Power went out. Had a fishing trip planned. Couldn’t get out of the parking lot. No compensation offered. No breakfast. Room got extremely hot. Kids running up and down hallways. Weed smell everywhere.

Very clean, pool is nice, staff is amazing, housekeeping was in every day and the room was always clean when we returned. The breakfast is really good. I will definetly stay here again. The property doesnt have a lot of dining options close to the hotel but we werent in the area very much. Sleep swim shower and breakfast at the hotel.

This was a basic affordable hotel. Nothing spectacular to say but nothing bad to say either. Rooms were clean, pool was fun and the breakfast was good. Definitely worth the price and I would stay again!

Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was just OK. Price was good but pretty far from tourist activity. Only restaurant close (not walking distance) was McDonalds. Major construction right next door. Pool small & alittle cold - no hot tub.

The elevator wasn’t working the entire stay Friday through Saturday. The bathroom had mold in it and the laundry room is out in the open so people can see you washing clothes and the pool had ducks by it!!!

In my room I had two ladybugs that I had to kill, and I flushed in the toilet, and when I looked later on that day, two more appeared. When I was getting ready for bed, I pulled back the sheets, and it looked just like blood stains as well as my pillows where stained. I immediately emailed the manager with the pics and She try to accommodate me with another room, but I left because I was disturbed. I did not want to go into the hassle of packing up my things and going to another room. I was on a business trip and I contacted a friend to see if I could stay at their house. They welcome me even though it was last minute

Hotel was nice and breakfast was very good. Breakfast staff was friendly and worked very hard. The only negative is that our room had a “mildew” smell to it. We got used to it it once in the room, but upon first entry it was a bit overwhelming.

It was terrible. When we arrived the humidity level was really high. We went to our room, it was dirty, dark, humid and we had a 2 days reservation. But when we open the door we knew we could not stay here. At the lobby they explained that they lost power a couple of days ago. We explained that because of the level of humidity and with our kid who has asthma, it was a security and health issue. We ask for a refund but they refuse. We left. Never again for us.

The pillows on our bed had blood stains on them and there was no manager available to rectify the problem and no resolution was offered, there was also roaches in the room. I was completely disgusted! I will never stay here or recommend this place

The staff were very kind and professional but the room smelled of mold and must. If you keep the bathroom door closed it wasn’t as bad. But after a shower the mold smell would permeate the room.

Quiet hotel which was extremely important for me during my and my son's one night stay. I stayed on the second floor and didn't experience any noise above me. The ac in the room was a bit loud throughout the night,but nothing too disturbing. The bed was extremely comfortable. Basic channels. The free breakfast was great and an employee came over to assist me woth the waffle machine and was extremely friendly. The front desk staff are pleasant

The room was good and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Minor issues were bathroom light switch needs replacing, mini frig made a popping noise and shower water could be a few degrees warmer. Overall we had a very good stay here.

The front desk people were amazing and helpful. The lobby and grounds were clean, but that's where it ends. The room itself was a nightmare (broken shower and maintenance person who treated me like an idiot, unable to connect to wifi, hardest hotel beds I've ever experienced, hair along with a couple spots of something red on the bathroom floor, remote control that kept getting stuck on channels or not working at all). I kept feeling like someone was playing a prank on us. It was unreal, especially after reading all the positive reviews. I was directed to the GM Paula for a refund, and a week later I'm still getting the run around. So frustrating and disappointing - especially since this was our first night (and our first time ever) in South Carolina.

Hotel was OK despite bargain basement pricing. Lots of workers and some families that appear to be there long term. Mattresses leave a lot to be desired, there is two positions you can sleep, in the ruts created by the 100s of people before you. Should have been replaced when Obama was in office.

Place was clean. The folks were nice. Everything worked. We felt safe. The only complaint is that the mattress was the hardest thing I had ever tried to sleep on. I will definitely have to ask about the beds from now on.

It was a very clean and comfortable hotel. They just made me feel very uncomfortable about my service dog. Asked me what her service was, said they’d have to inspect the room every day, she would have to be removed if found alone in the room, etc. wouldn’t have reserved there if I knew they didn’t want us there.

Booked a room at 3am hoping to have some where just to sleep till morning got there 10 mins after i booked the room was told room wasn't ready till after 12 told them i didn't need the room after 12 just needed a couple hours of sleep so said to cancel it an now im refused a refrund

New-looking, well maintained, very clean, OUTSTANDING STAFF! We'd give them 10 stars if we could! On Friday, April 5th, the afternoon staff AND the evening staff were extraordinary! They were well trained, so very helpful, and friendly beyond anything I've experienced in 42 years of traveling for my jobs.

Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room. The best part was the person who cleaned our room (2 night stay) folded my granddaughter’s blanket and put it and her stuffed animal on a pillow. Above and beyond. And made a 7 year old smile…made her Nana smile, too. Thank you

The hotel was what we expected, polite staff, clean room, beds were comfortable. The only problem was the convenience store that was right behind the hotel and all the noise from loud car exhaust and car horns most of the night. If you want a quite night request a room in the front of the hotel and as far away from the convenience store as possible.

We only stayed for a night and that’s probably why we rationalized some things when we should have asked for a room change. Our room smelt damp and musty when we walked in and you could feel the carpet was a little wet, as well the a/c unit was rattling constantly and there was a bright light outside our window, so made for a tough night of sleep. The breakfast service was going to be a half hour late so we were unable to eat before having to leave for a scheduled activity that morning. The staff were so nice, so we really wished we had just asked for a room change as that likely would have made a difference. It is a great location and kind staff, just wish we had a nicer room to actually stay in
