Great location but No place to even park when checking in. Ridiculous. Slow reception. No parking on premises, the nearest is half a block away and expensive

Nice location in the heart of Porto and by the waterfront. A tricky issue is that you need to use a specific elevator to go to your room.

This hotel is in the very heart of where you want to be in Porto. As with many hotels in busier European towns parking is challenging, but if you can unload/load your car just out front and to the right of the hotel, there is underground parking a short walk away. There is also more affordable above ground parking a 5 minute walk just past McDonalds ( I know) on the river.

Fantastisk frukost. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Gymmet kunde varit bättre utrustat, saknade t ex hantlar eller fria vikter.

Second time staying here. The location is fantastic - so many amazing restaurants and bars nearby, and very close to the river. Staff are really friendly and the rooms are comfortable. The only negatives are, if you are in a street facing room, it can be very noisy at night. And the gym is poorly equipped with some machines broken.

Não tive uma boa experiencia, viajei de ferias com esposa e filha de 1 ano e 4 meses. fui colocado no quarto 2 andar e os 2 elevadores quebrado nas 2 diarias que fiquei. não tinha acessibilidade para o carrinho de bebe.

Quick check in and out. Overall quality and cleanliness was very good. On site bar and restaurant were both good. Only complaint was the hardness of the bed mattress. After sleeping on one of the hardest mattress I have experienced for 5 nights, it will take some time for my back to fully recover.

The location being near the river was really nice. We enjoyed walking across the bridge and stopping at all of the vendors. We were within walking distance of many places but when our destination was too far we had the convenience of the taxi stand right across the street. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and comfortable. There were many sitting areas throughout the main level. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of variety. The bar was a favorite spot to hang out most nights and the bartender was excellent. The bed was a lot firmer than I like but I slept well each night. The room size was generous as were the amount of outlets. I would definitely stay again.

Best part of this hotel is its location... Our room (323) was small and with an eave ceiling. We could not stand up in one corner of the room. The "carpet" was filthy. This property needs a big upgrading.

Une des 2 chambres réservées avait une vue sur un mur. Le deuxième jour, l’une des chambres n’avait pas été nettoyée. Il a fallu demander le nettoyage (dommage pour un hôtel 4 étoile). Sinon l’hôtel est très bien placé, confortable avec des parties communes très agréables.

Huishoudelijke dienst was niet goed georganiseerd. Op de 2e dag werd onze kamer pas rond 1600uur gedaan. Op de 4e dag heb ik om 16.00 uur en om 18.00 uur gevraagd, wanneer zij onze kamer zouden doen. Om 19.00 uur weer gevraagd en toen bleek dat ze die vergeten waren. De douche liep niet helemaal goed door, daarom hebben we nog een handdoek op de vloer gelegd. Die hebben zij gewoon weer (kletsnat) opgehangen. Op de huishoudelijke dienst na, een geweldig hotel, met een fantastisch ontbijt buffet. Vriendelijk personeel.

Our room had very little natural light as it faced a building very close by. The lighting in room was insufficient. We did not have breakfast there as we left very early to catch our flight. The location was excellent. Only for the location we would stay there again but would ask for a better room with more light.

Terrible, our room was dark with one small window that was locked with a key that didn’t allow us to get any fresh air.

The location was awesome but my room was disappointing. It was on the first floor and didn’t have a window. There was a door that opened to a brick wall. The room and bathroom were very dark, even depressing. The air conditioning was excellent, the hot water came and went. The WiFi was slow and went down for a day making it difficult to get anything done.

Room was overall clean, it can be noisy, you can hear the neighbours. Here’s a big one: WIFI didn’t work the whole time we were there, and staff just says: we will let “them” know. I definitely don’t think it’s a 4- star hotel. Location is great though. Be aware that the safe is not bolted in, so someone can walk off with the safe. Room is quite dated. Staff also wasn’t too friendly in comparison with all the other hotels we stayed at in Portugal.

I got a room on the street side and it was very noisy. The train woke me up 3 times during the night. It’s unfortunate that they’re so close to the train because otherwise the hotel was amazing. Clean, comfortable, beautiful design, great customer service and amazing location.

Rooms very small our window view was of a concrete wall. Was told the bar would have a menu of sandwiches and snacks…… they offered only 3 options when we got there. That being said…… the staff were alll very nice and helpful and accommodating

Can’t beat the location! Staff were very accommodating when we asked to move room due to street noise.

The property is in a perfect location however the rooms are small, ill equipped for accommodating wardrobe and the beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. We could not get a good nights sleep due to the terrible mattresses. My husband slept on the small sofa due to his back issues. Additionally, the bathroom was poorly lit, not suitable for grooming.

