This place advertised a pool but the pool was completely green with caution tape around it the first few days. The rest of the days of my vacation the pool was empty filling up with chemicals. My host didn’t offer no alternatives or any kind of compensation. Also, I left the room very clean and organized before leaving but I ended up forgetting one draw full of brand new clothes. I reached out to see if they could send the clothes through the mail and no answer.

POOL IS CLOSED! staff isnt helpful, Check in took forever. Valet parking is all they offer and it takes a while unless you tip them big or be prepared to wait. Its not trust worthy!! They brought me the wrong car once and didnt check to see if i was the actual owner. The AC in the apt was very noisy! Could not sleep with it on. PROS:We got a city view which was nice, beach access is convenient. kitchenett came in handy with the basics

Checking in was very confusing and the valet had no idea about getting bags from car to room. Only said the front desk could help which was a flight of stairs up. After carrying bags to upsteps to the Main Lobby we found a luggage cart but were required to leave our Government ID until we returned the cart. We were rushed off and left things in the car. No ice? Wanted us to pay 3.50 for 7 pound of ice and would not take a credit card for less than $10.00 No ice bucket. Few of the staff could speak English that I could follow. Pool was not in operation during our two day stay. The room was old, extremely small and not well maintained. Most outlets were so old the phone chargers would not even stay in the plug.

I stayed here May 25-May 28 to celebrate my birthday. I’ve stayed at this location a few times before and have never had a problem. I enjoy the beach access and pool, but this time the pool was closed for construction. This was upsetting to find out because I was not told until the day before my reservation. One of the main reasons for my stay was the pool access. Had I been informed sooner that there was no pool access during this time, I would have chosen another location. By the time I was told I was unable to cancel my reservation. The lack of transparency was disappointing.

The pool didn’t work and I can’t get in the ocean so I could not enjoy my trip and I booked for a whole week. There was no spa and the gym was closed as well. They did not provide housekeeping as stated when I booked. They didn’t provide extra towels or swap them out, they made us wash our towels and wash clothes and we had to pay for the service as well. There was no one to help at the front desk.

Swimming Pool was closed for all 5 days we stay. It was summer vacation and Pool was part of Hotel amenities in website. Unit looks good on the picture. View from the window on the web picture turned out to be just a view from somewhere. Unit real view was to the big garbage area outside. Unit was outdated and required some repair. Closet under the staircase filled with old broken lights, bad beech cheers and boxes with old broken stuff. Stears carpet in the unit very old and dirty. First floor restroom does not have a single towel hook. No shower on the first floor. Second floor towel hooks falling down from the wall. Hotel location was very good. Beach was nice.

I like that they included the valet parking in their rental cost. Building is older and appears to need some updates, but they keep everything inside pretty clean. There is a restaurant on site, convenient store on main floor and easy access to the beach. It’s a beautiful area to walk the beach

The elevator was a "smart" elevator. Didn't always seem to be all that smart. Not timely. 90% of the time stairs were taken. Slowness of elevator is my only complaint. Positives: Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful! The restaurant service was always prompt has a great vibe. Location is great!

So this was my third year staying at Girasole suites and it was terrible. They changed my room at the last minute and it was disgusting. There was hair all over the room, all over the linen on the beds, the bathroom was disgusting and didn’t look cleaned plus extremely outdated from what i originally chose. I tried to call and they didn’t answer the phones, emailed twice and was ignored but they emailed me back from my email about early check in. I’m never coming back. The hotel elevators took 10-15 minutes every time we used them on the 14th floor. Ate at the restaurant inside the building and the food was horrible for two out of three of our meals. Ordered a steak and mashed potatoes, the steak was extremely chewing and thin, the mashed potatoes tasted exactly like instant mashed potatoes. The other meal was the mussel and shrimp pasta, there was 3 mussels missing out of the shells and the pasta was complete liquid. My other friend’s meal was the ravioli but it literally had 4 raviolis in it for $18. I will no longer be staying here. Worst experience I’ve ever had on vacation.

