Pool area is not maintained. Furniture is broken and rusted. Overall this is a fantastic hotel just would be better with some outdoor space option.

I enjoy my stay here every time! And continue to book this hotel anytime I am in Lubbock. However; would really like for the lounges by the pool to b repaired or replaced. An excellent pool area but the seating is broken and rusted. Other than that highly recommended hotel.

The breakfast was not organized and they were taking items and utinsiles away before it was over. Pool and hot tub not usable, dirty and no one was working to fix/clean it the entire 4 days we were there. Property is run down and only one elevator is working. When we asked, the reply was the part has been orderedand they hope to have it working by May or June.

We felt safe here! The one thing I didn’t like was they are limited on parking for a weekend trip.

I loved that it was out of the hustle and bustle of Lubbock. Very peaceful. I really was looking forward to the pool, but it was dirty and the hot tub had green water that smelled moldy.

Great location. Clean and quiet rooms. Great customer service. Pool hours could have started earlier then when its time to check out. And pool was dirty.

Really great stay for the cost, great location. If i was to nit pik, the only downsides but still on the good side. Bed a little firm, hot tub not "hot" and workout room was definitely 2 star. But this is a solid place to stay, would go back and easily 4+ stars

Nice hotel, clean and comfortable. The fitness center needs a lot of attention. No free weights, mats, exercise balls, or wipes to clean the equipment.

They just need to work on there elevators because they are very slow, other than that everything is great. One of my favorite hotels in Lubbock, Texas.

Everything you could ask for in a motel!!! Cold air, good mattress, good pillows!!! Also had a nice pool!!!

The bathroom floor by the tub (corners) looked dirty and moldy and the room smelled like cat litter cat pee, I had to keep the ceiling and AC on and spray w/my bathroom spray so it could smell a little better. Not very many options for breakfast either, could have offered fruit, nuts and brown sugar for the oatmeal

There were so many things horrible with this hotel, I will try to remember and name them all. First off, the hotel called multiple times before checking in to see if we were still going to be staying. I didn't think much of this at the time, but I realized they were asking because they had already gave the room we reserved to someone else. On one of those calls it would’ve been nice to know the entrance was under construction so we could’ve known where to enter the building. The room we reserved was for 2 queen beds and a sofa bed to accommodate our family’s needs. The room we checked into was 2 full beds with no sofa bed. Another thing we noticed was the dirt and dust on all surfaces throughout the room. Next to the beds, there were trash and old candy on the floors between the mattress and wall. The sheets and mattresss had red candy stains all over. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and there was damage to the dressers replaced with tape and sharp edges of wood that could have hurt someone if they were not paying attention walking close to it. There were loose tiles also with sharp edges that we had to be careful with as well. We have a young son who takes baths and there was no drain stopper to accommodate for him. All in all this would have to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Great customer service and rooms are amazing and clean. Comfortable rooms and beds.

I have stayed at this location multiple times. This was the first time i was unhappy. My sheets were stained with oily hair and ither stain. I called the office and they offered to move us to another room. We had already settled in for the night so they brought us more sheets to change the others.

Grout on the floors and in the bathroom looked dirty. It seemed like the walls were very thin because you could hear noises from the rooms above and beside you. The a/c unit in our room was very load. The restrooms downstairs near the lobby were extremely dirty; did not have toilet paper in the stalls; and one of the toilets had feces on it

The room was dirty: hair in the shower and in the bathroom, cobwebs and dust where the ceiling and wall meet, and the walls were very thin. You can earlier hear people in other rooms and the hallway. The breakfast was bland, and several items tasted stale.

The quilt is all covered with oil stains and black things.I showed a video to the front desk. She said nothing

Facility was clean and the room was emaculate. Staff was friendly and complimentary breakfast was great!

Room was clean. Beds were semi comfortable. We stayed with our two teenage boys and were simply having a conversation around 10:30 when someone from the room beside us banged on the wall…. Apparently the walls are incredibly thin! Breakfast was pitiful. They hardly had any food to offer. Ended up eating out.

The hotel was very clean. Our room had a ceiling fan and the bathroom had a soaking tub.

The bed was comfortable and the room had a ceiling fan. I will not stay at this property again. There is absolutely no noise buffering and all though the bed was comfortable I couldn't sleep because of the noise from other guests.

The walls ate thin that you can here the alarm clock from the next room & their conversations. You can hear the footsteps of the people on the next level.

Property was well maintained. The may reason I will not return to this hotel is their VERY poor WIFI. With all the hotels in Lubbock to compete with, they offer WIFI that is just above dialup. If you have to use your computer during you stay, DONT bother.

For the price it was excellent. Felt new.

It was a working weekend for me and I had my granddaughter with me. The Internet kept kicking us off. We actually had to go to someplace else so that I could finish my work and she was unable to do what she wanted to do while we were in the room.The place was nice enough, clean enough just had a terrible time with the Internet. We requested to leave early and weren’t allowed.

