A beautiful hotel and very comfortable room. A couple of marks off, as the shower in both rooms, whilst looking amazing, flooded the rest of the bathroom upon use. As it was both rooms, it would appear to be a design fault rather than mis-use. Another mark off as it was not mentioned when booking through Hotels.com that there is a significant charge to use the pool/gym. We were only told this on check-in, and it would have increased the cost of staying by another €100 to our bill. We had chosen this hotel specifically so we could use the pool so this was very disappointing. The opening hours also made it impossible to use as they are very limited - it did not open until 11am, and check-out time was noon.

Un hôtel magnifique et très bien situé. Ce que je regrette c’est qu’en réservant via hôtel.com il n’était pas précisé que l’accès à la piscine donné lieu à un surcoût de 20€ /personne (pour une heure seulement) Je trouve cela dommage au vu du prix de la chambre que ce ne soit pas inclus.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, die Metro-Haltestelle ist direkt gegenüber, aber auch zu Fuß alles gut erreichbar. Die Einkaufstraße fängt am Hotel an. Frühstück (25 Euro) war gut, der Kaffee scheckte aber nicht. Das Zimmer war ziemlich dunkel, die Fenster waren Richtung Innenhof. Die Snackbar war nicht aufgefüllt. Das Bett war bequem. Das Hotel war schick und hatte einen Fitnessraum (kostenlos) und Spa. Wobei das Wellness ziemlich teuer war, 20 Euro/Std..

The hotel is in a central location but the restaurant options were limited and the service was poor as they did not have enough staff. On one of our nights there was a private function which was not mentioned at check in and the restaurant and terrace were closed to guests, if we had been made aware of this prior to our stay we would have reduced the number of nights as we could still hear the noise of the function until after midnight. Do bear in mind that if you want to use the leisure facilities you need to book in advance and pay an additional fee. Overall, it is a lovely hotel but with room for many improvements.

Very clean hotel with friendly staff. The double bed was big and comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect, close to shops, many bars and restaurants and the old city centre. We did not have breakfast here as there are many breakfast spots closeby. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Worst hotel stay ever. The rooms (had to change rooms for bathroom fixture and noise problems) were dirty and not maintained well.. We tried to make do during a labor strike by hotel employees. After three days without cleaning services, towel change, etc., we got our own cleaning supplies and basically policed up dirt and grime, months\' worth. Some guests were transferred to other hotels. We we\'re not made aware of this possibility. Talking to strikers it came out that they we\'re not given adequate time to clean rooms and were under intense pressure to meet the "quota". Voila the room cleanliness issue...corporate budget concerns over quality? Breakfast room was closed for three days. To be fair, the one breakfast we had was very good. Upon departure we were told that our stay would be fully reimbursed...2000 plus euros for this Five Star hotel stay... but as we paid through EXPEDIA this would take time. Almost three months later, nothing. After 5 emails to the hotel not one answer. After three phone calls, after being told once that it was being worked, continued silence. On the last call I was not allowed to speak with the manager "company policy." Are you kidding me? Too bad. Bilbao is exceptional, hotel location excellent. Management and upkeep are a very real problems. Stay here at your own risk.

En general, el alojamiento ofrece una estancia agradable, con varios puntos destacados que lo hacen recomendable. The Hotel in the Center of Bilbao is superb for a stay! The Roof Top Bar cpuld be more cosy. For a 5 Star Hotel I do expect that there is no mould in the shower.

Bedrooms - the rooms were sweltering and there is no way to control the heating in the rooms!!! Made for two poor nights sleep! The shower leaked badly in both rooms - meant the bathroom flooded every time you had a shower!

It is located on the Main Street of Bilbao across El Corte Ingles. The car park is a walk but we didn’t mind. The staff were very good and the rooms are excellent.we will definitely stay again.

The hotel is located right in the heart of Bilbao on a large crossroads, making easy access to attractions and the Guggenheim museum. We were lucky enough to be upgraded, the room was spacious, nice sized bathroom and sat over the entrance. This made it a little noisy at night with passer by shouting but only disturbed our sleep a little. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The museum is the main attraction in the city, we also took a boat ride and travelled on the Funicular for fantastic views over Bilbao.

We reserved a Jr. Suite and upon checking in asked for a quiet room. We were goven a room on the 1st floor. While it was not on the main street side, it bordered a pedestrian street which became obnoxiously loud due to the many bars. The room itself was a nice size but very poorly lit. The bathroom had a nightlight which was good to burn overnight. A tub was also available. We opted for the onsite breakfast and there was a very nice assortment of cereal, bread, fruit, sliced jamon and turkey, cheese, yogurt and a menu containing omelets and weekly Basque specialty items. One automatic coffee maker for everything from espresso to cafe Americano. The rooftop bar didn’t get much use by us due to poor weather: there is almost no seating with protection from rain.

The staff at the hotel desk were incredibly helpful. We were on Spain and did not speak Spanish. They had excellent English and so helped organize several outings and restaurants for us. Great location, close to restaurants, old town and Guggenheim Museum.

