The positive: it was ocean front and a short walk into the beach. The pool was clean and well maintained. The negatives: the bed had huge indentions and sank when sitting on it. You were sleeping in a hole. The pillows were good. The main a/c was broken and they had installed a window unit and you couldn’t shut the blinds because you’d block the air so everyone that walked by could see you. It is a pet friendly place and I knew that and I’m allergic to dogs. Usually I don’t have a problem because they clean the rooms. Our room had tons of dog hair everywhere. You couldn’t sit anything down without it getting on it. I think the only thing the cleaning person did was change the sheets and put out clean towels before our stay. There’s no way they swept. There was a broom in the rooms and we swept and got up enough dog hair to make a wig. This is not acceptable. They need to make sure they clean the rooms better. It made me very sick.

Property was right by the water, pool was very nice to relax. Ceiling is a bit thin if you stay on the first floor, but other than that great stay! Staff over the phone was great and helpful when the original code was not working.

Spacious lovely super close private beach access. Its simple, inexpensive, modern not old, king size rooms are accommodated with a full kitchen. The pool is lovely as well! It’s a nice hidden better deal than a lot of the more expensive stays. The space and nature that surrounds it make it more peaceful than a crowded resort building. I will not forget it, in the event I’m in this area spending the night again.

Our stay is what was expected...average efficiency. They did make a late effort to replace and fix some things in the room. The access to the beach was great, pool and grounds were not kept clean. The room was clean overall. Definitely pet friendly. Very close to the Ferry. We would return!

Great location! Couple minutes walk and you on the ocean. Which is beautiful! The property may not look to nice on the outside. But the room I got it was perfect. Big and clean looks like been renovated. Perfect for couples. Pet friendly.

The room was crawling with roaches not just one or two but they were everywhere. I killed over a dozen of them in the first few hours of being here. If it wasn't for the infestation of roaches i would have been happy with the room.

No staff on site. Mold in bathroom, dirty. Mold on mattress! dirty sheets, dirty room. Horrible. We have stayed here several times in years past and are sad that this property has become "less than". Lovely location but this place has gone downhill. Wont be back.

The location, the room setup, beach access, pool, kitchen, etc. was very nice. HOWEVER, the presence of ROACHES was disgusting. This morning when the lights were turned on they were everywhere in the room. The bathroom and kitchen were especially infested. Had we noticed upon arrival we would not have stayed the night. I can accept the damp and filthy carpet but roaches is toooo much. Would never rebook nor recommend a place that has roaches. This motel had the potential to become my families new favorite spot but at $254 for a one night stay I think it’s fair to expect a clean and bug free room.

Previous visitors and harsh weather have destroyed the AC and carpet is a nightmare. Just do tile!!! Evening fake tile or linoleum would work. Keep a spare remote on hand or window unit for when the AC fails. Staff will text and pretend to be responsive and then nothing will get fixed. Ask to switch rooms? Fat chance. Pool is clean, right on a beautiful beach. Restaurants near by. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. Bathrooms weee clean, sheets were clean, surfaces clean. Carpet was disgustingly wet and smells of urine and burns to be barefoot on. Why carpet on a beach? No idea. Want to watch TV? The previous guests stole the remote while on meth so it’s only Big Bang theory and wrestling on at full volume. Can only turn on the tv and turn off by unplugging it. There is a wall AC that barely works. It’s supplemented by a broke AC that blows hot air? Sleep in a pool of sweat! Enjoy.

This was a great stay! The room was bright and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was so convenient, even though we only stayed one night. Beach access was outstanding. This would be perfect for an extended stay. The only negatives : coffee maker didn’t work and the sink and shower soaps needed refilling. Overall, a great value and place to stay!

Great location for just a quick 2 nights. Mattress was a little lumpy and there were no blankets for the beds. The shower gets water all over the bathroom floor no matter what you do with the curtain. Otherwise great spot.

Was great but wish our AC worked better and that the room had curtains. The light outside still came through the window and it was very bright. Location is amazing. Easy proximity to beach. Dog friendly. Quiet and secluded. Overall was a great family trip.

Our stay was short but was only one night and started off with some trepidation when we discovered that there is no office to check in! One phone call however got us everything we needed. We had made the reservation about 2 hours before we got there and there was a note on the confirmation about confirming it at least 24 hours in advance!! The folks at H.com and Kees took care of us over the phone and we were in our room quickly. The room was clean and had everything we needed. As a bonus we got to go for a nice walk on the beach before bed. We would stay there again.

Room was not very clean,spider webs, only bedding we had was a sheet and a filthy bedskirt. I messaged and was told housekeeping would bring some bedding by and they never did. When i messaged back i received no reply at all

Hotel is good for two star with two exceptions: 1. TV - I have masters in Electronic Engineering and using the two remotes they give you was too technical for me. Getting it to turn on and show standard TV was quite a challenge. Volume controls except for mute didn't work with either TV 2. Hidden trick fee - Actual charge was more than $20 over what shows up on travel websites. I'm guessing many people don't realize this before accepting

Don't stay here! Our fishing charter and reason for our trip (driving in from 8 hours away) was unfortunately canceled due to gail winds. Sea Gull was extremely uncompromising and would not allow a reschedule. Stole our money. Reading through other reviews, this is standard practice for this place. I also hold Expedia partly responsible for supporting this. Many other great places to stay on this wonderful fishing island. Will never consider this rude establishment for a stay again.

Beach was right over the dune from the property. Safe, easy to access and quiet. Not very fancy, very little ‘staff’ around, but we weren’t looking for anyone to take care of anything for us, so that was ok. Bed was comfy and we had plenty of room. More chairs/seating inside would be nice and an additional lamp or two. Having the little kitchenette was delightful. Not pristine or new, but comfy enough for a brief beach stay.

Was great but wish our AC worked better and that the room had curtains. The light outside still came through the window and it was very bright. Location is amazing. Easy proximity to beach. Dog friendly. Quiet and secluded. Overall was a great family trip.

Great location! Couple minutes walk and you on the ocean. Which is beautiful! The property may not look to nice on the outside. But the room I got it was perfect. Big and clean looks like been renovated. Perfect for couples. Pet friendly.

This was a great stay! The room was bright and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was so convenient, even though we only stayed one night. Beach access was outstanding. This would be perfect for an extended stay. The only negatives : coffee maker didn’t work and the sink and shower soaps needed refilling. Overall, a great value and place to stay!

We have stayed here many times..We always love the place..This trip once we arrived the TV didn't work and we had others staying next to us try to get it working...said no cable..I reached out but no one came..After spending all day at the beach a tv is something that NEEDS to work...Plus the coffee pot was nasty...mold and sand inside...We will stay again but if this happens again...were done

The only thing good was the location. There was no soap in the shower, the kitchenette had no amenities, there was not a single chair in the 2 bedroom suite. There were no curtains, there were blinds but not room darkening so it was very bright early in the morning, plus the porch light lined up with the window so it was bright all night long! We made coffee the first morning and there were big legs in a cup. There was n trash can in the room. There were people shouting and swearing on the balcony and with no office there was no one to go to. Way over priced, very disappointed. I will not use Expedia or Keas ever again!

The motel was good we had one problem before we arrived which they sent us a txt to let us know there was a problem with the refrig. It was resolved the next morning.

The hotel was nice and clean. The amenities were good. The pool was excellent. Our neighbors in the room next to us were a little loud with their tv and laughing all night. Luckily they left 2 days later. We didn’t see anyone to tell about it. It would have been better if we could have seen someone and talk about it but other than that was good, and we enjoyed it.
