Pleasant staff. Very clean room. Nice looking hotel. Easy parking. Breakfast was very nice, they were very busy in the restaurant at breakfast time and some things ran out but the staff did their best to keep on top of it.

Booking in quick and efficient. Room clean. Hole in curtains. Black mould behind the wash hand basin. Bathroom smelt of damp.Mark on the sheets. Phone not working and identified as wrong room number. Reported to staff. Had expected a better quality of room. Breakfast fine.

I stayed with my husband and 2 year old son. We checked in quickly. Our first room was as advertised with a sofa bed and double bed. Unable to find bedding for the sofa bed anywhere. Room not the best cleanliness wise. Pulled out sofa bed to find it stained and visibly dirty. No mattress protector on the bed. Called reception and very nice lady came up to take photographs and apologised. We were sent to another room which had bed already made up which was much better, the rooms however would benefit from a deep clean, a lot of furniture had stains on them. We slept reasonably well. Couldn’t complain at the breakfast it was nice for the money, however, not sure the price of the room reflected the stay or quality of the rooms.

Great value for money, basic hotel. Extremely comfy bed, very large room, nice clean bathroom. The little table in the room hadnt been cleaned. There were crumbs on it and some food had been dropped on the table and left to dry hard. I cleaned it off. Basic cleanliness is not a lot to ask, even in a cheaper hotel. The chair and carpet were stained too. The guy on reception when I arrived on Friday evening (15/8) was a delight and very helpfulbut it was a different guy this morning when I checked out and he was a right misery. Made me feel a nuisance.

my 6th visit to this hotel and to date all has been good. This stay however was terrible, room 108, mould above the shower, wet strains on the carpet (hot chocolate) but why is it still wet? bedside cabinet had not been wiped and was cola on the surface (still wet), pot noodle bits on the bathroom floor and poo in the toilet. Will seek alternative hotels which is a shame as its near my place of work 1-2 days per week.

I sent a review to the Hotel. Upon arrival the room was not ready. In rushing to get it ready some cleaning of the bathroom was over looked. However, the entire stay was so enjoyable that I did not bring this up with the management of staff until after my 3 day stay. I will definitely return here on my next business trip

The room was on the ground floor which was not a problem. The window in the room opened to a communal area where other people were sitting, so the curtains had to be kept closed for privacy. The key did not worked to open the door, so had to returned to the reception to get another key. The breakfast was average. Could have done with more vegetarian options. There was black mould around the base of the shower. Loved the dove shower gel. I could have done with a shower cap to prevent my hair getting wet. I had a good sleep; bed sheets were clean.

The Holiday Inn in Kettering is very handy when we visit our eldest son and we really like that there are walk in showers in the rooms. This time the handle on the inside of the shower door in our room seemed to be broken and there was intermittent noise through the night from lorries from the back of the hotel?

We were impressed with the staff and service. However, the walls seemed paper thin as we could hear the coversations of the people next door. The toilet flushing was extreemly loud and the lighting was terrible, particularly if we needed to get up in the middle of the night, as it was pitch black - we had to leave the bathroom light on all night with the door slightly ajar. Very disappointing.

A clean and efficient modern hotel with good facilities and good size rooms. Easy to find from the A14. Only issue for me personally was the mattress was too soft and bouncy, maybe OK for others.

We were made to feel welcome by Amy on reception. She told us everything we needed to know and was particularly helpful with a monor problem we had. Our room was comfortable and also very quiet. There was good parking facilities and the Miller and Carter was opposite for an evening meal. We had a good breakfast which was buffet style.

Very basic holiday inn. Poor girl in reception was working hard between the bar, reception desk and reissuing room keys upstairs- clearly understaffed. Room was clean and bed comfy.

There was a fair bit of road noise, but it was a warm night so the window was open. Breakfast was a little bit less freshly cooked than ideal, but thata always a potential issue with a buffet. Overall, would recommend.

We've had a wonderful two night stay, in an ample sized room for two people, which was clean and well supplied with the essentials. Comfortable bed with a choice of pillows, additional chairs and space to work or nake snacks. Very helpful, friendly staff who try accommodate all requests and queries. Very ample food options for breakfast and veggie options on request for hot food. Flexible options if you need food to go too. Despite being near the dual carrage way it was quiet. Definitely would stay again.

It was everything youd expect.. clean, quiet, efficient. Breakfast was excellent but we did have food on friday night due to our late arrival and it was awful. We waited 45 mins at least for luke warm and dry food. Its absolutely not cooked to order but if it is there is sething seriously wrong. If its not then there are no exvuses for servkng food of yhat standard.

It was good. I had no problems at all. The ground floor gave me good access with my wheelchair. The place was spotless. Breakfast was however ABIT of a mess. Running out of produce and my wife had to promo for some glasses for juice. There was only one piece of bacon left and in the 20 mins of me having breakfast no more turned up for my wife. There was only one piece of white bread for toast and the beans were cold. We only had breakfast on the Sunday, we were having a wedding breakfast on Saturday, so I don't know how usual that was. I must say though that the staff were very, very busy and helpful perhaps you just need more of them
