The staff is great, very friendly, efficient makes you feel like family. The rooms were very nice and the a/c in the room was excellent. What was horrible and unacceptable was that all the restaurants (Gourmet, Asian, Steakhouse, Buffets) as well as the theater had no Air Conditioner. The staff was incredible in all the places though they were all sweating as they were in a sauna. They were not the only ones sweating so were we, it was like dining in a steam bath. I did ask the staff and no one had an answer. We were there 7 days and we will not be returning due to this. The only area that had a/c was the gift shop next to the theater as well as the club (disco). Some areas, hallways in the main lobby were not lit up in the evening as ell. i do not know if they are attempting to lower their electricity cost but it was very bad. We went with another couple who went last year and highly recommended the property and they must have apologized 3-4 times per day to use. They were embarrassed (though we told them how could they know). We had the room with the swim out pool yet we were not considered "elite' which the only perks were "premium" liquor (not so premium either) and the use of an elite pool which last year was 1 of the adult pools and 1 bottle of liquor given to you every 5 days. These were the main differences which is was ridiculous and gave the impression of just a cheap upsell trick. We will NOT RETURN to this hotel.

Serenade all inclusive resort was amazing. The staff was very friendly and the events coordinator, pineapple/pina colada, was awesome and very energetic. We would go back in a heartbeat. The atmosphere was cool and the spa was amazing.

Positivo: El hotel solo para adulto es una instalacion nueva y las habitaciones que tienen piscina estan espectaculares. El A/C fue el mejor de todos los hoteles que he visitado y la piña colada que alli ofertan es muy buena. El trato del personal es buenisimo y todos muy amables. Negativo: el area de la piscina cierra 6.30pm no se puede disfrutar mas tiempo, solo funciona un solo jacuzzi, solo una sola piscina tiene música. Poca variedad de comida, esperaba mas del menu de un hotel 5 estrellas en PC, en general la comida no me gusto, perdimos 2h en un programa que tienen que se llama xpand, es lo mismo que un timeshare, intentan venderte una membresia para vacacionar con ellos a precios exorbitantes, una perdida de tiempo. La playa no es cristalina y tenia muchas algas, eso puede ser por la temporada del año ya que visite en noviembre. Pocas actividades nocturnas.

First time staying at an all inclusive resort. I went with my boyfriend for my birthday. Upon arrival to the resort, the lobby staff were welcoming. We checked in and grabbed a bite to eat. When we checked into our room, we were pleased. Upon unpacking we noticed our refrigerator was not getting cold and we had an opened soda in the fridge.We reached out to the front desk, they did someone up to check. It still didn’t get cold. Reached back out, still nothing. So we had no cold refrigerator the entire stay. The pool area and swim up bar was great. Unfortunately the bar closed pretty early, 6pm. The lobby bar closed at 11. Everything was pretty much shut down by midnight. It was kind of boring. All food service was closed by 10 which was frustrating. Overall it was a relaxing vacation but definitely a little boring. They had a silent disco the last night and that was great but only lasted about a hour in a half!! The food overall was a 4 out of 10. Breakfast was my favorite because i ordered omelettes my way. I wish they would have had more activities for guest and later food arrangements. Also our tv stopped working, it would just shut off randomly. We did mention that to maintenance but issue wasn’t solved. Will be returning to DR but definitely will choose a different resort.

Beautiful resort but… My tv didn’t work my entire stay even after being reported to the front desk. Not many food options on top the food not being that great. HIBACHI IS A HIT EVERYTIME. The adult only side of the resort was boring compared to the family side where there is a SPORTS BAR as well as daily entertainment. The adult side pool closes at 7pm daily and the pool bar doesn’t open up until 10am and closes at 6pm which is inconvenient for ADULTS ONLY RESORTS. I can go on all day but i’ll just simple sum it up to, This resort needs a new marketing and special events team to revamp the excitement for adults traveling without kids if the plan on retaining repeat customers

This is an excellent resort which is fairly new. They are building a large family addition next to the existing with a casino that will add to the entertainment. We stay on the adult side which is very calm in the evenings. Three pools on the adult side definitely give you a choice of noise and activity level. I recommend this resort for a calm relaxing environment, not if you’re looking for a wild party experience. This was our fourth time at this resort, we’ve stayed at other resort’s in the DR as well. Sargasum was controlled well but was on the beach areas adjacent to the resort. Close to the airport and convenient, staff is excellent, very accommodating.

