Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa - Adults Only - All Inclusive

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Secrets Cap Cana. I was charged an additional $408 for one adult, yet I did not receive an upgrade or anything that justified this additional charge. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the resort did not make any real effort to work with me or find a reasonable solution. I had already paid a $300 deposit, and instead of applying the additional charges against that deposit, I was charged the extra amount on top of it. I found the way this was handled very disappointing and frustrating. For a resort that promotes itself as a luxury, high-end, all-inclusive experience, I expected much better customer service and a willingness to work with a guest when there was clearly an issue. The money is one thing, but the way the situation was handled is what really left a bad impression. I expected Secrets Cap Cana to value its guests and make an effort to resolve the issue fairly. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would think twice before booking here again. The way this charge was handled and the lack of customer service were simply unacceptable.

I had a wonderful stay at Secrets. The staff were super professional, Luis my concierge and Oscar from the Portofino Restaurant were awesome. Check-in was great as was check out. No surprise fees anywhere. My room was perfect. Bathroom was very nice and clean. The food was good as was room service. The spa was very nice as well if your looking for a deep tissue massage..

Incredibly friendly staff who provided special touches each day. Concierge was assigned to us at check in that we could text or contact with any needs. Never had to wait for dining or drinks. Best all inclusive we've ever stayed at.

This all-inclusive resort is really top-notch! The food was good and the service was incredible (usually). There were so many dining options! (French, Mexican, Buffet, Italian, Steak, Seafood, & Japanese) We were there a week and had a different dining experience every night. Pool staff were very attentive. I kept moving my umbrella to make sure I was in the shade and as soon as I started, an attendant would run over to help. Sometimes servers would walk around with trays of beautiful drinks, and there were buffets, fresh coconuts and crepes by the pools. Music and lots of activities happening in the main pool, but if you want a quiet space, I recommend paying for preferred so you can relax at the peaceful preferred pool. Preferred status also gives you a few more options for dining. Oceana is open for breakfast for preferred guests which is a nice sit-down alternative from the buffet or coffee shop. There is also a bar/restaurant next to the preferred pool that is exclusive. Both pools have lots of umbrellas for shade, cushioned lounge chairs and infinity pool edges looking out over the beach. You really can't swim in the ocean in June because the sargassum is so thick in the water even though the resort does an excellent job removing it from the sand so it doesn't stink in the hot sun. I was worried about mosquitos, but I didn't get a single bite and hubby got about 5 because they love him. We really enjoyed our visit to Secrets Cap Cana.
