Wonderful stay in the heart of Lake Placid We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Adirondack Hotel! The rooms were lovely, spacious, and very comfortable, and the rooftop views were absolutely amazing. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Lake Placid, within easy walking distance of everything and perfectly situated to enjoy the town and Mirror Lake. There were a couple of minor drawbacks. We could hear the guests above us, which was noticeable at times, and unfortunately the main elevator was out of service during our stay, making getting around the hotel a bit of a hassle. That said, neither issue took away from an otherwise fantastic experience. The combination of the beautiful rooms, incredible rooftop views, and unbeatable location made this a great place to stay, and we’d happily return to Lake Placid and stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at the Adirondack Hotel in June. It is in a perfect location to Mirror Lake and the breakfast is good. The staff was helpful and the bar was also nice for an evening drink. The bed was a too soft for my husband’s needs, but nice other then that.

We had called a few days before to let the hotel know we would be arriving late for check in (early the next morning due to flight changes) and when we arrived there was no note left about this and the front desk worker was very confused. We had also paid for a lake view room and our room was facing the back parking lot.

I had called several times for issues on my bill. I was told each time the manger would call, but never did. Horrible.
