Property required a wrist-band, and when I lost mine it cost $50 to replace! Yes, they warned me upfront, but NO I do not consider this a reasonable fee for a lost wrist-band!

When I entered the bathroom, there was a pubic hair on the towel beside the sink. I know that sounds made up, but it is the truth. Other than that, the room seemed clean. The bed was incredibly hard and it was difficult to sleep. The room was right by the road and it was extremely loud with all the cars, motorcycles and associated honking. This also made it hard to sleep at night. The location is exceptional as the hotel is right by the beach. Even though we were on the other side of the road, there was an elevated walkway just outside our room on the third floor. The walkway connected to the other part of the hotel so we could easily cross over and get to the beach. If you don’t mind hard beds and possible cleanliness issues, the location can’t be beat.

Stayed 3 nights. Staff very good and friendly. Room service for an extra fee. Noisy street! No matter where in Dominican the street to walk down or hotel on street is noisy. I don’t know why everyone has to rev their engines but they do. Could possibly come up with some organic or man made sound barriers to help. Prices in restaurants a bit higher. Overall, nice place, clean, lots of pool spaces and close to beach with a convenient overpass to cross the crazy streets!

Our stay overall was good, but unfortunately the elevator was not working, and we even got stuck inside. We tried using the alarm and phone, but no one came to assist, which was a very frightening experience. This really needs urgent attention for guest safety. Aside from that, the location is great — many beachfront restaurants nearby, and the locals were wonderful. The rooms could use more regular cleaning or upkeep since no housekeeping service is provided. With a few improvements, this could be a fantastic place to stay.

Very nice accommodations, the section I stayed in was overlooking the pool and ocean, super gym facility, professionalism in staff, great location to walk to main beach/restaurant area.

I loved my suite! The multiple pools were very beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful. I had a great time and plan to come back soon !

Excellent property but need more parking spaces

Everything was more than ok, great price, clean, pool area amazing, easy access to the beach, the only thing they need to revise is the noise level on the exterior rooms, facing the street… It is very inconvenient at night, they really should do something about it… An acoustic solution in needed asap. I would gladly stay buy making sure in advance I won’t get one of those rooms again…. Other than that, staff more than amazing, from the security guard on the entrance, receptionist, cleaning staff, top 🔝…

While the property was fine and the room was decent, there was a small roach in my bathroom and the security guard was rude to my friend that lives in the area and to my fellow traveler. The front desk staff was generally friendly, but there clearly a bias towards older white guests.

The rooms facing the street are significantly sized but poorly designed. Too much wasted space. Big rooms with no real closet to hang clothes. I changed my room because you can hear all the noise from motorcycles and cars passing through. The floors in new room were filled with hair and smelled of cooking oil as if someone had been frying food in the suite. I called front desk which sent staff to clean the room and I also asked to change sheets as I had no guarantee they had been replaced. Its a nice hotel but hygiene is the last thing a guest should be faced with complaining about. Also their restaurant serves coffee from a machine. Coffee is important to people easy to make so offering coffee you can pick up from a gas station isn’t the way to go.

The location of the hotel is great, clean, staff very nice

I was looking forward to staying at at this hotel because of the pools and restaurant choices in the hotel. Unfortunately when we were there, even though they supplied us a map with the operating times of each bar/restaurant, any time I went to the restaurant that was supposed to have breakfast, or the pool bar near the biggest pool area, they were not open. This was super disappointing. I didn’t find the pool areas/lounges to be very clean either. The room was fine, although the bathroom door didn’t fully close. The best part about this hotel is how close it is to downtown Cabarete, other than that, it was disappointing.

This was my second time stay at this property. I loved it both times and cannot wait to return. The property is clean and the staff is lovely. It feels very safe and security is around 24/7. Restaurants are all walkable along the beach. It is very quiet and calm at the resort. The bar service at the pool is slow (island time). The room has a full kitchen and the grocery store Janet’s is an easy walk from the hotel.

this is a beautiful property with great pools and a fabulous ocean front. i would have rated it as a 4, but my shower did not heat up beyond tepid for the last 4 nights. for anyone going, this is a great place, but it is not a hotel, it is a timeshare. if you want your room cleaned, or new towels it costs $20.00. the food in the restaurant is reasonably priced and tasty, and there are 30 oceanside restaurants within walking distance to meet anyones needs. you can stay here for a week, and never leave the beach. the rooms all have wifi and the junior suite that i had was very nice and large. it was supposed to have a garden view, but the balcony actually overlooked the street. if you are from New York, you will be comforted by the noise, but walking up at 4:00 a.m. and hearing a motorcycle going by honking its horn, takes getting used to. i would say that this is a great place to stay, but temper your expectations

Posto molto carino e curato,pulito,vicino a locali e ristoranti…stanza grande e bella,aria condizionata non rumorosa e acqua calda in doccia. Consiglio vivamente per chi vuole passare qualche giorno a Cabarete. Io ho preso una stanza che dava sulla piscina ed era silenziosissima.

