Good- room was nice and clean, AC was cold. Clerk was efficient and nice. Bad- hotel being renovated, so walls and baseboards not in best shape. Only working ice machine on end of 2nd floor, soda machines empty. Breakfast was terrible, gravy was a pan of thin milk substance, no sausage in it, biscuits ice cold, eggs cold.

Great location for our needs... Sadly after staying twice a year for the last 4-5 years, this property has back slided on upkeep... Room TV remotes are maddening & TV's do not reset properly... Having gone from an ice maker on each floor to just one ice maker on ground floor to dispensing at the front desk because of inferior equipment & poor majntence... Its the little things that add up that make one think twice picking this property again in the future... Only because of caring front desk guy is the only reason that salvaged our last stay... Just saying.....

Property was in the middle of a renovation. Strong smelling fumes as well as hallways being covered in dust from plaster. People were very helpful and breakfast was good. If you’re renovating, don’t house people on the floors you are working on.

Nice place. Pros: beds were comfortable, bedside lights were great, breakfast was good but lacked variety over the course of our stay, staff was very friendly and in general the place was clean. Cons: chairs in the room were awful making it uncomfortable to hang out in there; in one room there was a creepy looking mold growing behind the toilet. While there was an ice machine, there were no vending machines with empty spaces where they should have been. As for ecofriendly aspects, there was NO evidence of anything ecofriendly. We were not unhappy with our stay, but there were several things that were lacking.

Smoke stink in hallway, too much outside light in room (trying to sleep), The workout room was not avaliable (which was one of the reasons I booked this in the first place), water pressure was slow and weak, it was in dissarray with work being done. My bed had a spring broken on the left corner of my bed. We stayed three nights - not great quality for how much we paid. Positive point: the lady who ran the breakfast was very personalble and h=great to talk with each day. She made up for the lack of quality. She should get a pay raise (Spainish older woman). Jerry Ernst - Ohio PS - We stay around Lexington quite often too.

The property was under renovation to the point that the rooms didn’t seem finished, there were pallets of flooring and whatnot all over the lobby. Our first room had no working AC, an empty space above the bed where maybe a picture was, and spots of blood on the comforter. Our second room was better but no working tv, had to get the front desk girl to help (she was great)! There was old furniture propped up against the walls all along the hallways. And down the hall there way a completely open room marked storage. Well it was completely littered with trash, broken items, furniture. It was really unsettling. Breakfast was pretty terrible and there wasn’t much offered. Watered down cranberry juice, no idea where butter and cream cheese was the first day(no signs or helpful staff) and coffee was awful. We had family staying in three additional rooms and they didn’t have working tvs. It’s like they put in new furniture but didn’t hook up the tv. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere so I’m glad we rented a car. The soda machine didn’t work. It was just a complete mess. Luckily we only stayed here for a graduation and will never be back in this area again.

Cleaning staff was nice and polite but the woman at the desk were not very friendly and honestly seemed perturbed when asked to even come to the desk. Breakfast was horrible!! Not much to do at the hotel. But I think the thing that got the me the most was the blood on my bedding. Which I didn’t see until checking out because on the side of comforter facing the bed. Disgusting.

This hotel is under renovations which is fine. The worst part of our stay was the initial room we were put in. Room 217. King size bed. Room smelled moldy. Had wallpaper coming off in the bathroom and mold on the ceiling. The most foul situation was when we checked the mattress. Mattress cover had pee all over it. We looked under that and the mattress has multiple blood stains. We immediately asked to be moved. The woman at the desk was very apologetic and moved us to 207. This room smelled clean and looked clean. The beds were brand new and the rest of our night was great. Breakfast in the morning was warm and tasty. The lady working the breakfast area was extremely sweet. House keeping was very loud in the morning for people that like to sleep in past 8:00 and should probably look at sheets/ mattress covers before putting them on for guests to sleep on. Overall I give this stay a 5/10. Started extremely rough but the desk staff and breakfast staff save it from a very negative review.

