What a wonderful place. Very rustic but stylish design. Comfortable beds, beautiful view from the balcony and loved the idea of a hammock in the room for chilling out. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. All staff were friendly and keen to help. The natural swimming pools were very unique and a great way to spend a few hours chilling out between hikes or kayaking nearby. Only negative is be prepared for a terrible road for the last 7km of driving to get there!

I did like the property a lot, the road to get there wasn’t the best, and I did get food poisoning but I still managed to enjoy the time there. The pool area was so nice.

Bei der Tourbuchung war die Rezeption nicht wirklich hlifreich. Tour am besten vorab, beim Führer vom Hotel "Wilfred 1 809 694 9980" buchen. Die Touren sind wirklich sehr gut. Wilfred antwortet gerne auf WhatsApp. Er spicht super gut englisch.Frühstück war sehr gut. A unique, attractive, boutique-like facility with lots of attention paid to detail appearance. Very nice, stylish rooms. Excellent very helpful staff (limited English speaking). Somewhat “strange” partnership with neighboring facility where connecting ponds water features are located (a fair walk, especially the return uphill). Fairly isolated and difficult to get to with very limited activities.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, and we had a great room with a balcony and a fabulous view. The downside was the weather! We had so much rain, and everywhere was damp and muddy. A la carte restaurant meals were fairly good, but the dinner buffets (which we were forced to have on occasions) were not very inspiring. We also discovered to our cost that the hotel does not have any meaningful first aid supplies.

Me parece que para ser un hotel ecologico no es necesario que falten asuntos basicos como no agua caliente! No cortinas en parte de la habitación y las que tiene no poseen blackout lo que hace que el sol te despierte desde que sale! Las toallas parecen trapos de piso! Falta privacidad en las habitaciones ya que en el caso de nuestra habitación la puerta de la habitación contigua esta abierta arriba y los ruidos... se escuchan bastante.. esos detalles deben coregirlo para que este maravilloso lugar este mas completo...

Realmente muy decepcionado; de este hotel , pague por una habitación, con vista a la bahía , nuca me dieron mi habitación, cambiaron de cuarto , realmente , estaban fumigando y limpiando y me llevaron a otra habitación que no fue por lo que pague .

The views were spectacular. The room selected was very spacious and clean with a large balcony. The staff was friendly and attentive. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. We have already recommended Altos de Caño Hondo to other friends. Incredible structure and pools. It is worth the trip.

Para comensal. No llegue a ir al hotel puesto que me contagie con Covid . Trate de comunicarme con el hotel sin resultado. Expedía tampoco se pudo comunicar y perdí mi dinero.aun que había pagado por un seguro. Parece que no hay un personal que atienda el teléfono.

What a wonderful place. Very rustic but stylish design. Comfortable beds, beautiful view from the balcony and loved the idea of a hammock in the room for chilling out. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. All staff were friendly and keen to help. The natural swimming pools were very unique and a great way to spend a few hours chilling out between hikes or kayaking nearby. Only negative is be prepared for a terrible road for the last 7km of driving to get there!

Wilfred antwortet gerne auf WhatsApp. Er spicht super gut englisch.Frühstück war sehr gut. The hotel is in a fantastic location, and we had a great room with a balcony and a fabulous view. The downside was the weather! We had so much rain, and everywhere was damp and muddy. A la carte restaurant meals were fairly good, but the dinner buffets (which we were forced to have on occasions) were not very inspiring. We also discovered to our cost that the hotel does not have any meaningful first aid supplies.

I did like the property a lot, the road to get there wasn’t the best, and I did get food poisoning but I still managed to enjoy the time there. The pool area was so nice.
