It is in the middle of nowhere so it is hard to find it. The staff is not very welcoming.

This was the best place we have stayed at so far in Iceland. Nice rural setting, restaurant on site with delicious food, and a fantastic breakfast buffet. The rooms were good sized, including the bathroom, with lots of counter space.

Our room looked over the meadow and was a short walk to the reception and restaurant. It was an adequate room and food was good. Breakfast was ok.

We arrived late and when we opened our hotel room door there was already a guest there! It took them more than an hour to get us another accommodation because the hotel was full. They tried to blame the poor guest somehow, but they had clearly made a mistake by giving the room to both us and the other guest. No compensation was made. If booking this hotel I strongly suggest making sure that they have the room available and not has given it to someone else.