I checked in online but the check-in process took just as long if I hadn’t bothered to do that. We tried to take a nap before going to a wedding and there was nonstop jumping and running above us. When we asked to change rooms, the staff person asked to come see our room first. When she arrived, she looked around the room and called the other staff person to say that the bed would need made up. She said we couldn’t change rooms because housekeeping was unavailable to turn the room and the last room available was being checked in to as we spoke. We went downstairs a few minutes later - there was no one at the front desk. I hopped on hotels.com and found rooms available to book. It was frustrating to be lied to and the laziness of thinking they can’t grab some cleaner and sheets and turn the room themselves - it had only been used two hours! We came back in that evening to more loud jumping and running above us - called again and reported the issue. It seems things quieted or we were just so tired we fell asleep. The manager at the front asked about our stay and insisted we tell her our concerns, but we felt she was more defensive than helpful. I’ve never left a one star rating but this hotel deserves it.

We arrived late after an incredibly long day of driving. The gentleman that checked us in was beyond courteous! My interaction with him gave me a positive opinion about the entire town of Lubbock! THANK YOU!!

Everything was lovely except for the check in. Clerk was on the phone for five minutes instead of addressing the line of people standing in front of him staring at him. Absolutely ridiculous that the person on the phone was not put on hold and that he didn’t take care of the guests checking in. Horrible first impression.

Excellent desk staff, rooms are good sized, beds are fine, check-in and out is efficient and easy.

My teenage daughter and I checked in and received keys to a room. We went to the room and keys didn't work. We saw something (a bottle of something) in front of the door and it sounded like movement inside. We knocked - no response. Went downstairs and told Kelsey at reception that keys didn’t work (no lights at all) and also asked her to please verify room was not occupied. She called and said no one answered. Rekeyed ours and we went back upstairs. We opened the door to discover a surprised naked man in his bathroom We returned downstairs and told Kelsey. She immediately called the room and apologized profusely to the man. Then proceeded to give me a key to a room 2 doors down from him. I asked if we could please be on another floor. My daughter was incredibly overwhelmed by what had happened and not seeing him again would be best for everyone. Kelsey said it was fully booked and impossible to swap a room. Even with anyone who had not yet checked in. I begged for a solution to give the hotel a chance to make this right and was received with matter of fact face as to this is the way it is. I asked her for any recourse - calling her manager, asking if their was a booking solution to make an adjustment. She said she was not allowed to give a manager name. I was very kind feeling for her as she stated it was her mistake for writing down the wrong room number. I understand we are human and we make errors. But the unwillingness to attempt to find a better solution was not ok.

Front desk clerk Melissa had somewhat of an attitude at check in. I requested early check in. We left home early to arrive early. R route I received a denied message and to check with the front desk. I had to wait a few minutes as on one was there. When she arrived a count tell immediately she was going to have an attitude. She said she wasn’t doing any early check ins even though I had requested and agreed online to the fee. I asked if we could hang out at the pool or patio. She told me no. I said that was unusual as any other hotel I had been to would accommodate that. She said to come back at 1:30 but we would have to pay $50. We returned at 1:30 and her attitude had deteriorated!!! I told her I had actually checked in one line the day before and all information and credit card was on file from early check in. She requested my card again and said ( with an attitude ) her housekeeping manager had to check every room. We said when we first arrived the parking lot was empty and there were only a few cars at 1:30. This really set her off and my wife asked her name three times before she would tell us. She then told my wife she would turn us away! My wife told her to do it. She repeated again she would turn us away! At this point I really didn’t care. When asked again she finally said her name was Melissa!(?) She then checked us in. We came down later to the pool and she has over helpful then. Left a bad taste in my mouth! Really thought of not staying but had paid!

A little further outside of the city than i would have prefered, but it was clean, comfortable and quiet. Cant ask for much more.

We travel to Lubbock frequently to visit our son! In the past we have stayed at a few local hotels and were very unhappy! I stay at this hotel all the time now! It’s very clean, the staff is friendly and very accommodating! We love the location and feel safe. It’s great that there is ample parking. parking …we will continue to book this LaQuinta.

Newer property in excellent condition. Quiet, safe and very near restaurants and shopping.

Finding it was troubling because of all the road construction but location was isolated, nowhere close to eat

The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable. The breakfast area in the morning was a mess. It was very dirty and was not being tended to AT ALL. The person working the breakfast area was sitting at the counter eating while all of the coffee carafes were completely empty, food was empty and the counters were filthy and trash can was overflowing. The area was not full so there was not an excuse for this. We didn’t even attempt to eat breakfast the next morning because it was so bad.

Good, though I was disappointed that the kitchen staff stopped refilling breakfast items 30 minutes before it ended and began removing food at 8:45 AM. Beakfast was supposed to be available until 9:00 AM

The breakfast was overcooked and tasty horrible. The air condition did not work properly and there was a unpleasant odor. Plus I my credit card was charged almost two weeks before I arrived without any notice from the hotel or notice on the website. Extremely unprofessional.

This was a nice stay vs other properties I have stayed at in Lubbock. The pool area was a little dirty. Chips in the pool and the area around could be cleaned up during the day. We went to breakfast and hour before it closed and there was not much left. No waffle mix for awhile, no potatoes and not refilled. Also at least one different breakfast item for the people who stay multiple days. Front desk staff was so nice and welcoming. Room was clean and pillows were nice. Can not control who stays next to you or above you in hotels but above us a child was jumping and running till 1am.
