Absolutely LOVED staying here. Great location very near to Bryce Canyon and other hikes we did in the area. The beds were super comfortable, everything was clean and fresh, the shared bathrooms were clean and easy to access. We used the fire pit and it was nice that there was a picnic table by it. Our dog came along and she LOVED exploring and it was so dog friendly. Check in was easy, the camp is beautiful, and the starry skies! A couple of close restaurants and small grocery stores in Tropic (5 minutes away) and we were worried about being cold, but the tents and bedding were very comfy. Would totally stay here again.

We arrived late at night. It was past the time host was there for check in. Let them know we’d be late prior. Did not receive our tent number until after arrival. Wasn’t sure if we’d be sleeping in the parking lot or what?! Maps took us down some random dirt road. Drove around forever looking for the place. It was pitch dark, no lights and sign was tiny to the camp. Missed it multiple times. Finally had to call a friend to look at satellite and our location to lead us to the camp.

My boyfriend and I had a great experience staying two nights at Wander Camp. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming when checking in and gave us a thorough rundown on the facilities, amenities, and how to use the propane heater. The bed was comfortable and kept us warm throughout the night especially when it dropped to 33 degrees. The bathrooms were clean and did have hot water but I recommend showering in the late afternoon before the evening starts to cool for the most comfortable shower. The night sky was a beautiful bonus to staying here. Worth the rugged experience!