The listing is a complete scam. To start we waited in a mile long line for over 2 hours to valet the car in order to checkin. Front desk receptionist was incredibly rude as was everyone that worked there. The room was advertised as an ocean front room. It was not. There were "port" windows with a view of a wall. The room was dirty. There was mold in multiple places. The dishes had dried food on them. There were roaches around the kitchen area. The comforters had food stains and had not been washed. We had 3 wash rags for 4 people for 3 days. This room is privately owned and you do not have housekeeping or any other services provided front desk. We left feeling extremely scammed after spending a lot of money. 0/10 do not recommend. We booked through Expedia advertised as a 3 star venue. We reached out to Expedia and they were absolutely no help as well.

Not sure how this place is still open. The room was disgusting. The shower would fill up with water and the water was yellow. We specifically asked for extra towels weeks before checking in and received none. The front desk told us the only way to get extra was to contact our host who told us we had to go downstairs and wash them in the laundry room. The AC unit dripped water immediately upon arrival and never stopped despite us never opening the balcony door. There are no paper towels provided. The sheets had hair, sand and stains all over them. Horrible.

Arrived to find “body” hair in the shower, and globs of conditioner on the wall of the shower/tub, bathroom needs to be redone, shower head leaks at top and there is caulking everywhere and the tub is old and has chips. Floor felt like it had not been swept in forever, cabinets had water damage in kitchen and didn’t close properly, the floor looked nice, bed close to closet was comfortable but creaked every time you moved. Tv also turned green. I was finally able to reach someone, with great difficulty I might add and they did remove the hair but the reality is it should never have happened in the first place.

The shower appeared to need some touching up visually (some peeling paint, shower head leaking, etc.), and the “ocean view” advertised for our room was mostly overlooking the roof. However, aside from those two things, the room itself was great. A slight nitpick though - the soaps in the bathroom smelled like burning chemicals, almost like the type of chemical used in perms at hair salons. Outside the room, the property was very busy most times of the day, making the elevators and car valet services difficult to utilize without crowding and/or long waits. With that in mind, overall the stay was very good, especially for the price. The aforementioned hiccups should just be kept in mind if planning to stay here.

The rooms are old. The bathroom needs to be remodeled, the bathtub is so old. The bedroom was fine, but this time the room was in the back of the building with a long small window on the top of the wall looking to a roof and the ocean was a little bit in the view. Last year U had a beautiful view looking to the water canals of Collins Avenue. No this time. Awful.

The lobby was nice but not our room was not. (425) It was basically a closet next to the trash shoot. There is NO ocean view. The windows are up too high to look out and when you do it's just the roof. The bed broke and wasn't fixed until the next morning. Tub and floor was PAINTED and peeling. Very cheap and uncomfortable. Outlets for microwave didn't work. Elevators were a nightmare, check in was a nightmare. Security "didn't have my information" so I had to go to the realtor in the basement and beat on the door to which NO ONE answered. Took two hours to check in. The pool was nice but the tiki bar closed at 6pm every night. Restaurant wasn't open. Beach was very small and a straight drop down to the water. 5 ft in and your up to your neck. Not good for kids. There's no entertainment to walk too. If you wanted to go somewhere you had to deal with the valet parking. We basically stayed in our closet of a room all week.

Best thing about property is location to beach and Intercostal, 2 things that are really not great, 1) WiFi is bad , we were on 14th floor and it will drive u buggy! Doesn't come in steady in room or beach, 2) valet parking is a chore, so much so you wont want to use your rental car, especially around check out or check in times, hour wait for car!! I stayed at this hotel in 2015 and it was pretty good, this time 4/8/25 through 4/16/25 will def be my last time here. If you dont rent a car n need valet it would be ok but, have lots of data, my trac fone galaxy 21 ultra using verizon towers was awful. So thats up to you, lastly be sure to have ESP on anything related to hotel because there are no directions on anything and all is spanish , i had more people speak english in Mexico then this place. Peace out!