Property was nice and well kept. Staff was well accommodating. Pools were nice. Roof top Sunset Bar pool area was an excellent amenity. Beach area was nice. Plenty of chairs at both the pool and beach areas. If you are looking for a peaceful quiet vacation the adult side is perfect for that. But for us the Adult side was a little too relaxing. It was lacking in engagement of the entertainment staff throughout the day and evening that we are accustom to with our other trips. If you are looking for more entertainment and having daily evening shows, you would be better to stay on the family side.

Check in was a little confusing but it was solved. Grounds were clean and the staff was super friendly. However, not all the restaurants were open and we were told we couldn’t go to the restaurants next door where the kids were. But it was fine. The buffet was open daily

The resort itself is pretty, but it does appear to need significant maintenance. Our room was beautiful at first glance, though upon closer inspection it was not as clean as expected. We upgraded to a room with a private pool, and on our first night we noticed cockroaches around the pool area, which was quite disheartening. The beach was decent—the sand was very clean and pleasant, although I expected the water to be clearer. Regarding the staff, many interactions felt unfriendly at first. Service noticeably improved after tipping, but overall the attitude was inconsistent. In particular, one bartender at the pool, Melvin, was consistently rude to the point that my partner and I chose to avoid whichever bar he was working at. The food was also disappointing. The buffet, unfortunately, did not offer anything we found enjoyable, although the à la carte restaurants were somewhat acceptable. Overall, I would describe this resort as a 3-star property presented as a 5-star experience, and I would not choose to stay here again.

Cons: Rooms held a lot of moisture, making everything feel wet. They needed to be cleaned more thoroughly. There was dried spit toothpaste all over behind the sink wall. The sink handles had dried toothpaste caked all over them. The floor had white residue near under the sink. I dropped an earring under sink so dirty like it never gets swept. Our first room had mold on the mattress. We had to move rooms. Would benefit from a better ventilation system. When someone is using the restroom & another in the shower the ventilation system runs in the shower & is very unpleasant smell. Beach: had seaweed build up & was dark waters our trip, so couldn't enjoy it. Multiple bars throughout even a swim up bar, but each one you went to made same drink u order previously completely different. You really should know Spanish to communicate well w/staff but not a must to visit, but would definitely have helped. Pros: stocked fridge daily few different drinks. We had a pool out our patio doors-extra $. Pool towels daily. Room service. All inclusive food & alcohol too. The food was delicious w/a variety! Service was great! People very nice! Beautiful place & you could enjoy the all adults where we were & all the family side too. There were nice lawn furniture on the beach & by the 4 pools you could use on the adult only side. They provide slippers, robe, hair dryer,comb, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lofa, toothbrush & toothpaste, shower cap, disposable razor, shaving cream & moisturizer.

Strong odor upon arrival. Confirmed it was rotting seaweed on the beach. To my disappointment the besch was unsuitable to swim. Additionally while dining the plates and silverware were dirty at various restaurants . I ended up getting sick so i left early. Worst trip ever!

Room was dirty at check in . Bed had stains and looked like puke on floor and then housekeeping was bad. Never changing sheets and we marked with eye liner to tell if they were changed. Continuous issues with tv and and restaurant menu not matching app or app not even working. Would not return here.