This hotel bills itself as 5 star. I would only give it 3 stars. The front desk was unfriendly, non-professional, and their spoken English was poor. They need much better people skills and training. We had a second floor room in the back. The front desk said our wouldn’t be noisy but in fact the back of the hotel is a narrow pedestrian street lined with outdoor cafes. It was very noisy, into the early morning hours, so management clearly recognizes the problem that the front desk claims doesn’t exist!

Great Hotel located very centrally - facilities were modern but service was poor for Breakfast and also in the Rooftop Bar where prices are high so would expect better service. Also disappointing that there was no complimentary bottled water in the room - there was bottled water in the Minibar at €5.00 for a small bottle which was expensive. Beautiful hotel in a great location. Nice rooftop bar as well. Walking distance to the top attractions. Lots of bars, restaurants and shopping near by too. The only negative was the breakfast. They were short staffed so there was a long wait just to be seated and they were low on juice and certain foods. There were just too many guests trying to eat at the same time and not enough clean tables. The experience Monday morning was totally different as there weren’t as many guests as the weekend so we got seated right away and everything was stocked. I would still stay here again because everything else about the hotel was wonderful.

The service at the rooftop bar and for the breakfast was terrible. Too forever to get a drink, never check if we wanted another, tables around us were all dirty and attitude behind the bar was nasty. For the breakfast only one server taking orders and nothing was smooth, never seeing this in a five stars hotel.

Seemingly nice hotel - however under very very poor management. Unfortunately our stay was definitely no 5 star experience that would deserve the high price that we payed. At first glance the hotel is really nice. The location is perfect to explore Bilbao. Everything is in reach within a 15 min stroll. The metro is on the opposite side of the street. However, the hotel is under very very poor management. Whenever you dare a closer look, it becomes clearer and clearer that something is wrong with this hotel. Sometimes the room wasn‘t cleaned at all or we were running out of towels or toilet paper. Inside the room everything is super dusty (see pictures from coffee machine, cups and window) or the closet door is squeaking ear-splittingly (see video). When you go to the gym and want to use the machines there, you mostly won‘t find any towels to cover the machines (as common even in lower priced hotels). The staff at breakfast is obviously overchallenged. The staff is really trying hard to compensate the poor management of this hotel. It is definitely not their fault. However, this hotel is definitely not on a 5 star and probably not even on a 4 star level.

The hotel and our room were beautiful and there was great customer service! Convenient location, just a 5 minute walk to Old Town Bilbao with lots of restaurants and shops, and about a 20 minute walk to the Guggenheim Museum. There is also a nice rooftop bar at the hotel. Parking was a little bit far, about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We had a very good experience overall.

Das Hotel liegt zentral im Zentrum und nicht weit weg von der historischen Altstadt und dem Guggenheim Museum. Der Flughafenbus hält ca. 10 Minuten entfernt, mit dem Auto benötigt man ca. 20 Minuten. Die MitarbeiterInnen sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück ist reichhaltig. Das Zimmer war super ausgestattet, sogar deutsches Fernsehprogramm konnte man empfangen.

No es merecedor de un 5 estrellas. La decoración muy bonita y el hotel está limpio, pero ahí termina lo bueno. El check-in fue lento porque solo había una persona en pleno puente de diciembre. El parking "cerca de las instalaciones" está en realidad a 500m, mejor que no se te olvide nada en el coche o tienes que andar 1km para recogerlo. Uno de los motivos por el que elegimos este hotel era que tenía piscina y así tener algo que hacer si hacía mal tiempo. Cuando preguntamos por la piscina, resulta que es de pago! Y no había mención de ello en la web. Encima no era barato: para 2 adultos y 2 niños, 60€ y limitados a 1h! Al dia siguiente, salimos por la mañana y volvimos a descansar después de comer, pero a las 16h no habían hecho aún la habitación. Os recuerdo que se supone que es un hotel de 5 estrellas. El desayuno merece un apartado por si solo. Esperamos 25 minutos para sentarnos. Luego otros 25 hasta que trajeron lo que pedimos. Mientras tanto tuvimos que pedir y esperar a que repusieran el zumo, la leche, el pan y el bacon. Ni en un 3 estrellas de playa en temporada alta ocurre esto. Por último, detalles que marcan la diferencia: el bote con los caramelos de la entrada se acabó el primer dia y tardaron 3 dias en rellenarlo. Desde luego que no volveré a este hotel y evitaré la marca Radisson en el futuro.

Very good hotel. I had a room away from the traffic and it was really quiet. The only negative was the breakfast. In particular the hot items. I think you really need to find a solution to keep this items hot. "Cold" scrambled eggs and bacon is not great...

This is an ideal location. We arrived by train and the hotel is right around the corner — and close to everything! The staff was outstanding and very helpful. Try the breakfast buffet; it’s a great value for good food and convenience.
