La musica en vivo es hasta las 8pm y la única alternativa es la discoteca pero siempre estuvo vacía. La comida estuvo buena en sentido general. La atención del personal estuvo de primera. La playa no estuvo buena por la temporada sargazo. La piscina si estuvo adecuada y limpia. En conclusion, lo recomiendo para personas mayores, si solo buscas descansar o parejas con hijos. I stayed at Villa swim out and loved every bit of it. My butler Gary was amazing safer me from a disaster for a wedding I attended. The people were amazing and so sweet they truly loved to make you happy and if you want or needed anything they tried their best to accommodate you. I’ve only put 4 stars because the beach although the workers did their best was awful with sea weed. They really need some type of machine to clean up the mess the guys doing the cleanup by hand was just too much for them and it didn’t do anything. Also the spa massages were wonderful it wasn’t worth the prices they asked. I got a pedicure that was expensive but it was not worth even $25. I’m short so the chair was uncomfortable for me the lady that did my pedicure was nice but didn’t know what she was doing. Hardly any massage at all mostly just clean up and paint. Which wasn’t much to choose from. I had to sit in a regular chair so she can paint my toes it was like having it done by a friend more than anything. I paid $80 for a $10 pedicure and having pain in my back doing so because I had to hold my foot up for her to do it. Other than the beach and the spa I would definitely love to go back to that resort. Overall I loved staying there.

I really wanted to love Dreams Cap Cana, but unfortunately, my experience didn’t meet expectations. I was a Preferred Member, yet I didn’t feel like one. The “preferred” bar was so far from the pool that we constantly had to get out just to get a drink — and when I finally did, the drink I wanted was often out of stock. Overall, I didn’t feel I got my money’s worth for the Preferred upgrade. The resort itself is beautiful, but the service and convenience didn’t reflect the level of luxury I paid for.

Most of the staff were great. The food was ok, the Italian restaurant was not the best. The hotel needs some updating. Upgrading the room was not worth the extra money. You could not even walk in the ocean it had so much seaweed and large rocks and the sand has a lot of coral and concrete and stones. The highlight was making some new friends.

We had a great stay at Dreams Cap Cana, thanks to the amazing staff and beautiful accommodations. A standout was our butler, Eudomar—always responsive, polite, and incredibly attentive. He made our stay feel effortless. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well cared for. The entertainment was also a highlight—Water Zumba was fun, and the nightly shows were lively and well-executed. Food was mostly excellent. We loved the steakhouse and ate there three nights—the food and service were consistently great. The Mediterranean restaurant was also a hit, especially the ribeye. However, Candela was underwhelming, with small portions and food that didn’t feel authentically Dominican. At the buffet, a kind woman who made omelets (June 27–29) went above and beyond, even preparing fried cheese and avocado for a traditional Dominican breakfast. Her warm service truly stood out. The big downside: the beach. It was rocky, full of seaweed, and the water was murky—unusable for swimming. As beach lovers, this was a major letdown. In short, Dreams Cap Cana delivers on service, food, and comfort, but the beach experience was poor enough that we wouldn’t return. If the beach isn’t a priority, it’s a solid resort.

We really enjoyed Dreams. The staff was amazing. My room was comfortable, theproperty was clean and the shows were great! The beach area could use some improvements. There could be more trees for shade and it needs to be cleaned everyday. The only other things that I would’ve like was more food options. The menu was the same all week and it became boring.

Superb hotel, refurbished very recently, the rooms are almost brand-new, spacious and well equipped with a huge bed and the sofa bed for our toddler was perfect. We had a beautiful view of the resort and the sea on the 4th floor. The hotel is quiet, clean and the staff are very kind. They don’t ask you for tips (not like at the Sanctuary or the Ocean Blue). The food quality and choice is the best we had so far. They have kids menu and variety of choices. The hotel offers to club members a private restaurant and a pool. The hotel has good entertainments in the evening, concerts, cigar-making, caricatures, beach parties. Barbecue parties. They have a kids club and we used the nanny service as well with a qualified staff (15usd per hour). We used the spa and it was nice too. We really liked our stay at Dreams Cap Cana and we will return here in our next stay in Dom Rep. Ps: Do not book Ocean Blue, avoid at all costs. I had food poisoning and I was unwell for 2 days, the hotel is old, rooms smell mold, staff asking for tips… the beach is beautiful but that’s the only good thing about ocean blue.

