Food, Bar/restaurant was great. Everything was easy.

Very nice property. Helpful staff with smiles to match. Food at the restaurant is good. I recommend the wedge salad and wings. Breakfast is good too. Drink's at the bar are pricey but the bartenders make really good cocktails! I will be back soon.

Clean hip hotel in the middle of downtown Columbia, SC. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern. NO CARPET! The bar is nice and they have a patio. No rooftop or pool but it’s a nice rooftop hotel 5 minutes away (walkable). And there are several food options within walking distance.

People were efficient/friendly and facilities above average. Gym important to me and my wife and we loved it- not crowded with new equipment. Reasonable for a football game weekend v other options. Would stay here again.

Great location new clean hotel super comfortable beds the best pressure shower. Welcome waters. Valet parking. Great bar and the satff are excellent. Rooms can be a little loud as they are not carpeted but thats the trade off for clean space. Highly recommend

Property was clean and restaurant for was great as well. Parking was crazy, $18 to self park or valet? It was a little pricey for no reason.

We paid $16 for parking but there was no valet and no self parking spots available. We are parking illegally and hoping it works out. If there’s limited parking, you’ll need valets later that 8 pm.

The room was not clean. The hotel does not have carpet, so every time we stepped our feet caught grip of whatever remnants from previous stays were left. There was food left in the chair and underneath furniture. To be honest, if it wasn’t for the cleaning issues, it would have been a decent stay. I would not book again.

The overall property is nice! I was informed I could do an early check in but my room wasn’t available until after check in time. Room size is nice but had a few issues with cleanliness.

Property is nice . A nice hotel. Not great just nice. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean for the most part. We were put in the second floor. The bathroom shower was gross and there was one of those drain flies hovering. The shower floor felt unclean so I showered with my flip flops on. Only there for an overnight so not worth the trouble to complain. But those rooms should be inspected routinely by housekeeping. It was expected I guess for 3 star hotel but the it’s deceiving bc the rest of the place is 4 star. And the drain in the sink didn’t work. Don’t ppl check these things when they clean??

Very clean

Puke or feces all over the wall by the door stop make me not want to touch anything. You can hear the people above you roll their suitcase and walk. Not worth the money.

Mostly good. Air conditioning motor a bit loud and could not fully block out the outside lights.

Property is new, modern, well equipped and in a great location. Limited parking. I don’t think my room had been used in a while. It was nice but there were lots of knats in the bathroom.

The hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s close to downtown, within walking distance. The only downside is that I could hear footsteps from the room above.

The hotel was beautiful. The room was clean and bed comfortable. My only complaint was the shower. The water pressure was non existent. Hard to wash the soap off the pressure was so weak. Other than that I have no complaints.

I was disappointed when I came up to the room with my food to warm up in the microwave. Just to find we were put in a room that was suppose to have a microwave it didn’t.

The room was very comfortable. It was clean and had all of the amenities I needed.

Employees seem like family. They are all so kind and seem genuinely happy to work with each other. Because the rooms have hardwood floors, you can hear other people in adjacent rooms or rooms above you. Request top floor or bring a fan. The hotel should keep box fans on hand for guests. I am a light sleeper and could hear a child crying in the night in another room.

Trendy place. Comfy bed, white noise machine in the room is a nice touch. Awesome shower head pressure.

I thought the bathroom design with the sliding doors was unique.

The room was excellent - comfortable beds and even a modern sofa. The bathroom was really nice. Unfortunately, only the guest version of wi-fi was available, there was no password protected network.

Had a 3 night stay for business and had a great experience here. The hotel is new with spacious clean rooms and was cleaned everyday. All the staff from front desk to food and beverage are super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and short walk to great restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

Heavenly and Gloria took good care of us and kept our room tidy. Heavenly was working in room next door and I was cold in the room and wanted to sit on couch…she left and got me a spare blanket to use. She went above and beyond for me and it was appreciated

The Cambria was a pretty hotel and located near lots of restaurants and the UofSC campus. I arrived and the parking lot was full, so I had to valet my car which was fine. The person checking me could barely lift his head to acknowledge me. The next night I arrived back to the hotel and again, the parking lot was full, but apparently there is no valet on duty on Mondays. I had to park on the street and get up by 7am the next morning to move my car into the parking lot, which was just inconvenient. Many other people staying at the hotel had the same issue. I asked the front desk to send someone to refill the soap, shampoo and conditioner multiple times and no one ever came. In addition, I received MANY text messages asking how they could make my stay more enjoyable, but none were answered. The hotel is nice and clean but there are a few things that need to be addressed by management.