Room was very dirty. Big chunks of hair all over the bathroom floor. Vents in the air conditioner caked with dust and mold. Refrigerator was covered in something sticky and had an open cup and unknown liquid in it still when we got the room. Tv was broken and was not usable. Whole building seemed outdated.

First impression going to the elevator. Hallway needed vacuuming. Mattresses are disgustingly stained. Both sink and tub drains did not drain properly. Hole in the inside of tub. Elevator tiles broken in elevator. Did not eat breakfast because of overall impression. Needs a lot of work.

The room smelled like cigarettes, asked the front desk and they informed us that they was booked and didn't have another room to move us to. Then the tv had 4 lights on the screen that was very annoying to watch anything. The shower had mold in the edges. Under the counter in the bathroom had dirty wash clothes, from previous guest, dishes that had dust bunnies covering them. Around the AC unit, was wet from moisture from the unit covering up mold. The hall way didn't look like the had vacumn for weeks. The stairway was nasty, dirty, dead bugs, cob webs, the emergency lights was taking down just the wiring was hanging on the wall. The beds did not have a mattress cover, sheets had red spots, blanket was not clean had dirty and spots. The breakfast sucked, cold coffee, and lets not forget you had to push the door for the stairway up then out to open, very on safe. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, RIN AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

We were in town for a funeral. We had read a few reviews about the cleanliness, not being up to par, but the location was great for us. What I read about black mold was true. It was prevalent around the windows. Overall, the room was only somewhat clean. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and we did not complain about the lack of cleanliness since we were only there one night and I do not like to complain. The beds were comfortable, I doubt that we will stay there again.

From the moment we entered, there was zero greeting, in fact the man running the counter had no name tag or uniform on, just a plain tshirt. he barely spoke a word to me, didn't say anything about the breakfast times or where to find it, wifi, etc...the normal check in schpeel. Our key didnt work to our room, he tried the key, he remade a new key and that one didn't work so then he said he would move us to a new room. This room had 8 stink bugs crawling the ceiling. The wallpaper next to the shower was peeled back four inches with black mold on the wall, the room smelled like mildew, spiderwebs in the corner and dead bugs. The toilet seat had one bolt broken so you were fighting to stay on the toilet. The curtains were gross. Both coverlets on the beds had brown stains on them. The TV wasn't hooked up right and thankfully my husband was able to get around it. The only positive is the carpet seemed relatively new and the sheets seemed clean. I would not stay here again. No customer service and hotel needs a deep clean, some upgrades, bugs gone, mildew/mold problem handled ( no fan in the bathroom is a killer). It's conveniently located so it has potential.

Certainly impressed with the state of the hotel compared to a few years ago. Beds are super comfortable and a personal favorite of mine is all of the fluffy yet supportive pillows you get on the bed unlike most other hotels. Staff is always welcoming & helpful with anything you need 😊.

We originally had a handicap room, but thankfully they were able to move us to another one. Really I would have given 5 stars, but they really need to fix their WIFI long in page. All the needed information is in white and the background is also white. When you have white on white it makes it very difficult to see what you need to do to log on. Everything else was fine, but that problem really needs to be fixed.

First room I was put in on second floor was either already occupied or hadn’t been cleaned so was put in another room on main floor. Could not get curtains to stay completely closed without a gap that someone could see through from outside. There are hooks or something missing causing the curtains to hang uneven which caused the gap. Asked for something to pin closed but desk clerk couldn’t find anything. So after room number 3…I finally got to settle down.

Great location for our needs... Sadly after staying twice a year for the last 4-5 years, this property has back slided on upkeep... Room TV remotes are maddening & TV's do not reset properly... Having gone from an ice maker on each floor to just one ice maker on ground floor to dispensing at the front desk because of inferior equipment & poor majntence... Its the little things that add up that make one think twice picking this property again in the future... Only because of caring front desk guy is the only reason that salvaged our last stay... Just saying.....

