Majestic Elegance Punta Cana - All Inclusive

The staff were all top tier. Mary is the best bartender. The spa services were amazing! The casino needs an update. The property was under construction so not all amenities were available. All dining options are closed between 10a-12p and you only have the option of ordering room service.

The main pool was falling apart. Tiles everywhere. Very sad condition.

Really loved the property! Service was excellent everywhere we went. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool. We slept in late most days and as long as we got to the pool by 10 or so, we were able to find chairs. The resort did not seem full, so chairs may have been a problem if we went a busier week. Main issue with this resort is the amount of seaweed on the beach. I didn't realize the amount of seaweed and how detrimental it would be to the ocean experience. They have one beach cleaning machine that is shared across several resorts and clearly cannot keep up. Sometimes there would be huge piles of seaweed which would also produce a smell. We ended up having to spend most of our time in the pool rather than the ocean.

The family is very nice for kids n adults.. pool needs some work .. lots of broken tiles laying in the pool n the ends of the pools are cleaned once a day. They need to be cleaned a few times a day cause the scum builds up

Great hotel with excellent amenities and service. The beach was beautiful, and we only had one day with a bit of seaweed. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property.

I stayed for 7 days and found the property to be clean, quiet, and with good food. However, the beach water was not very clean. There was a lot of seaweed at first, which was cleaned up by the second day, but the water still remained unclear.

This review is for the Majestic Elegance resort. The place is huge, a good amount of options to eat and drink all around the resort. The common pool is missing hundreds of tiles, and unfortunately some people got hurt during our stay. They really need to do a proper maintenance and fix the areas where the tiles are missing to avoid more injuries. The pool also has a lot of mold all around and it needs to be clean. The bartenders are super nice, well, most of them, there were a couple of times when the bartenders were not in a good mood but it is understandable (by the pool), but I never had an issue, although, one day the service was not that good for a specific one. The restaurants are ok, for sure the steakhouse (Asadito), they have no idea on how to grill a steak medium or medium rare! The 2 times we went to have dinner, our steaks were overcooked and definitely not the way we asked for. The japanese restaurant sushi service was amazing, although the lady in the front was not friendly at all... again, sometimes I am trying to understand the kind of people they are dealing with, but I feel like they need to work on those people's skills. Flavors buffet is good, has variety, and they are always restocking the trays on time. See and Sea was the best option for dinner and the best service during our stay, we had dinner there twice. In general, the resort has a lot of potential and you can enjoy it without issues, but they really need to work on the maintenance for sure.

Overall it was good. Staff is super friendly. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Food was not great. Pool usually clean but many tiles were falling off. There were at least 15 stray cats that were living on the property and people kept feeding them. there would be room service trays of food outside the doors that cats would get into. We were there 3 years ago and it was not like this. Staff was great,

The pool has tiles missing everywhere. There were plenty of tiles actively coming lose while walking in the pool. Everything else was good.

The room was not cleaned as they mentioned when we got there. Housekeeping did not replenish the bath gels even after several calls. Twice we had to use shampoo. It was good the first day but afterwards not so much

Or toilet was leaking everywhere. Our double bed kept separating. It was a good stay but if these two things didn’t happen would would have had a better experience.

Due to the rain one of the balcony’s flooded and water came into the room several times during our stay. When we brought it to the managements attention no real solution was offered other then call for more towels to wipe the water up ourselves.

Hotel was okay. Our room smelled like smoke when we got there. They offered to do an aromatherapy treatment in there to help. Our toilet broke our second day but they were able to fix that. Hot water for showers was hit or miss. So was the AC. Our last night there we had a big cockroach in our room. I know they exist there and shouldn’t have been shocked. Just a reminder to keep your luggage closed and use the closets.

We had a great time, the food was the best I had in an All Inclusive Resort. The staff was friendly, the only problem we had was my room smell like sewer at night time. Not sure why this was happening but it was horrible and made it hard to fall as sleep, however none of my family members had that problem. This is a resort that I will visit again.

Room was clean. There was a small leak from the ceiling but it was good overall. Food was okay, if it was egg or potatoes then it was cooked perfectly but overall food was just okay. Wouldnt recommend you to eat the buffet food. Amenities and beach was very good.

Everything except for the WiFi and had issues with the television programs. Heard many complaints about the WiFi.

Overall pleased with the resort. Food was great. Beautiful hotel. Only downside is we requested a room with 2 queen beda and they were unable to provide. They gave us a room with a sofa mattress. AC in the rooms and refrigerators could use some updating. Fridge was always warm. But other than that staff was pleasant. Nice resort.

The basic rooms are the same size as colonial suit just a extra jacuzzi outside. The only rooms different are the swim ups. Overall the rrooms are very spacious, clean and well stocked. Comfortable place for adults or people with children. We are very happy with our stay. Enjoy!

