Only complaints were the street noise/traffic, small parking spaces, and lack of coffee. Coffee maker in room didn’t work and then went to the lobby only to find out they were no longer serving. Overall, convenient location to Scott’s Addition food and beverages and nice staff.

This is one of my top 5 favorite stays. Definitely a gem in the cut, the rooms were so clean and comfortable and modern. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The property is well maintained and the room was spotless. We enjoyed grabbing a drink by the bar down in the lobby and sitting outside by the fire pit. They had some nice bars nearby which we enjoyed. I would definitely re book there again. Everything is nearby, overall it was a highly pleasant stay. Huge shoutout to the amazing staff, your customer service was highly exceptional.

The location was very conveniently located off the major interstate. I saw a review complaining about parking for bigger vehicles, but so you know we were driving an pickup truck and there is parking for oversized vehicles directly across the street and the sign says so at the front desk. The hotel was clean and the front desk gentleman was friendly and helpful.

I definitely enjoyed my stay at this Courtyard. This is a newer property and is being well maintained. The location was a short lyft ride to everywhere i needed to be and close to many food options. Enjoyed breakfast at the bistro on my first day too. The burrito was huge! Would definitely stay here again

Came to visit my sister who lived close by. They first gave us a room that had a loud/broken AC unit but we were able to move immediately. The room was clean and the bed was good. The parking is very confusing at first since the hotel shares the lot with leased apt folks/reserved parking. Its not a quiet area since its right on the highway but our room wasnt too loud at night. If we do come back to Richmond will have a place to return.

The bathroom had makeup all over the shower which made me apprehensive about the cleanliness of the rest of the room. The lobby smelled like used diapers every time I entered it. And the foot rest in my shower was hanging on by a thread, broken before my arrival. I did enjoy the easily accessible plugs for electronics being plentiful in the room no matter where you were lounging.

Location was great. Right where I wanted to be and walkable to the breweries. Hotel parking space was not spacious at all. Front desk staff was cordial during check in. The hotel room did not have a great view. Hotel bathroom was not clean. There was hair shavings of the previous guest underneath the washcloths on the shelf inside the bathroom. I did not use any of the amenities but from what i saw they were all in good shape. Would not stay there again.

I liked the self parking and great restaurants and breweries only a short walk from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Room was immaculate. Shower and bathroom brand new. Very satisfied.

We were here just for one night to see Banana Ball. We drove up from Morehead City, NC with our daughter and new son in law. My wife and I had a pleasant stay, happy with everything. My daughter and son in law, big weekend out and a lot of money for them, had a room with AC that was not working. An employee brought them a box fan, but it still was unbearably hot. Bad experience for them, and depending on what comes from it, may determine where the wife and I stay...and we travel a lot!

It was ok but I told the front desk twice that my tv was not getting any movie channels and they never came to fix it the 2 days I was there. I don’t get a lot of down time to relax because I have kids so I was looking forward to just watching a movie and couldn’t.

This hotel was gorgeous! We arrived late so we didn’t spend any time around the area so I'm not sure how that is. I will say it is very loud especially at night outside. I swear the same car kept driving back and forth on the street outside of our room and it was SO loud that was the only thing we weren’t happy with.

I have two main complaints about the hotel. First, there wasn't enough storage. There was a low, two-drawer cabinet for our clothes. A taller, four-drawer cabinet could easily fit in the same floor space and would be more appropriate for a hotel room. Second, the traffic on Hamilton St. is very noisy, especially in the morning. After the first night, we asked for and were given a different room on the other side of the hotel, away from Hamilton. Much better mornings after that! One morning before 9 AM (we're not early risers), someone from the hotel cleaning staff came knocking loudly and insistently on our door to ask if we needed towels! Be sure to put the "do not disturb" sign on the outside door handle if you don't want a rude awakening! The restaurant downstairs has a very limited menu. We didn't eat there. The neighborhood is not appealing, although there are some decent restaurants within walking distance. Aside from that, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable enough. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Richmond, but the hotel was adequate at best.

Our first room had a dirty towel in it, and no TV channels worked. After we changed rooms, the TV worked the first night but would not work the next morning, although the lobby TVs worked fine. Water pressure in the shower was low. Service in the Bistro was slow and the meat was not good. Only bad experience I have ever had at a Marriott property.

There was a party in the room next to us finally at 1:00 am I called the front desk with no answer! So I went down stairs to find the desk clerk she was sitting in the lounge on her phone. Her speech was difficult to understand and she called room to quiet them down. Fifteen minutes later still no relief from the intense base music and yelling. I went downstairs again and finally she went up and they were asked to leave which they would do.

Just go stay there. You will see. But specifically - staff is super not friendly. No AC in our room, and there was no “sorry about that”. More like, “sorry no more rooms”. Then 1 min later, found a room. Front desk people not friendly. And paid to park. Minor thing, but had to park in a gravel, open lot across the street from the hotel. And they charge for that? Not staying here again.

Staff was excellent. Room was ok. For $400/night there wasn’t even a bottle of water in the room and no ice in the ice machine. When I asked for water with breakfast I had to pay for it. Not very cool.
