The breakfast and dinner was excellent and the hotel is very clean and the stuff are very nice and friendly my only complaint was there’s not much to do in the hotel beside the kids play room and the room there’s not other distractions unless you go outside

It was our first time staying in Qatar and Voco Hotel. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, courtesy, and kindness of the staff. Nothing was too difficult for anybody. From booking cab to church at 5am in the morning, prompt valet service to preparing delicious food for our breakfast or preparing birthday surprise for me. People who delivered outstanding service were Aicha and her whole restaurant team and Said with reception crew and the valet service team. Thank you.

Trevlig personal. Vi fick ett rum där det luktade mycket cigarettrök pga att vi checkade in sent och dagen efter fick vi hjälp med att byta till ett annat rum vilket kändes okej. Rummet var hyfsat rent men badrummet var inte det fräschaste, fanns mycket smuts mellan kakelplattorna som man hade behövt skrubba bort. Väldigt bra läge och i övrigt lyxig hotell. Frukosten var dock inte som förväntat, mycket fanns att tillgå men kvaliteten var inte på topp. Exempelvis fick jag be personalen om vispad grädde (whipped cream) då det inte stod framme som inte alls var bra kvalité, väldigt luftig och fluffig, smakade sprutgrädde. Hade enkelt kunnat bytas ut mot exempelvis mascarpone då pankakorna och sirapen som fanns var väldigt gott.

I travel often to Doha but this has been my worst hotel experience so far. Someone staying in the room in front of mine was partying the whole night (20+ guests in his room walking in and out in the corridor, loud music, etc.). When I complained to the hotel management in the middle of the night they pretty much did not do anything, except politely telling him once to reduce the noise level. When I went the next day to speak to hotel management, they told me that the person staying in the room is a "long term resident", and then they even had the audacity to tell me that "he has friends coming from far away"; which apparently seems to be a valid justification to prevent other people from sleeping. I had to ask the hotel to move to another room, they gave me a similar one, I had to move all of my stuff and I did not receive any compensation, whether financial or in terms of upgrade. A commercial gesture which would have been appreciated, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Everything is fine, rooms are nice and spacious, however make sure you ask the cost of breakfast per person before you have family, the prices are not consistent. I kept hearing different numbers. Promo /no promo, just make sure you know the cost for breakfast. They wanted 120 Qar for a 12 year, I think its on the pricey side. Other than that its a great hotel.

Only the lobby staff were friendly, but the ones sits at the reception some weren’t so friendly. Location not that great. There are 2 schools near by so you get stuck in traffic and there is a coach stand in empty land which needs desperately attention. Hotel should be 3* for deco and facilities. No spa, pool is soo small, jacuzzi is a size of a bath, I would definitely wouldn’t come back to stay here and would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone.