The worst service and reception at this hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 1pm and the check-in time was 3pm. I informed the host and asked if I could check in earlier. He said no. When the check-in time arrived, we waited 15 minutes for the reception to check our reservation and they informed us that there was no reservation for the rooms. So we had to contact the host and they asked for personal information and home address. We were only able to check into the rooms around 3:50pm. The reception was very rude and did not know how to treat customers well. The apartment was not completely clean, the refrigerator was dirty, the toilets were always clogged when flushed, the TV remote control did not work and we had to use our cell phone to use it as a remote control. The worst stay, however the location was good, but left something to be desired.

Great location on the beach. Check-in was much like boot camp orientation. Staff were rather rude, and all wore "Security" logo attire, although I'm guessing many have outstanding warrants. In the three days time I never received fresh towels and the temperament of front desk was pretty bad. Long lines and excessive waiting was the norm. Believe my check in was in excess of an hour, and could have been much quicker if competent people and processes were being conducted. If I was an investor of this property I would certainly want changes to be made as it relates to the minimum standard of the hospitality business. The car valet guys/gals work extremely hard and are the unsung heros, but the real failure of this place stems from the check-in process and lack of professionalism at the front desk. By the time I endured the long wait to the front desk I already had identified numerous ways to improve their process, which mirror other hotel operations instead of what feels like a criminal intake process for Miami-Dade. In fact, I'm betting their criminal intake process is friendlier. Notably, I later stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and found it to be a world of difference, with front desk staff actually being cordial and without the thug-like attitude. I seldom write negative reviews, but I would feel sorry for any family accidently booking this one. Just think of your worst third rate Vegas hotel....That's the easiest way to describe.

The front desk staff were not friendly, and the check-in process was confusing. They moved people around with no clear system, and even though I arrived just five minutes before 3 PM, they wouldn’t check me in. The room was old, worn out, and needs to be remodeled. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We booked for two nights. On the first evening when we arrived, we noticed that the hair dryer, the microwave, and several outlets weren’t working. So I called the front desk around 6:30 PM to let them know the hair dryer wasn’t working and that we would need one for the evening. The man on the phone said, ‘I’m sorry, ma’am, there’s no one working at this hour, so you’ll have to wait until tomorrow.’ I kindly replied that I needed a hair dryer that evening and that I didn’t mind coming down to the front desk to exchange mine for a working one. He replied again, ‘I’m sorry, ma’am, no one is working, you’ll have to wait until tomorrow.’ So I gave up on the hair dryer situation and we went out in Miami. We got back to the hotel at 1:00 AM and waited an hour and a half for valet parking!!!!!!! On Sunday morning, we woke up early to go to brunch, and this time we waited another hour for valet parking!! Later that day, we returned to drop off the car again—another hour-long wait just to drop it off. My husband even asked the valet staff if they needed help and also asked to speak to a manager. There was no manager at the hotel, and certainly not at 1:30 AM. This hotel is a disaster in every possible way. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

The experience at Girasole Apartment was beyond disappointing and completely disrupted my plans. Upon arrival, the valet lost my car keys, forcing us to wait hours for a locksmith, which threw off our entire schedule for the day. The inconvenience didn't stop there. At check-in, there was another delay because the staff had failed to inform the front desk of our reservation. When I finally made it to the apartment, I was horrified to find the bathroom filthy and the air conditioning unit leaking water all over the kitchen counter and floor. I had to place a towel on the floor, which was completely soaked through. As if that wasn't enough, there was alarm testing for three consecutive days, making it impossible for me to work. When I requested a refund to move to a different property, Girasole Apartment refused to let me leave, despite the numerous issues I faced. Eventually, I was moved to a new suite that didn’t have these problems, but the lack of an internet password caused further delays in my work. This entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I will never return to this place and will make sure others are aware of the terrible service provided.