The property is super conveniently located. We Neverr had hot water during the four days just like warm. On day 2 I called the dont desk…..no one showed up. Wasn’t the biggest deal since it’s hot out in DR but still. I told them on checkout….not much of a response. I would stay there again…..beautiful accommodation

I did not have a good night's rest. The mattress was hard!! That's my only complaint. Everything else was great. Great customer service, breathtaking views, and our suite faces the ocean. The hotel needs more comfortable mattresses, it felt like we were sleeping on bricks. Everyone complained. I met a lady in the pool she had the same complaint. It felt good knowing it wasn't just my family that thought the beds were hard.

The good: Amazing rooms. Jr bedroom suite is huge with a great bathroom and lounge area, tiny balcony. Great beachside pool. Quiet side of Cabarete, but 3 min walk to tons of restaurants on the beach The bad: It's a timeshare and they will make you listen to a 1 hr presentation and talk circles around you to get your money (read reviews). You get a free bfast and you can tell them you aren't interested and they will back off after a bit. The ugly: I called ahead and asked for early check-in. They said this was allowed for early flights. I arrived at 10 am and they said you can check in at 10:30. I waited 35 min and went back up and they started to check us in. They gave us bracelets for the pool and said you can have your room at 3pm. In my book, that's not checking in. They claimed they didn't have rooms ready, but when pressed, said we could buy a room. Shady. My other friend was coming in at 3 am and I triple-checked that she would be able to get in. They showed me her envelope with her name on it and key inside. Sure enough, the front desk calls me at 4am because they said they don't have any record of my friend having a room, even though its in the system. I go downstairs and they find the envelope and we check her in. Then 4 hrs later, they call my room and wake me again to invite me to breakfast for the timeshare pitch. It's bad enough that the street noise is hard to sleep with but the front desk waking you up twice in 1 night for no good reason is -1 star each.

I had issues contacting the hotel since it was an international call. Not sure if it was bc of the international call I was having issues but even when I reached someone I was disconnected or they hung up on me so it was frustrating as it took a while to evn get a human every time I called. The short period of time I did speak to someone (less than ~10m) my carrier had charged me $54. I wish there was a toll free contact or another way to communicate with them. I called to confirm my booking and they told me they couldn't find it so I found myself going back n forth btwn Expedia and them. Expedia was able to confirm for me they have my booking so I called them back to confirm myself and they were then telling me they were finally booking my reservation after I had booked it over a month prior on Expedia. Fast-forward when I get there to check in they told me they couldn't find my reservation. At this point I am irate. They eventually find it but I shouldn't have to deal with that after all the confirmation efforts I made. Not the first time booking on Expedia so it sounds like the resorts fault. My stay was about 3 days. There were some things I wasn't accustom to when I got there. They mentioned I wld only get 1 room key and no additional towels and if I requested any more I would be charged. So the policies were slightly different from my expectations. Other than that, my room was nice. There was a bit of grime on the faucet and shower handle. Cleanliness could be improved

Customer's service very awful! Their demeanor not welcome, uncomfortable. Checked out early after a staff unlocked and came into my room, even though I called aloud to wait! I am not dress,her response was, doing resport,nonsense ! Room occupied..Invade our privacy. Room very spacious and clean but that changed when I saw a roach on night table. Upon checking out, admin staff halt my taxi to check room inventory, really!!! No one want anything to steal.. they charged 15US to changed bedding and suply towel, clean room..unheard of! I would not recommend and ofcourse my last visit.

The rooms and pool are modern, look good, are clean, staff are friendly. However there are many problems. There is something unfriendly about the place which has no reflection on the staff on the ground, they force you to wear a silly bracelet for the duration of your stay and basically fine you if you remove it, there is a long list of other things you can also be fined for. This bracelet thing might be normal for an all inclusive hotel where the lazy customers do not leave the hotel however I like an active holiday and dont like a bracelet that screams I am a silly tourist please mug me. On the first morning we were pressured into a silly time wasting tour of the hotel which purpose was to sell things, it was very difficult to get out of and was very odd, the guide even sat with us for some of our breakfast. The biggest problem is the noise inside the room, the fool that designed the place has us walking to the room in a hallway open to a very busy road meaning that the only thing between the bedroom and the road noise is a normal door, if you are a light sleeper this will not work for you as vehicles are very loud here. I imagine the architect designed the place working in an office in a city far away and spent no time on site before, during or after construction. The bedroom is very poorly soundproofed and the bathroom has no extractor fan but a strange vent in the wall which means you can hear a lot of uncomfortable toilet, shower and sexual noises from the neighbour

