It was a nice clean and organized room. I wish the hotel had breakfast… but the refrigerator, microwave and iron and board was appreciated and very useful!!

Place was recently updated, clean, for an over night stay on our way through town. It was a good alternative. Owners were nice and helpful.

This is a very basic motel with very basic remodel. Motel is right on the main road so it can be very loud with traffic noise. The beds are on a metal frame which can be quite noisy. The refrigerator made a loud noise every time it turned off which woke me all night. Overall it was clean. The shower curtain could use a wash. The bathroom sink drained at a snails pace but I informed the front desk and they were gonna call a plumber. My biggest complaint was the towels. Bathroom linens were pitiful!!!!!! They were old, thin, dingy and hard as if they had been hung outside on a clothesline to dry. We considered stopping at dollar general to purchased new ones but we were only there for 2 days. This place could still use some improvements to improve the overall ratings.

Very clean property! Highly recommend. Friendly staff, houskeeping works hard to make sure rooms are tidy and neat. Property is very well maintained you can tell they just finished renovations. 10/10

This is a pretty simple hotel. Low price, simple room that is nothing fancy. They are doing a remodel to update some things, still not fancy but it was very clean. The customer service though I must say was a definite 10/10. I was in town to run a marathon which meant that everywhere was fully booked. I mistakenly booked a smoking room and the lady at the front desk noticed by my outfit that I was a likely runner and wouldn't want a smoking room but they were fully booked. She told me which room she thought smelled the least due to the recent renovations, gave me multiple keys to let me check the different rooms to see which one smelled the least like smoke and offered to let me switch the next day if they had a cancellation. I also checked in very late and she contacted me while I was driving out there to make sure I was still coming so that I could cancel and get some money back if not. While I ended up staying in the smoking room due to no other vacancies I think the customer service needs to be called out as attempting to go way above and beyond to help me with a problem that was entirely my own fault.

We were pleasantly impressed with the room size, and bathroom size, and very comfortable beds. We also appreciated the microwave and refrigerator. Thank you for a comfortable stay

Generally, an excellent place to stay in Elizabeth City! Clean, well-kept, at an excellent price. The owner/manager is on-site much of the time, and is helpful, kind, and polite - brava! The only tick against it is the a/c seems a little unreliable: I like a cold room at night, and the a/c doesn't give a lot of options for control. But other than that, highly recommended!

Best place to stay in EC. I have stayed at other locations and this place is worth the price. Friendly staff and front desk personnel. Clean guest rooms. Well maintained property

This place was horrific. There were tons of bugs, stains and hair all over the sheets and towels, and it smelled very musty. Absolutely disgusting.

Didn’t even stay longer than 10 mins place was filthy. Food on th floor in the room and trash all over the parking lot

Listen, I never leave reviews but I felt it was my duty to let the public know about this place. We paid almost $200 for a room. There was NO HOT WATER and only one towel! There was a cockaroach on the bathroom mirror waiting for me while I took a freezing cold and tried to dry off with a towel already used by my husband and son. The owners of this place need to do a better job.

Toilet didn't work room smelt like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Shower curtain was moldy. Room needed paint bed was comfy and woman at front desk was very friendly.

Very nice staff. Rooms were dated but clean. Bathrooms were redone and new.

The hotel was not clean at all. We arrived late in the evening and were staying just one night for an out of state court appearance. There was hair and scum in the bathtub, stains on all the linens and towels. There was hair in the bedding. The floor had dirt or sand on it. The beds were not comfortable and the frame was a steel box that made a thunder like noise when you moved or get up.

Terrible experience. Room smelled really musty. It was so damp that even the bed sheets felt wet. Bed was really hard and uncomfortable. The base is metal so each time you turn over during the night it made a loud noise. I could even hear that same noise from the bed upstairs. Also kept smelling pot coming from the adjacent room. I cannot Recommend this place at all.

Beds had metal bases that are loud. Towels had a few stains. Otherwise ok.

The room was clean and the property was very clean. Neither bed or chair in the room was comfortable. The bed was hard and made spring popping noises when you moved. The chair had been attacked by a cat at some point. Other than the important sleeping part, the place was good.

Great stay for the value! Staff were very kind & attentive. Only downfalls (and its just being picky)- non-smoking room smelled like smoke; road noise is fairly loud; TV remote is odd with no guide on how to use; toiler is low-flow/pressure. But, room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable.

Overall was useful for a place to stay, but the walls are thin and you can hear everything like when people open doors and things like that.

Room had roaches. The staff was uncoordinated and double charged me. In addition tried to give us a dirty room but quickly remedied the situation. situation.

We really enjoyed our stay there. It was very peaceful. The staff was friendly and informative. We would definitely come back again.

It was clean, no bedbugs, I always check.. Staff wasn’t exactly rude but definitely not friendly. Except the fella taking the trash to dumpster. He was pleasant. I wouldn’t stay again. But price was right.

The front desk staff (Brittany) was beyond helpful and demonstrated a high degree of professionalism. When bad weather pushed my arrival/check-in time well into the night, she called me directly to check on my travel progress- and then waited up to check me in. The amenities are basic, clean, and exceeded expectations. Excellent experience and would recommend as a modest, reasonably-priced lodging option.

Close to college, facility was showing some age. Room was functional with some updates.

Great location and great price. The room was better than expected except for one of the two beds had some dirt in it under the blanket so i opted to sleep on the other. Behind the bed was dirty, but otherwise a great experience

Clean, inexpensive room for overnight stay. Close to a major highway, so a little noisy at times but not oppressive. Helpful staff.

An OK place, but barely. Friendly staff, room was clean, but the feeling of the place was a little "depressed". Far from the town center.

Great hotel at a reasonable price. Chose this place over others due to the good reviews, can’t complain. Highly recommend to those traveling to the beach!

Check in staff were very accommodating and gave me a choice of rooms. Very friendly, courteous and attentive. Location was very good and close to services. Room was very clean and spacious.
