Unfortunately, our experience at La Focaccia was extremely disappointing, especially because we were celebrating my partner’s birthday. From the moment we arrived, the host, Samantha, made us feel unwelcome. She gave us attitude and insisted that our reservation was for another restaurant, even though that restaurant was closed. She did not greet us warmly or smile, and her attitude made us feel like we were bothering her simply by being there. As Platinum guests, we expected a much better level of hospitality. Unfortunately, things did not improve after we were seated. My lasagna was cold/lukewarm, and the glass I was given to drink from was dirty and had crusty residue on it. What bothered me the most was Samantha’s treatment of us. A host is the first impression guests receive when entering a restaurant, and she made us feel unwanted. Management should seriously consider retraining her on customer service and hospitality because this is not how guests should be treated. We specifically chose to have dinner here to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and instead of making it a special evening, the experience ruined what should have been a memorable birthday dinner. Very disappointing.

We traveled with our 5-month-old and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean, the amenities were great, and the hotel itself was very nice. The main issue we experienced was with mosquitoes coming out from the bathroom drains, particularly the shower drain and around the base of the toilet, likely due to water retention. There was no unpleasant smell, and everything was otherwise very clean, so this seemed more like a maintenance/plumbing issue rather than a cleanliness problem. We ended up killing more than 20 mosquitoes and had to keep the bathroom door closed to prevent them from getting into the room. We still enjoyed our stay, but I strongly recommend that the hotel address this issue, especially since families with young children may be staying in the rooms. As for the food, we were not particularly impressed with the buffet, as the options were somewhat limited and not as good as we expected. We did, however, visit the Italian restaurant, where the steak and food were very good, and the service was excellent. Overall, we had a nice stay and appreciated the cleanliness, amenities, and service. Hopefully, the hotel can resolve the mosquito issue coming from the bathroom drains, as that would make the experience much better.

It was such a beautiful place to say the staff was super helpful and even made conversation with you. The only issue we had was the mosquitoes The main door doesn’t go all the way to the ground so there is a sleigh crack, which allows the bug to come in so every night my husband was fighting with the mosquitoes before we went to bed. overall, I would still go again it’s just maybe we’ll be more prepared on how to keep mosquitoes out.

Everything was good but I think it’s over crowded. A extended line for check in, to eat and for the shows you have to be earlier or can’t see.

This property is stunning and the staff are very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed the swim up bar, lobby bar, and buffet. It is also a great environment for families and very welcoming to children. We really appreciated the nature trails and wildlife. It feels very organic.
