Door was flimsy. Pool was advertised ridiculously with wide angle lens photo. It’s more of a plunge/dip to cool off in than a pool to swim. Tv was impossible to figure out or turn on.

La ubicación muy buena, pero no hay parqueo en el hotel, está detrás de este, llegamos de noche y estaba lloviendo, tuvimos que caminar bajo la lluvia una cuadra, eso fue muy incómodo, solo por eso no volveríamos, menos con niños. La habitación no tenía aire acondicionado, a pesar de que en la reserva ofrecian aire y ventilador de techo, solo estaba este último, si estaba limpia y los paños huelen muy rico. El desayuno incluido estaba bien. El servicio del personal muy bien.

This Hotel has a parking área close by. In front of this hôtel, they have an excellent Argentine restaurant. It lack an elevator so if you have leg issues ask in advance for a first floor room. The personnel is excellent and helpful.

The hotel reminds me something you would find in Morocco as it had that kind of architect. The hotel was in a convenient area that was walk-able to the most visited areas. Pool was in a weird spot where if people were dining, you would be looked at and we didn´t see anyone use it. Their hot tub in it was broken. I would suggest they should just renovate it and just make it into a sitting area with plants and flowers. Rooms were clean but there are no elevators so it would be difficult for those that have issues with stairs. They do have a very small quaint restaurant by the pool but we went out for dinner during our two night stay. Staff were very friendly. Thank you for the hospitality.

Breakfast was a highlight, with an array of fresh fruits, gallo pinto, and scrambled eggs. Our room (35) had an exceedingly small bathroom and had windows facing the street, though noise was not bad. Our television did not work, but the bed was comfortable enough.

Be aware, it is an old hotel so only stairs (consider for luggage carrying purposes). Our first room would not lock due to a key being broken off into the lock but they were quick and accommodating and got us in another room.

Very clean hotel/room. Free breakfast that consisted of: gallo pinto (yummy), fried banana (sooo good), scambled/boiled eggs, sausages, fruit, cereal, bread, yogurt etc. It was all very yummy. Everyone was very hospitable! Would return.

No idea how this place even has an 8 score on here. In costa rica for a week with 4 different hotels throughout the country and this one by far the bad one. Lobby was cute but room was filthy. Old furniture that is scratched and beat up from the tables to the shelves. Super thin pillows and toilet paper. Walls had huge stains all over them. Nothing like the photos. Also the room doesnt seem to have AC, i turned it down to 20 and it never got cool, woke up in the middle of the night sweaty. I stood on the bed to feel the smallest trickle of air come out of a single vent. We went to take a shower and no hot water. Called front desk and they said they would check on the boiler, then a callback 5 minutes later they tell us its broken and there wont be any hot water. The breakfast was above my expectstions and thats because the night before was so bad i expected it to be on par eith the room. Would not recommend this place, and I've stayed all over latin america in all different kinds of hotels and hostels. This one not worth it in my opinion.

The hotel service was not good. The pictures that are shown on the site do not reflect the actual property. Also, the hotel is a 3 start but everything provided in the room is more like a 2 star. We had a flooding from the shower and the price for 1 night is expensive considering they do not provide you with anything (besides towels and hand soap). The hotel needs to upgrade their rooms and service for the prices they charge per night/room.

El área donde se encuentra este hotel es un área donde hay mucho deambulante , me sentí un poco insegura en el área más que viajaba con mis hijos. Las paredes del cuarto se encontraban en mal estado y las camas ya están de cambiar. Había mucho olor a humedad en el cuarto. Entiendo el concepto vintage a la estructura pero deberían mejorar las condiciones de la habitación. El trato del personal fue amable.
