Modern luxury walking distance from everything in Dominicus. They turned their pools into a beach...sand, salt water, rocks, and all. Infinity pools integrated beautifully into the native rugged rock. Access to beautiful blue Caribbean water right off the clifs. Super helpful reception staff. Solid air conditioning. Kitchen with sink, plates, cups, utencils, fridge, microwave, and stove to make coffee with stove espresso coffee pot, but no other pots (other than for cofee, cooking is not permitted). We stayed in unit Luxury #1 and it was excellent. It had a small private outdoor pool. The unit contained sheets (Expedia incorrectly states that there are no sheets) and everything else you need (towels, beach towels, ...). There is a small local market about 5 min walk away. This unit looks a lot better in person than the photos they have chosen to depict it online. The walk from the unit to the pools and clifs is about 2 min. Town of Dominicus was safe to walk day and night. We loved this place!

Séjour au Tracadero Luxury – Très décevant, je ne recommande pas ! Cet hôtel se présente comme un établissement de luxe, mais le service ne correspond absolument pas au prix payé. • Restauration : à fuir ! Petit-déjeuner facturé 18 dollars pour… un croissant et une part de tarte. Même à Paris, dans les plus grandes pâtisseries, c’est moins cher et bien meilleur. Ici, la qualité n’était vraiment pas au rendez-vous. • Excursions : très mauvaise organisation. Aucune information claire donnée à la réservation, et nous nous sommes retrouvés bloqués sur des activités incompatibles avec nos enfants en bas âge, alors que j’avais bien précisé ce point à l’hôtesse. • Parking : malgré une suite “luxury”, aucune place réservée. Lors des soirées, on nous a simplement dit d’aller nous garer à 500 m, dans un parking désert. • Boutique : rarement ouverte. Quand j’ai demandé les horaires, on m’a répondu que “cela dépend des jours”. Une hôtesse a fini par accepter d’ouvrir mais m’a demandé directement si j’allais acheter ou juste regarder… une attitude surprenante pour ce type d’établissement. • Départ : la restitution de la caution a été laborieuse. L’hôtesse a refusé de la rendre immédiatement et a inspecté minutieusement l’appartement (ampoules, tiroirs, lumières, etc.) avant de céder. En résumé, un hôtel qui vend l’image du luxe mais dont les services, la restauration et l’accueil ne justifient absolument pas les tarifs pratiqués. Une expérience que je ne recommande pas.

Complaints: There is no beach access from the property. Instead they have made a "beach" by putting sand in one of the infinity pools and on the surrounding terraces. Also we had no hot water for most of our one-night stay. They fixed it just before we left, which we appreciated. The area around the hotel suffers from the lack of beach access due to the giant resorts hogging the coast and walling it off behind an ugly 3 story facade . I guess a lot of Punta Cana may be like this, but it is very different from other areas we visited such as the north coast and Samana. Also, there is a lot of construction going on which makes it hard to find your way around. Having said all that, the facilities were very nice and staff was helpful and courteous. We had a large apartment for a good price. If you just want to hang out at a really nice set of swimming pools, this could be a great spot.

Beautiful property. No sandy beach but they make the pool area look like one. Con: The property gets used plenty via Day Passes where you pay for using the property and have a minimum spend on drinks/food. These guests have the attention of the waitstaff near the pools. The people who are staying at the resort do not get the attention of the wait staff. This apparently is policy

No direct access to the beach from the resort but still amazing views of the water. The restaurant food is pretty good just a little pricier than the other food options nearby. The villa was gorgeous inside and out. Gated and totally private. The lights in the backyard and pool weren\'t working - called the front office and someone came out to try to fix it but he couldn\'t so he said maintenance would come the next day but no one ever came by or called us about the issue...not a big deal but definitely a bummer. We were also told that our private pool and jacuzzi didn\'t have a heating element so that was a bummer as well. Overall staff were patient and kind. "Room service" came every day to clean the villa and leave bottled water. We weren\'t told there would be so much construction and renovation going on. Workers could be heard every morning in the back and front of the villa and the views around the property were rubble and construction. Still a great trip and awesome property. Can\'t beat the views!

The location and view was beautiful! The bartenders Ruben, and Harlem at the Esko Bar were great. The only disappointment was that the facilities are open to the public so you get a lot of kids and people that do not respect your space. I paid a lot of money and I thought I would have exclusive use of the facilities along with other paying guests. The second thing, I was patient and asked the front registration to please provide me with hot water. Finally after day 3 I got hot water. I travelled solo and this is not a place for solo travelers. Very few people speak English most are Italian or Spanish speaking.

Rent og pent, godt vedlikeholdt, flott svømmebasseng rett på utsiden av leiligheten, pluss adgang til Beach Club delen, som så helt fantastisk ut! - Her juger bildene litt, det ser mye bedre ut i virkeligheten. Dette er blitt en ny favoritt! Og vi skal definitivt bo her neste gang vi skal tilbake til Bayahibe.