When I made reservations for this property, there were several options for rooms and beds at different price points. I selected the more than $50/night price markup for a king-sized mattress. When we arrived, we were given two twin mattresses. We were told by the girl with the "FATE" tattoos on her fingers that there was no guarantee of mattress size when we checked-in and that there was no refund of the difference in price despite paying a substantial upcharge for something that was part of the booking process. Based on this experience, and losing money, and their"no guarantees" policy, I don\'t see that it makes sense to book this hotel online. The price range is too great not to have them guarantee their rooms and not refund the price difference when they intentionally take your money for something that they likely can\'t deliver. Otherwise, great location and clean, but not honorable.

Staff was lovely! The hotel itself is beautiful and easy to find. We loved the location, easy walking and many food options near by. We will definitely be back to this hotel when we’re in Porto again!

We are disappointed! We got shock when we came back to our room the day that the receptionist told us that we can move to a lower floor room without the extra 10 steps of the original room. We were told they are moving our room at 3pm, we told the staff, we will be back before 3pm we still have more things to pack. But, when we came back to our room, everything all gone, and the safe is empty and open!! We got very nervous, what happening? We went downstairs to us , she said she had the cleaning lady to pack everything for us. I asked what about my personal items in safe? That is one thing they should never touch! We traveled around the world staying many hotels always the hotel staffs will reminding you to remove your personal item in the safe, they won't go to open the safe especially we are still the guess there. We were told they will help us to carry the baggage for us, never mentioned they will go to the safe and move our passport, cash, and jewelry out, without our present in the room. The worst is next, after all the argument. She said our personal belonging is with the front desk. When I went there with her, i cant believe my eyes, they just leave all my items right at the reception counter, open area that anyone can just pick it up. I was more shocked at that point!! Why no common sense, these are vauleable items, at least should have keep it in the lock drawer and instead of just left in the open counter area that many people in and out can see it. I am

The hotel layout was awkward. The front desk clerk were not very "warm". Location was perfect.

After a long trip, we woke up at 11am and missed the breakfast - breakfast was ended at 10:30am. We had 3rooms in this hotel as we were party of 7. Breakfast was all pre paid in advance by travel agency so there was no option the get money back. When we arrive to lobby, all they said sorry you missed it, put policy is breakfast ends at 10:30am. They didn’t offer anything to make us feel better - no coffee, no water, no snacks, no partial credit towards lunch (we were willing to have lunch at their restaurant and pay the difference). Even though we fully paid breakfast to this hotel but we were able to get nothing. Instead went out to another restaurant outside and got lunch somewhere else. I found this attitude, not Customer’e friendly or accommodating ):

I unintentionally made two reservations within minutes due to what appears to have been connection issues. The hotel clerk informed me of this, and I immediately started the process of cancelling one of the rooms. Despite the fact that the bookings were made only minutes apart and that I used just one room, hotel management refused to cancel the duplicate reservation or show any flexibility. This was not an attempt to misuse the system — it was an obvious booking error that could have been resolved with basic understanding and good customer service. Instead, the hotel chose to prioritize policy over fairness. Experiences like this are a clear example of how rigid profit-driven decisions can override common sense and customer care. The stay itself was fine, but the handling of this situation left a disappointing impression and made the experience feel unnecessarily rigid.

Staff at check-in and check-out not friendly or inviting did not providing any information about hotel other than how to find the room. Charged €2.50 for a tiny bottle of water from the mini bar, if we knew this was not complimentary we could have purchased elsewhere at a reasonable price. Kettle in room didnt work so could not have tea/coffee. Beds were twin when booked a double, a bit hard but overall comfortable sleep. Great location in town, wish the atmosphere matched the 4* rating.

Very well located at the bottom of the hills by the river. You can walk up the hills or get the tram which is 100m away or get a taxi from across the road.

This hotel is in the perfect location and near basically anything you’d want to visit in Porto! The room was very nice, clean, and well equipped, and the staff were all very friendly. We were on the 2nd floor with windows facing the road and didn’t have any issues with noisiness. Would stay here again.

Hotel de localização privilegiada, pertíssimo do Cais da Ribeira, com vários restaurantes e bares por perto. Quarto muito bom, apesar de isolamento acústico inexistente, o que lhe faz acordar invariavelmente muito cedo pelo barulho de tráfego. Tem um banheiro excelente, com banheira e bidê. Limpeza muito boa. Atendentes de portaria não muito corteses, mas o suficiente para não se ter problemas. Outro grande problema é ausência de estacionamento e dificuldade para descer bagagens, se estiver com carro alugado. Retornaria, caso vá novamente à encantadora Porto.

The hotel is great but it is on a congested street with cars and buses. One street from the water with many restaurants and activities.

Loved the location of the hotel. Room was lovely and comfortable although a little dark. Staff were friendly and helpful as well as being knowledgeable about the products they served. Food in the restaurant was delicious and the drinks menu varied. The only thing the hotel could improve on was staff numbers. On an evening, only one serving at the bar so often we'd be waiting a while to get served while the took their break or do a room service order.
