Liberty View Brooklyn Hotel

We had a clean, comfortable room with a nice view of the neighborhood. The neighborhood was quiet and nice to walk in. The hotel is a short walk to Industry City, which has lots of delicious food stalls and some stores. It’s also a few blocks from the 25th St subway station. There was free breakfast and free street parking a few blocks away, but parking on site was expensive. The staff was very courteous. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and the gym and breakfast area were both nice. Seemed bet safe with the police station next door.

This is a good hotel. Clean and unique. The only negative is complicated parking. The garage around the corner not associated with the hotel. Plan if you need to leave early in the morning.

It was a quick overnight trip. The room was c-o-z-y, but parking was convenient next door and service was friendly. Breakfast was pretty good for a 'free' breakfast.

This is a great hotel for the price, included breakfast was decent and everyone could find something they wanted- pancakes,scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, toast, cereal, fruit, coffee and juice. Parking was $45 for a minivan/SUV, it was so convenient being on-site. Got lunch after checking out at a pizza place - 2 blocks from the hotel - Gravesend, definitely try it. Staff was nice, the rooms were a little tight but everything was clean. Single Coffee Machine in the room, little mini fridge. Costco was walkable from the hotel too about 10 min.

Although the standard room was pretty small, it was very clean; beds were neat and tidy including the bathroom. The hotel has a nice, well-decorated breakfast and lounge area on the bottom floor including a small gym. Another plus is the police station right near by for safety. Would come again when I stop by in Brooklyn.

Picked this hotel because of reviews and did not disappoint. I drive in from PA and thought driving around area was relatively easy. Also liked the subway stops- one is on 25th and other is on 36 while hotel is on 30th so walk to subway was easy and safe too. Hotel is right across from police station. Paid parking on site ($35 a day) I wish my car had not been parked under a birds nest for 2 days though, I was very unhappy about that so that is reason for 4 stars. Otherwise the room was clean, spacious and nice size closet and bathroom for a weekend stay and beds we’re comfortable. Free breakfast was gross, all dried out, I didn’t eat my second morning. The staff and anyone we encountered in hotel was friendly and helpful so that gets 5 stars in my opinion. I would stay here again.

Great hotel. Easy subway access. With $35 overnight parking right besides and free (great) breakfast met all expectations. Hotel is newly built and in excellent condition. Would have given 5 stars if the area around matched the hotel.

For the most part, the Liberty View served our needs. Clean, friendly, good breakfast, close location to the event we attended. My two biggest problems were the room size and the parking. The room is very small. Pack lightly and if you have a family, good luck. the room is probably a 12 by 10 room. If someone is sitting at the desk, you will not be able to go through. The bathroom, while big, didn't feel private as the blinds to the one window would not close. You can pull a shade down that has small screening, but it still doesn't feel private. The door also did not close all the way. Parking was another adventure all on its own. We paid close to $200 to park there. There's no lot, but a garage where someone will take your car and park it. The keys will be at the front desk. The garage has a couple of levels. So, when you need your car, you have to give them a 10-20 min warning in order for them to retrieve your car. If garage is full and there is a space open on the driveway (which is basically the sidewalk), that's where you will park. So you're paying to park on the street. Overall, it was fine. I just wish the parking was a little better and that I knew about the rooms. We will return if need be.

Nice location and the hotel wasn’t too bad. Definitely rough around the edges. I had some small bugs coming out the bathroom drain, fixtures and appliances are all a little janky and look thrown together. The door for the bathroom if you open it the wrong way can pinch your hand. So overall honestly I don’t know if I’d go again or recommend but the hotel did the job and the service was nice.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I usually check well for bed bugs but we had somewhere to be after checking in. we got back to the room late and my partner woke me up at 3am to tell me he thought he was seeing BUGS CRAWLING BY ME. turned on the lights and there clearly was an INFESTATION in the room. I took one in a cup to front desk and explained the situation and the worker cringed and said “thats disgusting” we got a new room that was seemingly okay but the actual MANAGER WAS NEVER AVAILABLE and we were only offered compensation for the one night we switched rooms. Mind you we had to carry all our things from the 5th to 2nd floor at 3am!! This is SO concerning considering the amount of family’s and CHILDREN i saw staying here. The most shocking part about this is that the room would have had to not be cleaned thoroughly for SO long for it to accumulate into the way we saw it. another big concern about this is the all the headboards in the room are made of wood, the floors are hardwood and the wallpaper was peeling everywhere. there are too many places for these things to hide, the place needs to replace all its wooden furniture and have a proper extermination done to get rid of this which I do not see them investing in given the way my situation was handled. there are many other cleaner hotels in the area with the good enough prices, no reason to stay here ever :/

Comfortable Room - dont get too hyped for the views or the neighborhood. My view was a graveyard :/ Stay there if you need a something clean, affordable and, temporary. A nice perk is a inclusive breakfast buffet open to all clients. The closest stop is local - 25 st - DNR line. Parking is available Electronics/Appliances have been updated. Free wifi Cons: - Stayed on the 8th floor. The bathroom had a sewage smell throughout the stay. Popped open a window. -After running ac/heat for a few hours, the room smelt like gas -Mini fridge could have been colder -You need a room key for electricity including toilet usage. -BATHROOMS WERE FREEZING -Not many late night events/ open spots within walking distance (10-25min) Overall- a decent place to rest your head while moving through NYC.