From the moment we got there, there was no air conditioning at reception. We also spend the night with no air-conditioning. I am being woken up to construction at 6:30 in the morning just an awful experience the staff was amazing. The facility was clean, but we will never ever in this lifetime or the next travel there.Jg new jersey

I recently stayed at this resort and was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. Despite booking the penthouse, I encountered several unacceptable issues that made my stay far from enjoyable. First and foremost, the service was poor. From check-in to check-out, the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. Upon entering the penthouse, I discovered there was no soap provided, which is a basic necessity that should never be overlooked. Additionally, there was mold in the shower, which is both unsanitary and unpleasant. The rooms had a musty odor that made it uncomfortable to stay in, and to make matters worse, there were dead roaches scattered all over the floor. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that is supposed to offer a luxurious experience. While the restaurant food was just okay, the wait time was ridiculous. It took over an hour for our meals to arrive, which is far too long, especially when the food is only mediocre at best. Overall, I would not recommend this resort to anyone. The numerous issues I encountered during my stay indicate a severe lack of attention to detail and poor management. Save your money and find a better place to stay.

The property was clean and had nice pools. The food was good as well but I will love to see more activity at night so we didn't have to drive to Bayahibe town. Otherwise all was great and we will be back again

Tracadero is amazing. The various pools, the staff service and the location are some of the things that make it a great vacation spot. The area is quiet and safe. The pool staff are excellent and the food was pretty tasty too, at a reasonable price. Only suggestion: we arrived early, and while they allowed us to use the pool while our room was being cleaned, it was impossible to get towel ahead of our room being ready (beach towels are in the rooms). It’s hard to use the pool with no towel, so would recommend they change this practice. We also had no bath towels in the room. Despite this, we’ll definitely come back!

El hotel es muy bonito y cómodo solo tuvimos un tema con la TV que resulta no tenia cable para ver canales abiertos además de que la cafetera estaba sucia y no había jabon para lavarla. Deberían contar con una opción todo incluido como el hotel de al lado porque el precio en el restaurante es muy alto para lo que ofrecen.

The food is very good too. Felt safe walking alone at night. Definitely one of the best places to stau in bayahibe.

We stayed at Tracadero for 3 nights over New Years Eve. Our apartment was spacious and clean and I appreciated the extra amenities in the kitchen and there was a huge dressing area in the room for our suitcases. The food at the restaurant is excellent! The cocktails are also amazing. We did feel like the service in the restaurant in the evenings was slow and it almost felt like they didn’t want to serve sometimes, or they were overwhelmed. This was the only damper on our experience. The pools and views were amazing! We stayed as a family with our 7 year old son. We will definitely come back and would love to bring our extended family here to enjoy the bigger apartments.

It was spacious, confortable and with different areas to spend time and enjoy. Good A/C in common areas and rooms. An elevator would be good to get to the 3rd floor as well as conforters in the beds and not just the bed sheets.

This is a wonderful and affordable place to stay in Bayahibe. I thought the room was lovely and the people who worked there were courteous and helpful. EXCEPT: they do not have enough staff. So, there is a wait to check in and check out. And, the breakfast does not start until 8 am, which meant that both mornings I was there, the breakfast I paid for was not available because my scuba began in Bayahibe at 8 am. Note that while the people working the front desk are very nice, the management did not refund me for my missed breakfasts! È un hotel perfetto per gli italiani, perché ci lavorano molti italiani,

We arrived at 3:30 pm to check in and they told us our room was not ready. They did not explain anything about the hotel, restaurant hours. They did not gave us a tour or explanation of the facilities. They just asked for our IDs and for a 500 dollar deposit, gave us towels and told us to wait at the pool. At 8:00 pm they took us to a villa that was not ready. It was terrible since we made restaurant reservations for 9 pm. The hotel had a concert that night and we were told we had to purchase a table. So we had to pay for the concert. The menu was limited, the last plate arrived an hour and a half after the first one so out party did not eat at the same time. The waiters forgot about 3 plates. Service was not good. We asked for a cake to celebrate a birthday and they forgot about it. The water pressure at the villa was terrible. The staff at the reception did not helped us at all. It was until Elizabeth (manager) arrived that they took us to the villa that wasn’t even ready.

Everything was amazing - service, the property itself, the cleanliness, the views . Spectacular. I gave only 4 stars for the areas around because there was a lot of construction going on and the noise was not the best . But other than that definitely recommend and will come back !

Très bel endroit, très tranquille avec un accès à la mer agréable pour ceux qui n'aiment pas le sable. Par contre, le restaurant du Beach Club est très cher par rapport à la qualité offerte.

The hotel has a great environment, beautiful scenery, a beautiful swimming pool, and delicious food in the restaurant. I like this hotel very much. I will choose it again next time I have the chance.