The property, although it is not that old, seemed to be very run down. Maintenance issues included leaking pipes "fixed" by a towel and tape wrapped around it (water leaking from pipe through the molded ceiling times onto the toilet in our room), mold, broken shower fixtures, in operatable mini fridge, exteriors of buildings in poor shape, "wood" finishes on doors and hallways peeling. Holes in walls and missing trim pieces. Dirty pools with trash all around. Dirty towels for both bath and pool. But, with all the maintenance and cleaning issues aside- our interaction with staff was mostly good and the food was good at all restaurants.

First time staying at an all inclusive resort. I went with my boyfriend for my birthday. Upon arrival to the resort, the lobby staff were welcoming. We checked in and grabbed a bite to eat. When we checked into our room, we were pleased. Upon unpacking we noticed our refrigerator was not getting cold and we had an opened soda in the fridge.We reached out to the front desk, they did someone up to check. It still didn’t get cold. Reached back out, still nothing. So we had no cold refrigerator the entire stay. The pool area and swim up bar was great. Unfortunately the bar closed pretty early, 6pm. The lobby bar closed at 11. Everything was pretty much shut down by midnight. It was kind of boring. All food service was closed by 10 which was frustrating. Overall it was a relaxing vacation but definitely a little boring. They had a silent disco the last night and that was great but only lasted about a hour in a half!! The food overall was a 4 out of 10. Breakfast was my favorite because i ordered omelettes my way. I wish they would have had more activities for guest and later food arrangements. Also our tv stopped working, it would just shut off randomly. We did mention that to maintenance but issue wasn’t solved. Will be returning to DR but definitely will choose a different resort.

Staff were amazing! The rooms were beautiful however the water was either boiling hot or really cold, the rooms would get very moist and the floor got slippery. Everything else though was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay! We loved all the cats running around :)

I recently stayed at Serenade All Suites and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the food. Many buffet items seemed undercooked, overcooked, or not properly refrigerated, raising safety concerns. Neither the buffets nor the à la carte restaurants had air conditioning, so dining in 80–90°F heat was uncomfortable. Reservations were frustrating. We were told we didn’t need them for La Palapa at dinner, but we did. Reservations are made through an app, which didn’t work at first and had to be fixed. Room: Garden view swim out room super cool and fun! Room is very clean. A/C works excellent! Fridge stocked with pop, water, beer. Just ask for more and they deliver! Shower very nice. Beds a little hard but sleepable. Pools: We mainly used the one with the swim up bar…fun activities and bar staff great, remembering what you were drinking. Shout out too Melvin and Roverto! The Serenade All Suites Adults Only resort was great value for the price. The rooms were very clean and secure, and the beds were comfortable but they need new pillows. We felt safe both at the resort and while walking the beach. Joel at the main lobby bar was amazing. Always smiling and happy to serve you. Martha at La Palapa was fantastic and went above and beyond for us and especially my friend who was not feeling 100%. She greeted us with a big smile every day and treated us like family! The buffet restaurant was great. There was a lot of variety and the quality was very good especially the grilled shrimp and fish. I’ve been to a number of different resorts in Punta Cana and I find most resorts don’t do a good job at specialty restaurants unless you go high end. Serenade was no different. The only specialty restaurant that our group of six adults semi-enjoyed was the steak house. The food wasn’t too bad but our server made it an unpleasant experience. He rushed us from the moment we sat down until we left, although there wasn’t another seating after us (as it was low season). The teppanyaki at the Japanese restaurant was very entertaining. Our group laughed a lot during the cooking. Overall our group had a fantastic time and would return if we were looking for an inexpensive getaway.

Room condition was not great. At arrival, they couldn’t let me in because the door was broken and the maid was locked inside. I was locked inside/outside 3x and had to call for maintenance. The property is new, clean and well kept. The pool area was never crowded. The service was pretty good except for a waitress at the sports bar. She was not friendly and ignored us. The bartender at the La Planta bar was awesome! Our room was nice. Very comfortable bed. Our mini fridge was never restocked. One big complaint is there was no full length mirror. I love the shower and the storage for our clothes and shoes.

