our room looked like it had never been mopped before. there was shouting outside our door in the middle of the night. the walls are paper thin and our neighbors were noisy. room smelled musty. lighting in the parking lot was very dim and felt unsafe. when you pay $79 I guess you get what you pay for but I’ll never stay here again.

Absolutely no frills - no fridge, m/w, or a coffeemaker in the room, not even any toiletries. A bit shabby. However, the room is clean, the parking lot is well lit at night and feels safe. It is very conveniently located, just off Rt 91. There is a good choice of dining options nearby, some in a walking distance. A very nice cafe/bakery is steps away. Overall, I feel that this is a great bargain.

This was the second time i stayed at this specific location. The first time was not the best experience, but i decided to give them a second chance. One of the great things about my stay is the fact that my dog was able to stay as well and there was no extra charges added for her like alot of the other hotels try and do. The room i had on this trip was not horrible but the mattress was old and the springs kept pushing into my back. The bottom of the bathroom door looked like something had been biting at it and the tv was out dated the remote didnt always work and some of the channels were just static. The onsite laundry was a disaster, the washing machine stopped working within the first 5 minutes of the cycle and the water that was washing the clothes smelt like sewage. I talked to the front desk and without hesitation the employee told me they would rewash the clothes in there machines wich was outstanding. All in all the 2 night stay was pleasent.

I did not get the room I reserved, there was no microwave or refrigerator in my room. The bathroom door looked like it was busted down in a raid. The AC barely worked and I had to stalk the cleaning lady for clean towels and trash bags because no one comes to clean the rooms or take the trash out or brings clean towels.

Room was clean; However, onsite construction was happening ten feet from my door. The room has no clock, no table, no chair. Most lightbulbs are dead. Lots of dealers and prostitutes staying here. No judgement: had some interesting conversations. But this is definitely not a kid friendly spot If all you need is a bed, shower, sink and TV, this does the job. But if you've got a bit more money, there are several better places in the area

I arrived only to be told there was no hot water, but it would be fixed shortly. It wasn’t! Also, I was told the type of room I reserved wasn’t available- all refrigerators and microwaves were removed. The staff told me they could bring one to my room, which never happened, even after numerous calls to front desk.

There were fights and drug deals happening in the parking lot and on the sidewalk right in front of my room each night of my stay. people blasting their car stereos louder than I've ever heard them ,for an hour or more at a time. police activity ... just an unsafe property Also, if you book a specific room, and it is not available, that is false advertising, bait and switch

I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience during my stay. The room was dirty — there were hairs on the bed, and the smell was terrible. It was clear that it hadn’t been properly cleaned. I’ve attached photos to show exactly what I walked into. Worse, the surrounding area felt unsafe. While walking nearby, I witnessed two people openly soliciting and purchasing sex services. This is not the kind of environment I expected or felt safe in, and I would strongly caution others considering a stay here. Cleanliness, safety, and basic comfort were all lacking. I would not recommend this place.

AC was so cold and we didn't know how to change it. Sheets were dirty (brown stains. Oil from the skin of the last customer was present on one of the nightstands. Really dusty towel holders. Shower had hardscale lime stains. It was really noisy with loud bangs through the night but that could have been from traffic or people walking on the out door stair cases. But the mirror and counter of the bathroom vanity and the floor was clean. The desk attendant was very kind, welcoming, and friendly.

I reserve a room on line with two full size beds and a refrigerator and at check in one was not available. I was given keys to a room when I entered someone was in the room sleeping. That situation could have turned ugly and embarrassing. I went back to the front desk and they realized the mistake that they made and I was giving a new room. On a positive note the place was well lighted at night.

I paid for a deluxe double. Told not available and was given a single room with a bed that squeaks and is noisy at every movement. The bathroom is yucky toilet broken and stained black in the bowl. Staff was rude. I had to wait 15 minutes before I could check only to be given a room that doesn't serve my family needs.

Staff was great. Once I checked into my room the tv didn't have connection, lights by the bed didn't work, the toilet seat was very old and looked dirty, the floor could have been cleaner and the drain in the bathtub didn't drain even before I showered and I had to wait for it to drain and then push the drain down and then start my shower. I did call about the drain and tv, but I was asked if I wanted to change my room and I said yes. Overall after a few problems everything was well.

First they gave me a room already occupied and I found this out by going to the room and the key card would not work. Got a room on second floor with terrible steps that was much harder to get to. Came back from doing something on the second day and the key card would not work. Had to go back down those steps to office and get it re-activated and office worker just said that happens sometimes-nothing else. Not happy with the service.

Reserved a room earlier in the week, travelled from the west coast, got to the hotel after midnight, no one at the front desk, couldn’t even get in. After about 10 minutes a guy came over from somewhere whom I thought was a guest but worked there. Said they don’t have a room for me, all sold out. He sees my reservation in the system but said they have a lot of rooms closed for something and said they can’t update their booking to reflect those rooms aren’t available. I never got a call, email, or notification that my booking would not be fulfilled. He sent me across the street to another hotel. Sold out. I guess I’m the fool for assuming he sent me to the other hotel because they had vacancy.

The front desk clerk was extremely rude and unprofessional. At check-in we had to wait about 20 minutes for service only to be to told that the room I paid for wasn't available I had to take a single room when I paid for a deluxe double. I never received any compensation. The bed was noisy and so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep. The cleaning staff were polite.

This motel was dirty. The bed was uncomfortable. The tap was loose. The toilet seat was broken. Only supplied with 2 small towels and only one pillow each. Noisy at night and kept getting the small of cannabis throughout the night from the locals parking outside the property. We booked two nights but only stayed one night. Avoid this place is my advice.

it was amazing for the price of the motel. the rooms were nice and conformable and the bed is nice and soft. the places i needed to be were so close and its right off the highway from a exit. the only thing is that it isn't the most clean but amazing for the price. would recommend if on a budget.

You get what you pay for. It's outdated and not spotlessly clean, but it's nice enough. And you're not going to get much cheaper than this 10 minutes from Hartford. I've stayed twice now and had no issues. Good enough place to lay your head and the people working were pleasant and accommodating. Some decent food within walking distance and a great beer shop nearby too

The lady at the front desk was very helpful. She realized that going to the second level on an outdoor staircase with a rolling suitcase would be tricky. She then gave me a room on the first level next to the office since I was a woman alone. Very thoughtful! I feel safe and I'm enjoying the great channel lineups, plus every convenience nearby.The highway is right by the motel ,but you can't hear it. Great price, too!
