The infinity pool and adult area were under construction renovations. Alot of noise because of this by the only beach located in Minitas. We lost power and water for several hours. The cleaning staff could not provide any floor towels for the bathroom because they were short on them. No VIP Expedia room upgrade was given nor did the Expedia concierge explain anything upon arrival, service was not good from the beginning.

we were absolutely amazed with our entire stay. The villa was spacious and beautiful. Our daily housekeeper, Evelyn, was very attentive and served a wonderful breakfast every day. The grounds are well kept and there are many activities to do without leaving. The private beach, which we went to daily, was also great. There is literally no reason to leave the grounds. There is also plenty of shopping options, including a grocery store. Golf carts are available and make it easy to get around without a car.

A beautiful property with amazing, attentive staff! The service was friendly and so accommodating. The facilities abundant and the food incredible. Casa de Campo definitely lives up to its reputation especially the brand new premier club. Private guest lobby with bar reserved only for premier guests, premier golf cart and the suites are big, bold, and beautiful. You have a personal concierge to schedule any and all activities including reservations for dinner… i can go on and on…the beach is private, everything is private and exclusive. If people like marc anthony, vin diesel, shakira and more own villas on the property then it has to be great and it is! Food at the restaurants are all excellent even the food trucks were great. If you are looking for exclusivity, luxury, privacy, seclusion, and service look no further than Casa de Campo!

This resort’s attention to detail and service is the best I’ve ever experienced. The resort itself has everything you need and want - 4 pools (that I saw), a nightclub, bars, marina, beach, supermarket, many shops and restaurants, room service was on point. I can’t say enough great things about this place. And every room gets a golf cart to drive around - and yes you will need it. If you are a golf fanatic- this is your paradise. There’s also horse back riding, a beautiful Mediterranean village. Everyone was super friendly yet professional. Casa de Campo is amazing.

Siempre acostumbro a ir a este hotel a descansar y relajarme, pero en esta ocasión no fue así, hice reservación para una noche la cual no la pasamos del todo bien. Primero la entrega de la habitación fue mas tarde de lo habitual por supuesta revisión del supervisor de mantenimiento, luego, al recibir la habitación nos percatamos que tenia un olor un tanto fuerte, como a insecticida o producto de fumigación, eto lo informamos a recepción y de inmediato atendieron nuestra inquietud y enviaron 2 chicos muy amables los cuales limpiaron la habitación completa y de inmediato el olor desapareció. Al momento de dormir, tipo 3 o 4 de la madrugada nos despertamos asustados por un ruido fuerte, este ruido parecía como si hubieran tocado muy fuerte la puerta de la habitación, cuando me pare en frente de la puerta para ver si había alguien sentía el ruido desde la manejadora del aire que estaba justo en el techo de la puerta de entrada, este ruido ocurrió varia veces la noche completa y por tal razón nuestro descanso se vio frustrado por este inconveniente, gracias a la amabilidad de los chicos de recepción nos concedieron un late check out algo que agradezco enormemente pues pude descansar un poco antes de tomar carretera para ir a casa. Amo este hotel, la comida, sus instalaciones y las atenciones de primera de su personal siempre me hacen sentir en mi segunda casa, pero últimamente las habitaciones no tienen la calidad a la cual estamos acostumbrados a obtener cuando vamos.

To begin with, had high expectations for Casa de Campo because of all the reviews and the luxurious reputation it has. I came here with my partner to possibly host our wedding here and invite our family and friends before committing to this, We wanted to check it out ourselves. I think Casa de Campo is very overpriced. The charge for all inclusive is $200 per person per night, this is aside from the actual hotel stay which is costly on its own. The all inclusive itself doesn’t even cover all restaurants or bars on the resort, you can only order a glasses Alcohol, and there are certain things things on the menu not included. If I pay for an noninclusive, I expect to have everything included. For being so pricey, I would expect everything to be included in my opinion. Also, we got to our room. It was just a regular room. We stayed at the superior Casita, and it was just an average room. The AC barely worked, the currents that led to the balcony were broken, and had holes in them. I was very disappointed. Again, I was expecting something luxurious for the amount of money that was spent for this Resort. The upside was the golf cart, it was a lifesaver because everything is very far away. The activities included are non-motorized water activities, one round of skeet trap, shooting, and unlimited horseback riding. You are surrounded by a whole golf course, which is not included. The pool at La Cana Closes at 6 PM, which is really early. I wish I had more space for this review

The vacation planner coordinated the arrival private car for our arrival. It was not there. Be prepared for several drivers to surround you and try to get you to hire them. Our vacation planner also scheduled a pottery lesson for my wife but sent us the wrong instructions on where to be so we wasted our last evening sitting and waiting for an hour for no one. Our bathtub did not work in our room but the shower did. For a luxury resort, we expected all of the plumbing to function. The concierges were great, if we ever go back (doubtful), we would bypass the vacation planner and just setup thru the concierge.