Plenty of chairs at both the pool and beach areas. If you are looking for a peaceful quiet vacation the adult side is perfect for that. But for us the Adult side was a little too relaxing. It was lacking in engagement of the entertainment staff throughout the day and evening that we are accustom to with our other trips. If you are looking for more entertainment and having daily evening shows, you would be better to stay on the family side.

They were trying to sell us some membership that we had no interest in even after saying no. They were so aggressive with selling this membership that I could not forget about it during the rest of the trip. STAY AWAY FROM AUGUST. This man will tear you apart and try to push you into buying this useless membership. From what I've seen, it seems they target young couples. I would stay away from them at all cost. They will try to invite you to a lunch/dinner discussing a "promotion" I repeat, stay away from this. They said it would only be 1 hour and it ended up being 3 hours. What could have been such an amazing experience just left me thinking about this stupid experience the rest of the trip. What felt like genuine kindness from the staff made me feel like it was all a front to try and lure me into buying something. I really wish this was not part of the resort. I really do feel bad for the people that fall into this scam.

The staff was absolutely warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to show their Caribbean hospitality. Julissa from the Elite Lounge was excellent. We didn’t initially get offered the room upgrade. However, Julissa later personally came to our room to offer us an upgrade: a room with a swim-out pool. Unfortunately, we refused the upgrade because our room had a great view of the resort. We had a great time and would recommend this resort to family and friends. We will also be returning soon in the near future. We had an awesome !

The room was good, everything work. We struggled with having client towel 4 of 7 days. Our frig was not filled for the same amount of days. The front desk said it was because our housekeeping sign in not out which it was but they would just move it. Also the first two night we came back to very wet rooms, I also this this was purposeful. We figured out that if you don't tip day and night you will get not services. We typically tip large at the end for quality of service. If that is their preference they should have a reference sheet with these type of suggestions.

Our stay at the resort began with a few challenges regarding our initial room accommodations. Fortunately, Cruz from Client Services stepped in and completely changed the experience for us. She was attentive, patient, and incredibly helpful in securing a much better room, which made the rest of our stay far more enjoyable. Cruz also went out of her way to make my birthday extra special. She decorated our room beautifully and surprised me with a cake and champagne — such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot and truly elevated the celebration. What started off rocky turned into a memorable and relaxing trip thanks to her outstanding service. We’re extremely grateful and would absolutely return.

The resort was beautiful and clean, very large area to explore on both adults only and family side. The resort has many dining options, and my boyfriend and I loved Gourmet restaurant most, the service was quick and the food was delicious. There are cats running around the resort which was a bonus, they were very cute and friendly and we played with them a ton. Housekeeping could’ve been better, but we didn’t make a huge mess and didn’t need much tending to, but it would’ve been nice to have our sheets changed at least once during our stay; we must’ve had to request for it specifically. The beach is gorgeous and lots of loungers and beds to lay on, and lots of space from others. Overall, the stay was amazing, and we would definitely come back to Serenade All Suites and get around to the parts of the resort we hadn’t yet seen. I’d also like to thank Estefani for being very friendly, my boyfriend and I were on the beach looking for seashells and she came up to us and dug in her bag and pulled out a handful of shells we couldn’t find on the beach and gave them to us as a gift. We tipped her for her kindness and it made my day that she was so friendly.

The hotel was nice and quiet, room very good size with plenty of storage and kept clean. Not a hotel for entertainment but we wanted relaxation. Food not all that great and restaurants would close on several nights. Found the best food was at the buffet. Close to airport and just the right size hotel - easy to walk around. we had gone last year and liked it enough to go back this year. Hotel facilities were beautiful, located only 15 min away from airport. Only bad thing I can say is the service and friendliness of staff is not very good. I would convey a message to staff and that is that smile is free and it can go along way.