Staff & service was rated poor for the following: parking attendant when I first arrived didn’t even acknowledged me, so I parked, went in and checked in, I passed my him 4 times, he didn’t say anything to me. I left the premises for a while and upon my return another parking attendant was there and asked me if I was checking in or checked in already, and then proceeded to tell me I needed to be given a parking pass and just the interaction did not feel comfortable. Went to the restaurant and order half a rack of ribs that was not fresh, it was very over cooked and dry. While waiting for my food at the bar, I kept hearing some annoying noises and then realized that it was coming from the attending person at the reception… that’s how loud it was and then he was just laughing very loudly at the video he was watching, it just looked very unprofessional. The worse part: about 9:47 am the next day, I’m laying down with my fiancé in bed, when we hear a knock, we ignored it thinking it was just someone mistaking rooms, then they knocked again, so my fiancé gets up to go check and as he was walking towards the door undressed, someone who we can only assume was a cleaning attendant person opens the door, and almost walked in, my fiancé had to rush to push the door closed and he just heard the person say I’m so very sorry. Called reception and nothing was really done except for an apology. That it’s unacceptable, & very frustrating. Love the place, staff needs to improve their service.

We came to Columbia for a wedding and stayed at Cambria. Everything about this place was 5 stars. The lady that checked us in was very kind and knowledgeable. The valet folks were very friendly despite setting outside in 95 degree weather all day. The place was spotless. The room was very nice with huge windows on 2 sides. The bar was great and we loved both bartenders. Would highly recommend this place.

As soon as you walk in Valet has better customer service than the actual hotel property. The night auditor Kristin was absolutely rude! No greeting or anything if I don’t open up my mouth to say good evening we would’ve been just staring at each other. Asked a question about the price of parking just for clarification and got the nastiest response from her like I was incompetent. Definitely not an experience from a staff member a guest should receive after traveling miles to spend money for a stay at this property for the first time.

Excellent service. Bartender as awesome. Saturday night. Room was super super clean!!!! The front desk team was friendly and extremely nice. The valet service was the best I’ve ever seen.

I was in town for my son's graduation from basic combat training. I received a call before check in time that there was an "emergency" and due to the HVAC not working they were moving guests to other hotels in the area. Something about the contractor not being able to fix the issue. This made little sense to me but they gave me the name of a local hotel. That evening after family day at Fort Jackson we went to the Cambria to see what was going on. The person at the valet had no idea that there were any issues. The person at the front desk had no idea what I was talking about. There was a "post it note" on the desk which specifically said not to check in (my name) and when I asked about it - pointing to my name on the note - the person behind the desk did not know what to do or say. Then he started to mention that there was "a part missing". When I tried to get clarity I was told to take the managers business card and call her tomorrow. Bottom line - the Cambria overbooked the hotel. IMO they elected to push off the Expedia customer for another customer. Even though we booked well over a month in advance because of the graduation. In fairness to the Cambria they did comp out stay at the new hotel and we had no charge at the Cambria but bottom line is that they should have not overbooked and if they did then tell us the truth. The manager at the Springhill Suites said that "this happens but they should not have left a post it note out where you could see it."

It was a great location walkable to campus. It felt relatively safe but we weren’t out too late so not sure what it feels like later in the night.

I was there less than 24 hours; the check in process was easy, the room was nice and clean. Rate was high though considering an additional fee was charged for parking and no complimentary breakfast. Also right downtown and even though it was Saturday night, it was very noisy.

We had a wonderful stay during our recent trip. The lobby was very welcoming upon arrival. There was live music, the staff was friendly and there were complimentary snacks and drinks in the bar. The room was clean and comfy. The location was fantastic. Close to restaurants and access to all that USC has to offer.

The overall experience was great. Our room was beautiful with the exception of the blackout blinds were broken and could not be opened or closed fully. There was also a lock of water pressure in the shower. In general it was very quiet, not a lot of “hotel noise” at night. All of the staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was delicious and the bar staff was great.

Comfortable, clean, up to date hotel. Restaurant had a nice breakfast for a moderate charge.

I love this property and I love the staff. The only negative is the menu is a bar menu and it would be nice if they added some dinner choices or just some more upgraded menu.

I enjoyed everything about the hotel. Front desk service, especially from Anna, was accommodating and friendly. The location in downtown Columbia, near many restaurants and bars, was excellent. Though breakfast was not included in the rate, it was very good.

The bar and 24 hour coffee bar was great. Clean and really beautifully done hotel.

Hotel very smart and clean. We appreciated the good value breakfast and the friendliness of all the staff. One small issue we had with our room was eventually resolved and a suitable gesture made as compensation. Would recommend this hotel for both its location and amenities.

The property was clean. We had issue with the running toilet. It’s started in the middle of the night so was not really an option to call someone to fix. Another issue was dinner. You had to order at the bar. First night of our stay we did not know about it. Saw empty dining room that we were told at check in was serving dinner starting at 5. Second night we stood at the bar just waiting for the menu. We were ignored for a while by 2 bar employees. After 10 minutes we left and went elsewhere to eat. Parking lot was also overcrowded and we had to leave the car with the valley ( still a nice option). Our breakfast experience was outstanding. The staff were super attentive.