The staff at The Premier Suites were top notch. Glenny was our premier assistant and was there to help us plan and schedule each day. Sergio and Luis at the Premier Suites main lobby were also so helpful they took us around looking at the properties and shared which famous celebrity loved where. That was an unexpected and fun evening! The food quality was spectacular and fresh. I will say as a whole the servers where at the beach or restaurants were very inattentive and moved slow. Example we asked for drinks on Playa Minitas and an hr later they were brought. Even if you went up and ordered a drink from the bar... Zero effort on speed. It's one thing to be on island time and another thing to see a group of 5 bartenders talking and ignoring the guests intentionally.

We will be back for sure - this place has many options for kids and adults alike. Only horrible experience is the Front Desk. Transfer from Airport did not work. Half the family missing on registration documents. Upgrade promised - and not delivered (only after protest granted). Front Desk is totally disorganized and everything takes for ever.

I HAVE TO SAY THAT EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF CHECK-IN. OUR ROOM WAS NOT AVAILABLE BY THE CHECK-IN TIME, SO WE WERE OFFERED ANOTHER ROOM THAT WAS "COMPARABLE". IT DEFINITELY WAS NOT! WE WENT BACK TO THE FRONT DESK TO CONVEY OUR DISSATISFACTION. THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT RECTIFIED THE SITUATION BY PUTTING US BACK IN THE ROOM WE HAD ORIGINALLY BOOKED. First time in Casa de Campo. Very nice hotel. Liked the beach with mostly calm water and no wildlife hazards. Liked the golf cart convenience. Rather slow check-in process. Seemed like a major process to complete. I requested nearby rooms to my mom and aunt and a first floor for them since there weren't elevators. These simple requests were made a big complicated issue and a sort of mystery and again more delay and agent coming back and forth from the back room. Then, one of the rooms wasntready and it was already past 4 PM when the check-in time is supposed to be. Another issue we had was regarding the reservation to Isla Saona tour. We made the reservation with the agent at the beach hut and she advised us to get our beach towels on the way out because the clerks at the towel station wouldn't be there early on the day of the tour to provide us with towels. We arrived at the towel hut only to be detained by a police officer stating we couldn't take the towels. Long story short we explained them the whole situation and they explained this couldn't be done so we returned them but it was unpleasant that at the end we had 2 police officers in front of my 76 year old mom and 70 year old aunt guarding them against taking the beach towels. My advise is that the tour excursion lady shouldn't have said that the beach towel people wouldn't be there early in the morning because it creates confusion and guests are really not allowed to take out beach towels under any circumstance.

Casa de Campo is a beautiful property. The staff and rooms are amazing. I love this place. I have two items in which I thought could have been better. The beach was a bit of hike from where we were. Also I would have preferred more options for a simplify dinner. The restaurants were high rated but at times, I would have preferred a simple sandwich or salad or maybe just a burger. Either way, I will go back. I loved it!

Loved this place!!! Would definitely come back again. The resort is beautiful. It’s a small town that has everything you need. I believe each room comes with a golf cart to get around. The breakfast buffet at Lago Restaurant was very yummy. The Minitas Beach was amazing. I also very felt safe since this resorts/town is gated and will need to speak with a guard to get through. Next time, I’d like to rent out one of the villas and definitely golf at one of the best courses in the Caribbean!

This is a beautiful luxury resort. The service was top-notch but be prepared to pay premium price for food & drinks. We did receive an Expedia bonus of free buffet breakfast for 2 every morning but we had to explicitly request that the hotel honor this because it was not originally included; otherwise, this would've cost us $90/day (not a typo) including obligatory taxes & tip! Besides the pool, gym, and 2 restaurants in the hotel area, everything else is very far away: the beach, grocery store, movie theater, marina restaurants, Altos de Chavon area. You cannot walk there, you have to take a very slow-moving golf cart which was included. Cars go around you very fast and upset at all the golf carts on the road. We did not feel safe riding the golf carts at night.

Don’t book this resort from Expedia thinking that you will get the all inclusive package because that’s what we did. We made a package reservation with air/hotel to Casa de Campo thinking that it was all- inclusive package because that’s what it says under popular amenities. We were shocked that our resort stay was not all-inclusive and needed to pay an additional $5,700 for five of us if we wanted the all-inclusive package. Both hotel and Expedia admitted to the mistake but both did not honor the all-inclusive package. The resort’s response to me was that if we wanted the All-Inclusive experience, we should have booked through the Casa De Campo’s website instead of Expedia’s. We ended up not paying the $5,700 addition cost and just paid as we goed saving us a lot more than $5,700.