I ended up with a rash after staying for 3 nights. My husband said it might be the detergent but they look like bites more than skin irritation. Check in staff was friendly. There was a band there making loud music each night. It was hard to sleep and many other patron we spoke with said they even asked to change rooms due to the noise.

Cleaning staff was nice and polite but the woman at the desk were not very friendly and honestly seemed perturbed when asked to even come to the desk. Breakfast was horrible!! Not much to do at the hotel. But I think the thing that got the me the most was the blood on my bedding. Which I didn’t see until checking out because on the side of comforter facing the bed. Disgusting.

I thought Sarah that checked us in or that worked at the counter at night was just fantastic and so sweet everyone there including the kitchen lady and the housekeepers were so nice. What a breath of fresh air to stay here will be back.

From the moment we entered, there was zero greeting, in fact the man running the counter had no name tag or uniform on, just a plain tshirt. he barely spoke a word to me, didn't say anything about the breakfast times or where to find it, wifi, etc...the normal check in schpeel. Our key didnt work to our room, he tried the key, he remade a new key and that one didn't work so then he said he would move us to a new room. This room had 8 stink bugs crawling the ceiling. The wallpaper next to the shower was peeled back four inches with black mold on the wall, the room smelled like mildew, spiderwebs in the corner and dead bugs. The toilet seat had one bolt broken so you were fighting to stay on the toilet. The curtains were gross. Both coverlets on the beds had brown stains on them. The TV wasn't hooked up right and thankfully my husband was able to get around it. The only positive is the carpet seemed relatively new and the sheets seemed clean. I would not stay here again. No customer service and hotel needs a deep clean, some upgrades, bugs gone, mildew/mold problem handled ( no fan in the bathroom is a killer). It's conveniently located so it has potential.

Flew into the area to hunt. The hotel was close to the airport making it convenient. We booked before our trip and finding the hotel to be clean with nicely appointed rooms and friendly staff was appreciated. We rebooked for one night before our departure from Kentucky as we were so pleased with this property.

Ants, peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, toilet was not fully clean, secondary security latch was missing, if my husband hadn’t been with me I would not have stayed there. Also the smell of cigarettes was overwhelming in our nonsmoking room and the bathroom door didn’t shut. Breakfast options were limited at best. Absolutely nothing close by. We were exhausted after a 13 hour drive and had to drive another 10 or so minutes to find food. Don’t stay here. It was only $100 and we were only there one night. I will pay more to stay elsewhere next time.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Looks like the hotel has undergone recent renovations. The carpet and wallcovering all looks recent and very well done. Breakfast was excellent. I will definately stay here again when I'm in the area.

Good- room was nice and clean, AC was cold. Clerk was efficient and nice. Bad- hotel being renovated, so walls and baseboards not in best shape. Only working ice machine on end of 2nd floor, soda machines empty. Breakfast was terrible, gravy was a pan of thin milk substance, no sausage in it, biscuits ice cold, eggs cold.

The room smelled clean. Plenty of space. Lots of charging ports. Excellent lighting options. Room with single king bed had a spacious sitting area with a simple desk for office duties on the go. Price was fair. We were going to stop at Danville. But they were all full. This motel had great parking and it was quiet. A great breakfast is included, biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, and so forth. Along with the cereals and toast. Not a lot of options for an old fat diabetic but it was excellent all the same. I think that if there is anything I would criticize is the breakfast. I tried the sausage and I truly could not tell what it was made of. Processed turkey gives me a real stomach ache and when I was not able to confirm that is was pork and not sausage, I was not able to eat it. I am pre diabetic and getting enough protein vs carbs was difficult.

The staff was nice and accommodating. The room was in good shape. The shower drained poorly, however. The breakfast worker was an hour late. The coffee was not made nor breakfast set up until around 7a. The coffee I put in my cup at about 6:45 was cold and was from the day before. I used the microwave to heat it up and drank it anyway. There is some reno going on, but it was all orderly. One very positive thing was the quietness. The location is really good.
