It was a good stay for a quick night for a nascar race. Pool area could use some cleaning, the pool was freezing cold. I think the rooms could use a Deep clean like baseboards etc….

Nice hotel as far as it was clean and comfortable. The person that was at the front desk was extremely rude. We asked about the pool and was told (with attitude) that it was closed. When I pointed out that when I booked it listed indoor pool and said nothing about it being closed she replied rudely “it’s closed”. I know things happen and it was really not that big of a deal but she could have been a whole lot nicer about it. She was like that with every interaction. Probably will not be back just because of the rudeness we were shown.

We had stayed at this property under previous ownership, and it was awful. We didn't realize it was the same property or we might not have chosen it. But Baymont has completely updated the rooms and it was comfortable, quiet, and clean. We would definitely choose it again. We have a dog, and the pet charge of $25 was reasonable compared with what other hotels in the area were charging. The one negative I would note is that the breakfast did not offer enough options for us, so we ate elsewhere.

The carpets were really dirty and the elevator smelled terrible. There was no coffee makers in the rooms, which was a bummer. A blanket in the cupboard would have been nice. The girls who worked there were super nice and did their best. We were there because of a power outage.

I’m being charged an extra $25 for my dog. She’s a toy poodle who doesn’t shed, is not left alone and has not made a sound to disturb any other guest. However, I have pictures of dog hair on the floor of my room which seems, should have been cleaned with the extra $25 charge for the last occupant. I’m happy to have a pet friendly place to stay, and even to pay an extra stipend, but I did not expect my room would not be clean. Even the Kleenex holder had nastiness on it, not to to a pet but certainly not expected in a room that has an extra fee for pet cleaning.

Everything is very clean and well kept. It was affordable at $88 with tax and the staff was friendly and accomodating. Our only gripe was the bed. It was completely saggy toward the middle so we had a rough night sleep.

What a horrible experience! I checked in, proceeded to my room and heard a dog barking incessantly. Only to go into my room and continue to hear the dog bark and bark and...bark! I went back to the front desk to ask if they could put me in a different room away from the dog. They said they did not have any similar rooms, and if I wanted another room I would have to contact Hotels.com. I contacted them and they then contacted the hotel. I ended up having to pay additional money to get a different room. Thankfully Hotels.com credited me the amount I had to pay, but the front desk attendant could have easily just switched me to a different room out of courtesy for having to deal with the barking dog.

We waited 10 minutes before a desk clerk came to check us in. Two other people were in line before us and had waited 15 minutes when we got there. I walked the entire hotel looking for someone who worked there but found no one. Strong smell of cleaning products so the room was clean, but old and had not been updated. Tiny bathroom and no place to put toiletries. Not sure where the good reviews came from, but they were very misleading.

This hotel is right off the highway so it is convenient to get to Ann Arbor or Detroit. The rooms were great with no complaints. It had a smart tv. For breakfast, they had biscuits and gravy, waffles, sausage, cereal, and then some kind of eggs every day. The staff was kind. There is a couple of fast food options and gas stations right by the hotel. Overall, for the price, it was a good hotel.

I did not have high expectations but I was most pleasantly surprised. The room was very nicely laid out, light switches where you could find them, spacious. My only problem was food found the microwave from a previous guest and found only when I found a plug that worked to use the refrigerator. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy with sausage, so no eggs. It could have used a bit more fruit. I would stay again. And it gas a pool!

The breakfast area was clean but food was average and not fully stocked, like milk for cereal, and having the staff walking right past you with cleaning carts while eating was a bit obnoxious.

The carpet is showing its age, which really sets the tone for the stay. The breakfast was a big disappointment although that was a big reason we chose this property. The items were cold, stale, and not restocked even though it was a full hour before breakfast hours ended. But the pool was warm and the price was right.

We frequently stay at Baymont Inns because of good pet policies, comfortable rooms, and decent breakfast options. This property is in a semi-industrial area and the grounds are bleak. The room was acceptable. The breakfast was by far the worst we have been offered at any Baymont. There was only one other hotel guest who even tried it while we were there, and we opted to head for McDonalds. The staff members were pleasant, the bed comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep.