The Serenade All Suites Adults Only resort was great value for the price. The rooms were very clean and secure, and the beds were comfortable but they need new pillows. We felt safe both at the resort and while walking the beach. Joel at the main lobby bar was amazing. Always smiling and happy to serve you. Martha at La Palapa was fantastic and went above and beyond for us and especially my friend who was not feeling 100%. She greeted us with a big smile every day and treated us like family! The buffet restaurant was great. There was a lot of variety and the quality was very good especially the grilled shrimp and fish. I’ve been to a number of different resorts in Punta Cana and I find most resorts don’t do a good job at specialty restaurants unless you go high end. Serenade was no different. The only specialty restaurant that our group of six adults semi-enjoyed was the steak house. The food wasn’t too bad but our server made it an unpleasant experience. He rushed us from the moment we sat down until we left, although there wasn’t another seating after us (as it was low season). The teppanyaki at the Japanese restaurant was very entertaining. Our group laughed a lot during the cooking. Overall our group had a fantastic time and would return if we were looking for an inexpensive getaway.

This is an excellent resort which is fairly new. They are building a large family addition next to the existing with a casino that will add to the entertainment. We stay on the adult side which is very calm in the evenings. Three pools on the adult side definitely give you a choice of noise and activity level. I recommend this resort for a calm relaxing environment, not if you’re looking for a wild party experience. This was our fourth time at this resort, we’ve stayed at other resort’s in the DR as well. Was a decent stay for my anniversary had bad diarrhea and stomach issues from either the food or ice brushed teeth with bottled water drank the water at dinner a few times, we stayed 11/7/25 until 11/14/25 we went on 2 excursions the blue lagoon was nice but I had to muscle through the day with bad stomach issues We went on the boogies go carts through the mud it was fun.You can try to watch what you eat but you shouldn’t have to for the price you pay for an all inclusive you should be safe to eat and drink whatever you want during your stay

I recently stayed at Serenade All Suites and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the food. Many buffet items seemed undercooked, overcooked, or not properly refrigerated, raising safety concerns. Neither the buffets nor the à la carte restaurants had air conditioning, so dining in 80–90°F heat was uncomfortable. Reservations were frustrating. We were told we didn’t need them for La Palapa at dinner, but we did. Reservations are made through an app, which didn’t work at first and had to be fixed. Drinks were decent but typical watered-down all-inclusive alcohol. Our room was only cleaned and mini-bar restocked when requested. Room service was the best food we had all week. However, the TV only worked if unplugged and plugged back in, and the door to our patio/swim-up pool didn’t lock, which was concerning. Service was inconsistent. I would definitely recommend for a nice relaxing weekend. The staff went above and beyond. The only thing I would say need improvement are the meal options. The habachi in the Japanese restaurant is the only meal I would try again… everything else needs a lot of tweaking.

Besides getting food poisoning and being sick two days of the trip and vomiting all the way home to Vancouver, Washington, which was a nightmare. Air conditioning broke in sports bar has been for a while. Every time they come to clean your room you have to ask for towels or just to get them to come clean your room go for breakfast. They don’t come ask you if you want a coffee or a drink because nobody speaks English my room was nice. Air conditioning was great. The grounds were clean just a very boring place so and the beach was not a Caribbean water beauty that you expect.

The resort offers very nice and quiet beaches and atmosphere which is what we loved about it. Some people don’t like the quiet aspect of the resort, they have options to go next door to the family side where they can enjoy entertainment nightly. The food is good and the steak house stood out as one of the best meals we have had during the stay. We also loved the Wednesday Dominican food night—tons of delicious food with live music and dance if you’d like to. The not so good part is the staff service: they need more training. It’s not that they don’t speak much English, that didn’t bother us at all, it’s that the servers seemed having a hard time to manage tables. We asked many times to get coffee in the morning, every morning. The room is very nice. Spacious, new, and modern. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to others.
