Indoor pool is ice cold.Jacuzzi broken.Rooms were clean.

Morning front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was limited. Outside seating was unusable, dirty and uninviting. Ice maker out of ice 3 of 4 times attempted to use. Room was comfortable. Workout room was a plus. Lots of equipment to use. I would come stay here again.

Was an alright hotel. Constantly out of coffee and breakfast items for a busy weekend. Ice machines were broken. Would try a different hotel in the area before returning, but would return if had too.

While the hotel and our room were in generally good condition we did find a few issues worth noting... - There are signs in the breakfast area indicating there is a $15 charge for taking food to your room (this is a first for me and I've stayed in a lot hotels for both business and pleasure). - In our room, we found a charging adapter (for a laptop) and a used tooth brush in the hair dryer bag - makes you wonder how thorough the cleaning staff is actually cleaning the room. - Also in our room, the towel rack (near the sink) was not secured (with the tightening screw) and came off the wall several times. We also found a similar issue with the towel rack in the bathroom/shower area. - Our room was on the third floor and the ice machine was out of order so we were forced to used the next closest machine on the second floor. This ice machine, thru the first two days, was very difficult to get ice out of even though the display showed the ice bin full. On the positive side... the bed was comfortable, the shower worked well (hot water and firm flow), the in-room refrigerator worked well and the area around our room was fairly quiet for a holiday weekend.

Stayed 2 years ago and it was a 4 star. This time it was very dirty. Carpets in hall and stairs were dirty. The cleaning service was outside our room when we checked in and never used the vacuum. There were 3 ice makers and all three were out and staff was not friendly about it. They didnt care. The swimming pool was cold. There was no country Inn cookies.

The hot tub was broken, and I was very disappointed with that situation

From broken ice machines to expired milk it was less than I have come to expect from Country Inn's. The staff was courteous though and attentive to needs.

This property was 10 minutes from the Devos center, clean, shopping center 10 minutes away. Only down feature was there pictures state they have a jacuzzi in there swimming area And they have permanently closed it down.

Didn't like the long hair in the bed&the bathroom had mold&mildew!!!

Room was not clean, sink wasn’t functioning properly had to call front desk. Had to put towels on ground to walk floor and carpet was disgusting. Food looked gross.

Room was dirty, hairs left in bathtub, dirty wash rag and stained sheets.

The door to enter the room was stained with coffee, in the bathroom there was a roll of open bathroom paper between the towels, under the sofa bed there was garbage. The mirrors were dirtyThe bed was not well made. we stayed in that hotel because we had no choice and we were tired of driving. but they should improve the cleaning service. breakfast when we went down there were no sausages or eggs when the bad cold sausages brought it

The room was very clean.

Hotel room was filthy. Hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. There were pumpkin seeds next to the bed, gross. All the towels had stains. Bunch of crud in the corner in the bathroom. Bed seemed clean and comfy. Service at check in was weird to say the least, it took the lady like fifteen minutes to check us in.

The hotel was dirty overall. Coffee was cold. Shower caulk was dirty and needed to be replaced.

Had to switch rooms after we found our floor soaking wet from the air conditioner. This would also explain the mildew smell when we first arrived.

The hotel looks nice from the outside and the check in/out process is easy but the room itself was gross. My children found a used needle/syringe near the pull-out bed (couch) and when we reported it, they removed the needle but did not even offer us a new room. When we reported it to who we booked through, they tried to get the situation covered for us but the hotel refused to be accommodating.

Room was very dirty, the bed uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when you move around.

The room faced 28th Street and the traffic was incredibly noisy, loud cars and motorcycles. Made it kind of hard to sleep.

The person above me woke me up at 10pm and made noise by walking around until12:30 keeping me up. The toilet seat needed adjustment.

Did not have hot water at first problem was fixed. Also shower head was horrible!

Room was not clean. Bathroom had no door. NO PRIVACY.

The property is close to the highway and walking distance to downtown Grandville. The room seemed clean, but toilet seat was about ready to come off and when you opened the shower door it made a horrible noise. Bed comfort was avg and the breakfast had cold and hot options. Overall stay was fine for the cost, but may look elsewhere if I return to the area.

It was a nice stay for what it was. A quick one night stay for travel. The the furniture in the room was just cheap presswood and the bathroom floor was slippery when wet. The continental breakfast was good. It was clean convenient and overall OK just not as upscale as some other hotel options.

Sliding barn door on bathroom does not provide adequate privacy. Toilet paper holder was loose/broken. Toilet seat was very loose and needs to be tightened. Room 313. Bed and a/c were comfortable.

The hotel is updated and clean. Our shower had a sliding door that would t stay closed. I requested daily housekeeping but it didn’t happen. We went to breakfast at 8:15am and they were out of eggs, yogurt, sausage and coffee. I didn’t have time to wait but they said they were getting more.

Comfortable stay, very nice room, plenty of space

Rooms were clean and big. Our toilet overflowed. While checking in the receptionist took and phone call and made us wait while he argued with a woman trying to cancel her room but it was too late. This morning housekeeping walked in while we were still in our room 9:45am and my daughter was changing. No knock just came in.

Arrived at midnight. Rang bell and waited for 12 minutes for someone to finally come to county. She was unable to get me checked in due to an authorization issue on the computer system. I had to ask twice for an update as I stood there for 15 minutes and she didn’t say a word to me. She called the GM over and over with no answer.I asked for a room and she couldn’t check me in she said. At 1252, the manager called back and helped her get me checked in. I stood up there for 52 minutes and reserved days in advance. No apologies, nothing. Terrible communication,terrible customer service. Room was fine.