Room and grounds were nice, location worked out very well. Felt there were to many rules. Had to wear a colored bracelet. My family could not bring any guests onto property for meals at our room. Very restrictive. We were stopped from using the walk-over bridge with guests on our way to restaurant because guests did not have bracelet. Fresh towels, for room you must pay. Front desk very unresponsive, no sense of urgency. Checkout. Juan at front desk had us wait while housekeeper went through room to ensure all "Inventory" was there. We waited 20 minutes, and housekeeper reported a fork was missing from utensil drawer. I assured Juan that we did not take any forks, he said we should have checked every single item when we checked-in. He told me we had to pay 3 dollars for the fork, or we could not check out! I paid him the 3 dollars and at the same time the housekeeper called back she found the fork. He laughed, said "sorry" and gave me back the 3 dollars. Seriously, no sense of apology, nothing that indicated he even cared that he delayed us. Overall the vibe here was distrust, not allowed to have guests over and everything has a fee or charge for what is normally basic service at other hotels.

The friendliness and service rendered by the staff were amazing. I will definitely stay again.

I like that the staff is very friendly and kind they make you feel welcome and comfortable

My husband and I have this great hotel on repeat… we have been here more than 15 times and the reason for this is the great service starting with the manager Michael; reception Jeuri and Natauris and Aronis at the bar… they are all very courteous; helpful and joyful. The bartenders and lifeguard are so nice. If you are looking for a place to feel spoiled. This is the place!!

It was clean, spacious and just right for a nice gateway. Centrally located with easy access to the beach.

Les chambres ne sont pas sur la plage, c est plutot le Ambassy qui l est. Donc on soit tranverser la rue principale tres bruyante pour acceder a la plage, cela n est pas clair dans la description de l hotel. Les chambres sont donc tres bruyante resultat des bruit incessant de la rue de cabarete. L hotel est par contre directement au centre ville, tres pret des bars et des restaurants. Le matin ils tondent le gazon a 8am , pas super. L hotel en general est propre , par contre lors de notre sejour , les femmes de menages essayaient de faire le menage de notre chambre a 8am , nous n tions pas pret et elles ne revenaient jamais donc notre chambre n a jamais ete nettoye meme pas les poubelles videes en 6 nuits, pas tres professionnel. Le service y est lent comme partout a Cabarete. La piscine est tres satisfaisante et la vue magnifique. Le prix de la chambre etait pas cher alors peut etre que le rapport qualite prix etait le bon ?? Mais je n y retournerais pas les defauts sur des choses de base etant trop importants

I booked 2 rooms back in 2018 and then booked 10 rooms in 2019. It was such a great ALL INCLUSIVE Resort, especially the pool side snack bar!!! Now its only the room and access to the pool. They offer food packages but we refused to pay $20 per person for eggs, toast and a cup of coffee. We walked for about 5 mins to a nearby spot and purchased pancakes, scrambled eggs with toast, Avocado toast with a bowl of fruits and two cups of coffee for only $16!!! I may return because we really like the accommodations (room was spacious and clean) but maybe admin will understand that they will continue to lose money if they don’t atleast include breakfast. Oh another downside was the noise from the traffic outside especially the motorcycles.

We had booked a garden view room but our balcony overlooked a very busy and noisy street. The pool snack and food restaurant was not open the entire week. Housekeeping services, including towel refresh were only available for an additional fee. The room itself was nice and clean and comfortable. Of the three restaurants advertised, only one was open at a given time. The only ice machine available was on the opposite side of the building, across the street, and down 3 flights.

I always love coming to Cabarete and staying in this hotel. Sad thing is that they are NOT all inclusive. But my husband and I eat at the surrounding restaurants and they are very tasty and affordable. The meal plans at This place is too expensive and they are Not as tasty

The location is great, but one of the things I really value about staying in a hotel is having fresh towels provided daily—especially after a day at the beach, which wasn’t offered here. There's also an abandoned building right next to the property that looks like it was meant to be part of the hotel but was never completed, which affects the overall feel. I stayed here mainly to run errands, so it served its purpose. However, if I were coming for a true vacation, I’d probably choose a different place.

This property is outstanding. I actually stayed at the Imperial Suites on the beach, which is across from the Presidential Suites after 1 day. I loved the Imperial Suites very much. But the Beach view of the Imperial Suites convinced me to change the next day. But the Staff and the openness to everything was outstanding. I loved everything about this hotel. The food in the restaurant was just okay. It did not have a lot of offerings for my taste. But there are restaurants up and down the beach. I cannot say enough how safe I felt here. I felt safe enough that I slept with my balcony doors open throughout the night.