First of all we upgraded to a preferred club room that comes with your personal butler which we never met or came to greet us . The preferred club bar and restaurant seems like it was open to everyone sinces there was no way to tell what guests were preferred club or not , so the extra money spent wasn’t worth it. And last but not least in some hotels when you pay for vip or preferred service you have a separate or private check in, instead we got greeted with “ time share” options on the first minute of your family vacation , not an ideal time.

Everything was good except when you register in front deck they introduce a some guys with blu shirts,they offer you a lunch in the another hotel in exchange for 90 minutes of my time, I didn’t want to accept but they keep insisting that has to change no is no.

I was only there for two days. It took me nearly two hours to check in, which was the wordy experience ever in any hotel abroad or domestic. The food was subpar as breakfast options was very limited. When I ordered room service, it was extremely late and cold. The service was not good at all. I was supposed to have access to a butler given I stayed in a preferred suite, but the butler never engaged with me despite promises made multiple times.

The staff was incredibly rude. Room wasn't ready until after 5pm. Front desk kept saying come back in an hour and it turned out that housekeeping was lying about cleaning room so that i could check in. I arrived at 1pm they didn't even start cleaning until 4. At restaurant waiter would not serve us. I had to flag down another waiter and still didn't get food for over an hour and watched 8 ppl come in after us (30 mins ) and get food before us. We ordered the same thing! I wanted to leave and get a refund but rate was non refundable

The hotel was great. The food and drinks were amazing. The hotel is quite not too much to do. It’s a great place to relax and lay back. However, the beach is not good at all . Lots of seaweed but even if there is no seaweed, there are lots of rocks too. Overall, we had a great stay at Dreams Cap Cana.

The resort is beautiful, very clean and felt safe. The food is average some restaurants are better than others but we never had to wait or make reservations, which was nice. The beach right in front of the resort where the lounge chairs are is very rocky. However there is a swimmable area and you can walk the whole beach up to the secrets resort. The beach is clean meaning no trash, there was a fair amount of seaweed. Also if you like nightlife there is not much, definitely not a party resort, more of the laidback vibe.

we booked undet Margaritaville and the puctures of the beach were nothing like the beach they have. it was rocky and you couldnt even go on the beach. we had to walk down to the private beach and that beach wasnt wven that good

Swim up was nice to have. resort accommodated our 3 families so we had rooms next to each out. room service was super nice. swim up bar was fun, though sometimes we were ignored for the native speaking guests. they did not skimp on the alcohol in the drinks. Housekeeping inconsistent, some days they would come, other days they did not and we had to call for extra towels. Food was okay, but we were able to find things on each menu to eat. The point system to go "shop" for alcohol and other drinks to keep in the room fridge was limiting. the points did not get us very far. beach right by resort was rocky, but we walked a little further down to a public beach which was much better. Overall we enjoyed it. not sure we would come back though

I found out that this hotel was previously Margaritaville. I stayed in Margaritaville one year ago. The management was much better. I’ve stayed at Dreams before with good results. This was a mixed bag. The buffet was a failure! You need a complete new overhaul. The service was the worst that I have ever received there! The food was not even 3star! The alacart restaurants were better but definitely not 4 or 5 star! Average at best! I couldn’t even get seating with coffee cups in the morning. fire the food manager please! Hire management that can handle the job! I will not return!

Breakfast menu was truly one of a kind, the beverage options were impressive: you could make your own blend of juice from fresh fruits, there was mimosa and the hot water for tea was in these cute terracotta teapots! A la carte restaurants were amazing! 5-stars for whole resort
