safe and convenient. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet for $18 tips which is around $25. The breakfast is awful. I do not recommend. Poor quality food and options. In addition, the hotel has two towers with over 25 floors. Each tower have two elevators only. I took sometimes 10 minutes waiting for an elevator that I could fit in to go down to the lobby.

It was in a good location. Our room was nice but we didn't have clean towels our second night. It took over an hour to get the towels despite our frequent calling. Breakfast was supposed to be included but when we got there they said it wasn't. They charged us $20 each for a typically free breakfast of waffles and cereal etc. Then our friends arrived and they'd breakfast was included. Seems a little shady.

It was very clean, updated, and fresh. Loved the bathroom! The staff was very friendly and helpful; and the breakfast buffet had a good selection of hot and cold breakfasts, and even if we came toward the end they didn't run out. The location was good for what we were doing, but it's not a great area for just strolling around, shopping etc.

This property was okay. It took a long time to get towels (more than 12 hours and three trips to the front desk), the restaurant was closed for remodeling. The front desk and check-in was a little chaotic

The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable and staff very nice. I would say to extend breakfast hours and hotel bar to later times.
