The room smelled like smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The coffee machine didn’t work, Netflix wasn’t available, there wasn’t a stopper to use the bath tub, the staff wasn’t very friendly and the hot tub wasn’t hot at all.

Had two rooms for a week to attend a school, one for myself and one for a coworker. Although clean, both rooms had an odor to them. Room service was well below satisfactory. My bed was never made, did not receive clean towels daily, and I had to go to the front desk twice to ask for coffee. The ONLY thing that had been done to my room was the garbage was emptied with the trash cans left sitting in the middle of the floor. The ice machine was out of order on the second floor and the jets in the hot tub did not work. I only leave reviews on two occasions and that being for exceptional service and really bad service; this being the only bad service review I've ever left. I do not expect perfection by any means, however, I do expect the standard service.

Everything was nice in the rooms are nice, but the ice machine on the second floor was broken and the main area that we would use on your weight room was broken and that was a key reason I booked the room

Disgusting! Holes in the wall. This hotels smells like mildew. There was blood on one of the pillows. The sheets on another bed were dirty. The toilets in all of my rooms were dirty. The bathroom smelled like urine. I won’t be staying here again

There was a cockroach on the wall when we walked in, the receptionist promptly changed our room. The next room the previous tenant must’ve had a pet and there was animal hair all over the window. If the hotel was cleaned it would be lovely

You had to take your dirty towels to the front desk and ask for clean towels each day. They charged your card on file at the beginning of the day and not when you arrived at the hotel - advertised as pay at hotel. My nieces had a couple of roaches in their room.

The whole promoverte has some mold issues. I requested a dehumidifier. They said they only have one for the first floor. How convinient. We were on the third floor. Unless they fix the issue, this Hotel it is really unsafe. I was having some respiratory issues.

Wifi. Our room did not work, told front desk then they asked me to call the IT company I stayed in the phone 39 minutes and he said he took care of it wait 15 minutes and it should work now 15 hours later no WiFi.

I do not recommend this hotel! The front staff was very nice but the room was not in good shape. The room was not clean and the bed was very uncomfortable. We did not have WiFi or cell service in room 103. It was a complete waste of money.

The hotel itself isnt bad. Dont try to "pay at the hotel" they charge your card days before with no notice. The Manager at the front when i walked in to check in was rude and without saying a word and me halfway into telling her i had a reservation just stuck her hand out for my cards and when i went to hand them to her she snatched them. She has a scowl on her face the entire time and when you try to ask question she just responds with a very rude statement back to you. I will never be back because customers staying at an establishment deserve to be treated nicely if theyve done nothing wrong or been unfair to the person working the counter. Antwan was very polite when i spoke to him on the phone and at the front desk. From now on i will just take my business where it is appreciated.

I decided to stay at this hotel because I stayed here last year, but I regret it in so many ways. When I arrived, the man at the front desk was more concerned about a game he was watching on the back and was not welcoming at all and did not greet me. We weren’t in our room that much and when we finally went to get some rest, I noticed a bunch of hair on one of the beds. When I went to the front desk, someone else was there and when I mentioned my problem, all here offered were clean sheets. When I asked if he was serious, he gave me an attitude and switched me to the room in front. The rest of the staff was also rude and not welcoming at all. Never again going back.

This is the worst experience I have ever had, and we frequently travel and stay in hotels. We originally called the number (provided for the hotel on the listing) and spoke to a woman and inquired about being able to leave our vehicle for the cruise after our stay at the hotel. The woman said “yes, no problem, it’s free.” We inquired again and made sure because we would book this hotel if so, in which she again replied “yes. No problem.” When my family and I arrived, I began check in with the gentleman at the desk, and asked where to park. He then continued to raise his voice in the hotel lobby, yelling “WHO SAID THAT? WHO? CAUSE IT WASNT ME.” And wouldn’t even let me finish a sentence with his rude, and disrespectful behavior. Do NOT book this hotel, they will NOT refund you. They bait you into booking the hotel by lying about the cruise parking, and when you arrive they treat you like dirt and then refuse to refund you. My family and I left and went to another hotel close by and they informed us that we were NOT the first people and that typically everyone has trouble with this hotel complaining of the same things, lying and a rude and disrespectful worker. I’m not sure how they got an 8/10 review, probably baiting people that way as well. Save your money and book with the other best western about 8 minutes from this one. At least they were respectful and helpful.

The front desk staff and housekeeping are friendly and welcoming. My room was very clean and comfortable. The property is well maintained and clean also. There are plenty of dining options within a one mile radius as well as shopping. There are plenty of parking spots and night lights keep the area illuminated.

The BW Motel was neat and in great condition in and out. The area was primarily oil refinery and storage while fascinating to look at it was not a great view. All in all, I would recommend it as a great stop!

The hotel is good. The breakfast was good, the rooms clean and the service good. But the parking lot is not safe. On the second night our car was broken into and the cover of our truck bed was cut open. Seems like the area is not safe!

You collect a $100 refundable deposit but then charge customer $4.50 for each paper cup and condiments used in room. WOW that's unacceptable. You don't allow customer to bring your continental breakfast back to their room! Why? Hotel smells like Curry, beds are terrible not everstaying here again

Short drive to Port of Galveston. Clean, easy check in. Restaurants are within a short drive. Breakfast was ok. Pancakes, eggs and sausage. Cold cereal and fruit were offered. Would have like yogurt and juice, but both macines eere not working. Coffee was good, but not able to get a second cup due to machine not working. Would reccomend and would stay again.

Hotel smelled very musty and damp, they had humidifiers running in the hallway. Breakfast, no one was keeping things going, pancake maker stopped working and no one checked it. Good enough for the night, but would pay more for a better place.