The common areas and the room were very clean. The staff were friendly and attentive. Nothing in the rooms was run down, broken or old. The hotel breakfast was decent as far as free hotel breakfasts are concerned. We were not fans of the size of the room. We had 2 double beds in the room and could hardly navigate the room. The immediate area around the hotel was very meh. Police station, lots of litter and few decent dining options within a couple of blocks.

Staff was friendly, location good and it was clean. The rooms are very small, the window in the bathroom was broken so it didnt close properly and made the room cold. The whole hotel smelled of weed / indoor smoking, which was not very pleasent.

Very clean and rooms have a sleek look. Good air conditioning. Breakfast is amazingly delicious. The hotel has a calming vibe and peaceful. Will definitely book here in the future again.

Check in was easy, the staff was helpful, and the room was clean

My room was spacious with a fridge, safe, clean queen bed and adequate closets. My issue was the musty smell in the room. I had to blast the AC all night in order to decrease the smell. Room service provided an odor free spray which didn't help much. When a requested a change of rooms they told me that were booked.

Hotel staff were very friendly. Quick and easy check in. The hotel and room were very clean with a super comfortable bed! Will definitely stay again next month for my next trip to the area.

This hotel was great. The only thing we had an issue with was the shower. It was one where there are no shower walls... The drain is in the middle of the bathroom floor. There was a small rubber strip on the floor that was meant to keep water in the shower area but after every shower it was inevitable that there was water all over the floor in the bathroom. This made it tough to get dressed in the bathroom after a shower. Aside from this we loved the hotel. Will consider staying here again in the future

One night stay. King size bed was comfortable, room felt spacious and not too tight. Last min booking and had the accessible bathroom left, which was spacious as big as the bedroom. Was initially detered by the additional fee of extra guest when booking. Breakfast was a disappointment though. Food was cold and felt old and stale. I saw 3 pans of eggs heated around 30min before they end breakfast. Maybe for the next day? Felt they were missing some basic breakfast items. No pb/jelly, no hot cereal. Overall stay was okay but not my go to.

Superbly clean modern hotel with very helpful staff. Rooms are smallish but have very nice bathrooms and enjoy great views. Large elevators with little wait time. Copious breakfast included.

The view of the Statue of Liberty was very distant but clear. Being near a police station made us feel comfortable walking around to get supplies. Room was tight but clean and updated.

Room is very clean and well-maintained but I should’ve slept away from the door because I heard banging from other rooms through the wall. Also, it would’ve been nice if they explained to put your card in for the electricity in the room. Other than that it was a very clean, safe place- the neighborhood is not close to restaurants but close walk to industry city.

Hotel room was comfortable but small. Nice bathroom and had a view. Bed linens looked nice but were very scratchy/bumpy-especially on pillows. Parking our car was confusing and took suite some time for someone to come Take care of it. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff was friendly and professional, forthcoming with dining recommendations and transit directions. They even called me to tell me which side of the street I should be on to enter the Subway... to make certain, I didn't go the wrong way. That's amazing. Complimentary breakfast was protein packed and thoughtfully curated. Coffee was great! Room was clean, water pressure was good, iron & ironing board, hair dryer. Bed was comfy. Granted the room was small, but I was alone and didn't need a big room.

Great customer service, clean rooms and common areas, rooms are small ( which is expected for the area) but are upgraded and well maintained. Windows in the room open which is a bonus for those who like fresh air. Parking is next door, fee was $35 a day for SUV which is reasonable as I have paid $60 a day in Manhattan. Convenient location for a quick ride into the downtown/ more lively section of Brooklyn. Some local Delis and eating options in walking distance I will stay here again.

It was such a pleasnt surprise!!! Sam and his staff were awesome. It was soooo clean there. Staff was very accommodating. I would definitely stay again. This place is a hidden gem in Brooklyn.

The fact that they gave my key card room to someone else and told me that they messed up and they might have taken something out of my room. Thank god they didn’t but the hotel could’ve gave me that night free or something.

Location, is awesome. So much to do in the area! You can take a ride on a bike and enjoy the scenery. The museum is about a little over a mile away. and so many restaurants to choose from it’s overwhelming at times, but I have found my favorites. It was my birthday week. The staff was awesome. Attended to all of my needs. The place is very clean. Breakfast is good. It’s a great spot to chill out to get away for a couple of days. Thank you Liberty View. All the staff was great but one stuck out cause he was ALWAYS there!!!! SHAIK you totally rock!!!! They need to give you a raise!!!!💕💕💕💕

We like to stay here when we come to town to see our son. It is clean and convenient. We stayed 2 nights and were disappointed the cleaning staff did not visit our room despite signaling with the lighted button.