Communication was nonexistent. Water pressure was low the entire stay. I asked for someone to come straighten the room and bring clean linens. They never came. The neighbors next door slammed the door all day and no one did a thing about it but I was threatened to turned the tv down or get fined. Also the AC barely worked so being in the room was super uncomfortable. The apt is in a building that is well kept and on the beach. If you have a car and don’t need to be in your room like that it’s great. Also the valet was amazing. Everyone was nice and always bought the car really fast

We were very disappointed with the management's attitude. We had zero minutes of early check-in. Upon entering the room, there was a strong smell of oil-based paint (we even found an empty paint can on the counter) and a large puddle of water on the floor from a leaking refrigerator. The response was to leave the room for someone from the maintenance team could turn on the odor-eliminating machine and "check" the refrigerator. We were waiting over 2 hours outside. Suggestions to provide different room, lower the price for the inconvenience, or ultimately, a late check-out were ignored. This was too much for our quick getaway.

I really loved staying at Girasole Suites!! If you are on a budget it’s the perfect place!!They have free valet parking!! It has a nice kitchenette all equipped!! It was comfortable and quiet!! Downstairs is a restaurant, pizza to grab, coffee, burgers!! There is no much around!! Only residences around but transportation was easy with bus!! Free trolley all the way to South Beach every 20min and runs until 11pm We took public bus as well!! Overall satisfied with our staying!! The staff was really nice and helpful!!

Excellent location. Walking downstairs directly to the beach and ocean front. Free valet parking is super convenient. Check in is easy and fast. Swimming pool is also convenient with super warm water. Facility is a bit outdated but everything is working. Restaurant and shops conveniently located on property. 20 minutes Uber to south beach. Room condition exactly as pictured, we booked 1532, amazing ocean view perfect for watching sunrise. 3 large double/queen bed, so spacious. Room decor contemporary and exactly as pictured. Room is decent clean. Provides both towel and beach towel. Room facilities could use some update, but working fine. Great value for this location with amazing ocean view. Would stay again next time.

The lobby looked nice, but the hallway to our room smelled of vomit and it lingered into our room, the rooms were dirty. Staff was subpar. Hotel restaurant closed an hour early and opened late (nowhere else to get food), service was terrible, food was mediocre at best.

It is a really great value, nice quiet area away from the noise of the city. The pool was bigger than in pictures with a fun little cabana bar and the beach is right outside of it which was really nice. Valet parking was great. The bathroom was really old and felt not as clean as it could be. The kitchen cupboard's and walls were dirty. The floors were spotless. It came with beach chairs that need to be replaced, one was broken and a beach i really which was a nice touch. You should bring more towels and sugar, they supply coffee but no sugar. The sun is unforgiving in Florida. But the views were really nice. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel. You can see it def had a vibe back in the day.

Total class act property. I was greeted by there, wonderful group of valet's. From there, chicken was a breeze there. Smart elevator took a little to adjust 2, but was great. The rooms are clean a little dated overall. For the price, totally worth it. The internet was kind of hit or miss without wifi and I had a couple of calls dropped in my room. The pool was amazing and the bar and grill.We're superb. Very easy access to the beach and great sceneries. We will definitely be coming back to this establishment.Loved it. Greatest vacation ever

The elevator was a "smart" elevator. Didn't always seem to be all that smart. Not timely. 90% of the time stairs were taken. Slowness of elevator is my only complaint. Positives: Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful! The restaurant service was always prompt has a great vibe. Location is great!

The location was perfect. Beach was beautiful and the options to dine inside or at the pool were nice as well. The convenient store options were a plus but overpriced to be expected. A free trolley was exceptionally nice to take to Publix and CVS. Please check with your host to make sure your room has daily essentials and needed necessities during your stay as our unit didn’t provide anything. I would stay again but with a different host or knowing that they don’t provide amenities I would do a Walmart order for towels, washcloths. Kitchen towel, paper towels, toilet paper, etc overall okay. Rooms definitely need a deep professional cleaning.

This property was perfect for my husband and I's Anniversary. Close to public transit. Walking distance to the beach, had a pool. The restaurant in the hotel was very expensive for poor service. We could not get a hold of our Host to order room service, that was the only problem.
