We stayed in the Elwood suite which had its charm but wasn't without a sticky mess on the booth of the dinner table and another on a smaller sitting stool in the bathroom. Right at check in the employee who greeted us was anti eye contact and was more worried about finishing up his required spiel than actually assisting. Or informing us of anything. There is not really a spa in the hotel. It is a short walk across the street and through a parking lot. Entering the old building there is no direction and dark. Likely to turn you away out of fear or concern just to return to the front desk for help. It didn't help that twice we were reminded by others that this building was recently section 8 housing and a drug hotspot. The floors are all bare concrete with small rugs every so often. The plants are all fake that we could tell. This hotel is far from luxury and far from what they portray through marketing. The room was 300 dollars and the amenities were something out of a crappy highway side motel. Just stay somewhere else because they are not what they represent themselves as. Hospitality? Barely on a good day.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely area. Close to restaurants, walking/biking trails, and a large green space. Rooftop bar is very nice and the pool is very lovely. Amenities were great and the rooms were unique and super comfortable.