We had a partial beach/garden view. Room was very comfortable, spacious, clean and close to beach, pool and clubhouse. Staff in all areas were very friendly and helpful. Drinks were very good. Bars and Bartenders were over the top, specially Anyelina and Santa by the Elle Clubhouse and pool. Sorkelly in the main lobby bar. They all made every guest feel special, by greeting them and some by their name. Food was good in some areas, but there's all kinds to please every pallate. Toribio Butler was our person Assistant and he made sure our stay at Majestic Elegance was memorable and enjoyable. Stayed in contact with us every day from arrival to departure. Will definitely consider visiting Majestic Elegance or Mirage very soon

The doors for the rooms need to have insulation. We could see gaps between the door and outside

We have been loyal and repeat customers to the Majestic Resort family. This was our 4th visit to the Majestic Elegance. We booked the Elegance Club package and we did not receive that upon check-in. I check in you're supposed to be taken to the club check-in lounge. We were not. We were put in a separate room off to the side. We were then told in broken English that they had no rooms available in the club level and that they were still going to give us the club benefits. But our room would be in the regular section. We then waited 45 minutes for a butler to show up. The whole thing was very scattered and poorly organized. We were given a $200 credit to be used at the logo shop or the spa in way of apology for not having our room. When we are finally taken to our room, it was directly across from the main pool bar and was very loud. The only request we made was to have a quiet room. We immediately told our Butler that this was not acceptable and that we needed a quiet room as this was a quick vacation for rest and relaxation not partying. We were told that there was no options available and that she would check for us the next day. Everyday was the same story. Nope. We have no rooms available in the club level and we have no quieter rooms available for you. We also didn't have hot water in our tub. We were never acknowledged as repeat visitors. It's very discouraging when we have promoted and encouraged others to visit The Majestic Resorts in Punta Cana.

The only friendly staff was the bartenders and waiters. The buffet could use a lot of help (like for instance keeping food warm and fresh). The restaurants food was just ok. Room service took forever to get, and once you did the food wouldn’t be fresh (for instance the fries were cold and half stale). This place was not as advertised- did not know when booked that couldn’t use full property amenities due to not being a club member.

Orlando, our butler, and the rest of the staff were fantastic. The resort was beautiful, clean, and food, drinks, and entertainment first rate - the beach was perfect

Loved our experience from beginning to end. We had a person assigned to assist us in anything we needed. His name was Osvaldy which did an amazing job at making any thing we asked come to life. The staff around the resort were all welcoming and friendly. We felt at home. Francis the event host was amazing! Very entertaining and friendly. Luis Miguel by the beach bar gave us an amazing service. We will definitely visit this resort again and recommending it to all of our friends and families.

This was our 3rd year going to Majestic Elegance and each year we always say we are going back. All of the staff is fantastic! Our butler Dario is AWESOME! Food is always good. Definitely try the Hibachi, Italian and the French restaurants. Club side is always a good decision, if not traveling with kids. For the golfers, the Punta Blanca golf course is in really good condition and the staff there is extremely nice and helpful. Definitely worth checking this resort out!

Lovely friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. We had a problem with our room on the first night which was resolved straight away the next morning. Lots of activities and a beautiful pool and soft sandy beach. Highly recommend this hotel.

From the service to the room and the FOOD, everything was amazing here. It felt like a dream. Rafael our Butler was attentive and responded immediately to any concerns. For my wife's birthday, they made her feel at home and truly like a very important person. If you are looking for a truly unforgettable experience, look no further!

It was a beautiful property. Only 20-25 minutes away from the airport depending on traffic. The resort does need some touch-ups since the aging is showing a bit. Staff was amazing. Rosemary from the Italian restaurant was the best and nicest! I highly recommend asking for her!

Overall the property was wonderful. Food options and service were great. What we did not like was: a misunderstanding regarding the adults only availability. We thought the hotel itself was adults only. We are older and like a quieter atmosphere. We could still hear the loud party music from the family pool at the adults only section and made reading difficult at times.

Amazing resort, with friendly staff, rich culture, clean, and right next to the beach.

Great property overall! We enjoyed the atmosphere and the drinks, but there’s definitely room for improvement in the food and pool areas. Cons: There was often a lack of food resupply, so it took a while to get items at the buffet places. Also, some of the pool tiles were starting to come off, which made it look a bit unappealing. Pros: Our butler, Erickson, was the best! He was always responsive and even provided us with some extra goodies. Not all food places were a miss, the steakhouse and the hibachi restaurant were our favorites. The drinks were great, and the views were simply amazing. Overall, a great resort with some room for improvement..

Clean Room.. Beach was nice and clean Bar and drinks great.. Property need Serious renovation.. Breakfast was good.. Lunch and dinner..So disappointed. Food Quality and Variety are way less than I expected .

I had a wonderful experience with staff, check-in and out process was easy. The room was nice, well kept, and housekeeper kept everything well stocked. We took advantage of the Swim-Up Bar and it was very nice and accommodating. Dining options was good it offered buffet style options for breakfast/lunch or restaurant style. My overall best restaurant was 9 Doors, Japanese 10/10.

Stayed here for a wedding and was impressed by the hotel but there were some shortcomings. There are 5 restaurants, 2 of which you need to make reservations for the morning of. We tried walking into of the restaurants that required a reservation evening of and asked if they could accommodate a walk in table of 4 and were told they were fully booked even though there were literally only 4 people in the space. We thought maybe they were expecting a rush in a bit but we walked by an a hour later and still only had 4 guests seated. The staff though across every restaurant was spectacular. Special shoutout to the manager, Emmanuel of See & Sea and Tony one of the servers. They made our stay truly memorable with their attention to detail and hospitality. And Christina who hosted all of the beach and pool activities who was so warm and energetic for EVERY SINGLE activity she led

The staff was wonderful, however, I suffered from diarrhea throughout the entire duration. There was definitely an issue with either the food or the drinks. and also the driver was late, picking us up to go to the airport.

We both got food poisoning at this hotel. It was beautiful and clean but this ruined the trip