Wasnt told about the $100 hold even though I prepaid for my stay, then parking was terrible. I know it’s a third party but the guy told me it will be $35 if I pick up before 11am at check out, but when I requested my rental, he charged me $50. It was almost like he incorporated a tip. I asked why is it more and he had a weird explanation that my rental is oversized and they add $10 and he couldn’t explain the remaining 5 and didn’t even bother to look into it. He just sat there with his hand out waiting for me to pay…

This was my second time staying at the hotel the first time was fabulous, this time not so great. They first put me in a room that looked like it wasn't finished. Since I stayed there before I knew they had better rooms so I asked to move which they did. Then the 2nd day the hallway reeked of cigarette smoke! Someone had clearly been smoking, when I brought it to the front desk attention they just blew me off. They sprayed febreeze in the hallway and that was it. Then later when we got on the elevator other guests noticed the smell as well. I really think it's easy to find out who is smoking in your "non smoking" hotel but they just seemed like they couldn't be bothered to enforce the rules. I definitely won't be staying here again if they don't see the need to enforce their policy. Such a shame because it could be a great hotel....

The staff was friendly, and the room was clean and quiet. The hotel’s proximity to Manhattan was the main reason we chose it, and it was very convenient. While the neighborhood isn’t the best part of Brooklyn, it felt safe and acceptable. Finding free street parking was a bit challenging but manageable. The breakfast was average, but overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Very good hotel, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately very dirty streets. 5 minutes walk from subway station, 35-45 minutes (subway/uber) from Manhattan. If you have no problem spending time on transport it will be a great option. I recommend.

Room was very nice but felt cramped. Not much space to move around. No chair to sit in except a desk chair. It was also very loud with traffic but that's probably normal for NY. They did move me to quieter room but still loud. Mostly, I did not feel safe in the neighborhood. There is a subway stop about 4 blocks away, but I didn't really feel safe walking back and forth. And there is nothing to look at in the surroundings. The good: breakfast was excellent.

The Hotel is conveniently located close to the 24th street subway station. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. The rooms are comfortable but small. I would recommend this hotel for two people who are looking for a value priced location outside of Manhattan.

The facility and room were very clean and the much-appreciated free breakfast was very nice. If you aren't used to inner city locations, the siting of this hotel can be a little unsettling. It is very urban, surrounded by car repair shops and dirty streets and sidewalks. However, after walking around the neighborhood a couple of times, I realized that if felt safe, and people in the local bodegas were very friendly. The hotel is also right next door to a police station, which undoutbtedly has a tendency to reduce bad behavior. Aside from one very friendly desk staffer, I feel that the staff could really use some service training in order to make this a more welcoming place.

Everything was new. Safe and secure. Front desk people were very nice. Free breakfast was exceptionally good. The rooms are very small but it’s perfect for sleeping. Great beds and pillows. Seemed like a pretty safe neighborhood. The nypd 72nd pct is right next door. We walked about 5 small blocks for dinner and it was good. We will definitely stay here again if in the city.

However, the area around the hotel was not clean. There was trash on the sidewalks and curbs. Again, it's Brooklyn. So, this was not a surprise. The hotel does not have its own parking facility. The parking used by the hotel is a public parking facility, It's right next door, but be aware that it's not part of Liberty View. Save some dollars and park on one of the streets around the hotel. We did and didn't have any issues. Just pay attention to the restricted hours. Breakfast was adequate. It's comparable to the free breakfast at other hotels and hotel chains.

This was a great spot if you are wanting a more local Brooklyn experience. A lot of good restaurants and bars nearby. Also a cool industrial warehouse for food and art. The hotel was quiet and clean and we had no complaints!

This hotel is not lavish or extravagant, but it is very comfortable with friendly, efficient staff who are ready to help. The beds are luxuriously comfortable and bathroom is modern and we'll designed. Everything is beautifully clean. Breakfast was excellent.

Stayed here for 4 days and it was amazing. The menu for breakfast keep changing so we didn’t feel bored, staff were very friendly and easy access to overnight parking. Totally recommend!

My room very nicely designed and very clean. The bed and pillow comfortable. Breakfast was good! NY bagels lol, sausage patties, hard boiled eggs, cereals, pancakes, fresh fruit. A nice boutique hotel to stay on way to cruise ship in Brooklyn. (I only saw a KFC a block away for a takeout dinner, but I brought my own, knowing there wasn’t much around.)

My boyfriend and I had such a great stay at this hotel! There’s a cute little Mexican restaurant in the same street that the hotel has a discount for, and even if you can’t park at the hotel, there’s free parking on 30th street! It was super convenient, there’s a train station on the same street and only one street over, and overall it was quiet. I didn’t expected it to be quiet because the hotel is on a Main Street, but I slept amazing. The staff was all so nice and helped me navigate myself around. I love it! I’ll definitely be looking to book here again!

Great location, clean comfortable rooms(bed is amazingly comfortable with cozy duvet and pillows I slept great! And that’s rare for me in a hotel). Rooms were solid and quiet. I heard no noise or sounds from neighbors. 4 out 5 because the breakfast was really pretty bad even as far as generic, pre-made hotel breakfasts go. However there are many fantastic places to eat within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again and just skip breakfast.

Better quality breakfast and/or more a variety of breakfast food options would be nice. Other than that the stay was great!
