This is a very nice, new hotels but it is very far away from the main area of La Romana requiring you to take a taxi everywhere. The taxi and Uber in this city are quite corrupt and will charge ridiculously exorbitant prices to drive very short distances. DO NOT stay in this hotel if you are white unless you have rented a car. We had some truly terrible experiences fighting with taxi drivers.

Rooms are super nice as is the property overall. Beautiful views from the room balcony. Food was good but the service was really slow. Two burgers, fries, and a couple of beers took two hours.

The room was generally good but the coffee maker and the air con didn't work. It took about 30 minutes for simeone to exchange the coffee maker. Overall it was pleasant but not great.