The check in process was poorly handled by the hotel and hotels.com. We reserved 2 rooms and paid for same in advance. The hotel could not find our second reservation, refused to call hotels.com and insisted that we pay for the second room at a higher rate. It was resolved after much hassling with the desk clerk which we did not appreciate. We were tired upon arrival and had prepaid for our rooms to avoid problems. We did not appreciate the hassle. The rooms were fine.

Breakfast was good and provided a few practical choices. Friendly staff and clean premises.

Great customer service, friendly and helpful. I thought I left something behind and they checked to make sure I didn't. Large rooms and quiet. Only small draw back beds could be little softer but that more a personal preference. JoAnn (hopefully spelled right) was wonderful during check-in and during small talk while entering or leaving. Will stay here anytime I'm in town.

We were very impressed with this location. It is close to family for us but also very easy to access for the city as well. The staff were very pleasant and helpful but their willingness to help went above and beyond in our estimation. When we realized that we had forgotten to pack up our personal pillows. One call got housekeeping to find them and a second got them boxed up and on route back to our home. We will be back.

Beautiful building, terrible service! Front desk unattended. Push the buzzer and waited 10 minutes to check in, still no one showed. Went to dinner came back. Same scenario. I called the hotel phone number and the desk phone started ringing and the desk clerk came running. He scolded me for doing that. Breakfast bar stocked or unstacked, depending on who was working. One morning, no bananas or apples. I asked desk attendant if he could check on apples or bananas. He told me because there weren’t any out. They probably didn’t have any. I said, would you mind checking anyway. He checked and came back out with apples. He said the nighttime person probably forgot to stock it. Evidently on the shift change no checking on the status of anything. Radison should send in the management team and straighten it out or take their name off the building. Would not recommend, would not go back.

I booked my room on a pay at check in. Upon arrival I was notified they do not accept cash and that they do not allow the transaction to be split, it had to be all on one credit or debit card. I informed him that there was no mention of that in the booking process nor is there any posted signage in site. When I asked for a manager he called and asked and the phone call literally was less than 1 minute with a response of no. While I was trying to find a solution on my end sign I had visa gift cards, som patrons came and asked what time the pool closes and he told them it closed at 10pm, per their we site it closes at 11pm. Unfortunately I could not find a solution, so I asked about being charged for the room to the card I reserved it under and he said he did not know. So I started a live chat with an Expedia Representative and they could not cancel my reservation since it was past that time but said they’d reach out the hotel but in the meantime talk to the hotel. I again asked the gentleman at the desk if he could cancel my reservation and he said he could not. I asked then if I’d be marked as a no show and he said yes. I explained that I did not feel like it is right that I be marked as a no show since I’m here willing to pay but not in the manor you will accept. I asked if I could get the name and number of the manager and he told me I could call tomorrow. I then asked if I could leave a message he said their system doesn’t allow them to do that.

Stay away! Upon entering my room it was clearly not cleaned. Bathroom had hairs and dirt on the shower floor and on the bathroom floors. Garbage was in our room, room was musty and smelled. Tv remote didn’t work. The a/c kept shutting off and all night long it sounded like someone underneath us was using a drill. Good luck getting ahold of the manager I tried multiple times prior to arrival to ask the manager a question and no response. Now the manager has been telling me via chat they would contact me and so sorry for the delay yet had still failed to contact me. I will be contacting corporate at this point. AVOID this hotel!

Convenient to my destination

Nothing terrible about the location, just not attractive as it is in an industrial area

We stayed here as we were in town for concerts at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids. The hotel was right off the highway and a quick ten minute ride to downtown. The hotel is next to a large castle like building. It’s cool to see right outside your window. The hotel was clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was average continental. I grabbed a banana which is all I needed. I’d stay again if visiting Grand Rapids. This hotel was way cheaper than the downtown hotels.

It was confusing on where the drive was, I missed it. But once I figured that out, the hotel was clean, quiet and the room was amazing. It had a great shower and the bed was comfortable. The couch was comfortable and I could find something to watch on the TV. I couldn't hear the outside noise of the busy road or the apartment complex right next door. It was a nice place to stay and relax after a long day of conferences.

Last minute booking when we decided to go to Michigan for quick getaway. The hotel was close enough that we were able to uber back and forth to downtown Grand Rapids at an affordable price.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast area was very clean and food was excellent. Hotel is located on a busy street so I did hear truck traffic all night. There is no onsite dining. All in all I will stay at this hotel for future trips.

Jada at check in was great. Two ice machines were out of order and I couldn’t find another one. Hot breakfast in the morning was not refilled in a timely manner but it was not the front desk clerk’s fault as she was handling both check outs and breakfast herself (at the same time) and she kept apologizing. The manager should have ensured there was ample staff. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Great location to go to a concert at the Arena.

The breakfast was NOT good. My stomach was upset, the milk was curdled, the bread was stale. Not a great place for breakfast, specially for vegetarians (eggs included)

Problems with the drains and the toilet in the bathroom.Had to sit with a clogged toilet for a while no maintenance person to come unclog toilet we ended up having to do it ourselves.Food left in the freezer in the little refrigerator, not the cleanest place. Pool and hot tub not very clean. Shower by the pool did not work.Notes in the breakfast area Stating if you brought your breakfast to the room they would charge 15 dollars a person. Will not be coming back.

Good stay overall. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Lobby is nice. Breakfast Saturday was extremely crowded and food ran out about 40 minutes prior to the end of service. They did restock but it took a while and many of us were waiting. Food was good and variety was good. Breakfast on Sunday was much better stocked.
