Super cool and modern property, amazing swimming pool and lounge area (plus playroom for the kids) in a high rise and nice part of town. Lovely staff. The only downside is the room said for 4 people but there were three beds- we only needed the room for the day so it wasn’t a big deal but would have been an issue for an overnight

We had a great experience in this property. Very spacious apt, joined rooms making a 2 bedroom apt with everything we needed as a family of tree with teenager. Food in the hotel was very good, rare sometimes in hotels. We used the gym, sauna, steam room, pool, lounge, room service, and everything fantastic. Location also very convenient and safe area. And you have good places to eat around, recommend Luka and Bartels.

Sadly all the outside areas (the swimming pool and rooftop terrace/bar) were closed for our stay no doubt due to earthquake damage. Our bathroom also let in rainwater (again no doubt due to the earthquake). The Ascott offered the pool at the Urbana next door by way of compensation but that hotel is very tired and a little run down. The staff at the Ascott were tremendous, very professional and super helpful. They even allow you to call for pick up from Silom Complex if you’re an ASR member — perfect during the storms and torrential downpours we experienced during our stay.

No upgrade. Sink is broken, take long time to fix. Swimming pool is in maintenance. Renovation is noisy. No compensation for all above issues. Worst hotel among 3 hotels I lived in Bangkok. Room is small and view is bad. Will never go this hotel in future.

Nice new building. 1 bedroom premier room was spacious. Good sized bathtoom. Double sinks would have been nice. Really good water pressure. aircondition and wifi. Washing machine is a lifesaver. Location ok along side very busy road especially in rush hour. Takes time and patience to go with taxi to sukhumvit example. Chong nonsi station BTS 10min by foot. Hotel was full while we were there. Very busy and small lobby. Pool doesn't get sun before afternoon. Construction site next to the hotel and it will be a highrise hotel blocking views and sun even more from the pool. Polite staff. Improvements should be made about cleaning of the rooms. Floors felt that they were not mopped and room cleaning was not thorough. Old stains in the tables etc. They did the absolute minimum even when tipped. They really should reconsider having smoking area right next to the entrance. Residents lounge was totally underwhelming. No food served or cocktails and credit card was bot accepted. Competitive rate and room overall quality and amenities makes me want to come back but there were also negatives so i will see.

This is a top notch hotel, great value and so clean, the staff here is extremely attentive to your need and room service is excellent. We would not hesitate coming back here, and for sure we will return to Bangkok. This is a very comfortable hotel with all the features and amenities.

The housekeeping team at Ascott is superb. Our room was in great condition when we first checked in, and the daily housekeeper assigned to our room (Premier Suite) didn't miss anything during our 4 night stay. We appreciated the cleanliness of every equipment and cutlery within the kitchen cupboards. We are also grateful for the generosity of all the extra amenities we asked for. Probably the best hotel/residence I've ever stayed at in Bangkok. Please keep up the good work! The only negative comment I have is the location of this building in Southern Sathorn rd, where the 2-way traffic is beyond ridiculous at all hours of the day.

What a fabulous hotel!! We booked a two room executive suite for our family of four for the tail end of our Thailand trip and wished we had stayed here in the beginning as well. Modern, clean, beautifully designed, wonderful staff/service, great location, really nice amenities - no complaints! It was such a perfect way to treat ourselves to go home well rested and wind down two busy weeks in pure comfort. The views were also superb. Would definitely stay here if we ever return to Bangkok. Don’t hesitate and book now ☺️

Great hotel in a fairly central location, close to BTS with a handy shuttle service. The hotel was very clean and all staff were very helpful. The rooms we had were great with the best showers. Bangkok has a huge choice of hotels but we would highly recommend this one and we would stay again.

ended our trip with 5 days at rhe ascott embassy and what a pkeasure it was! if youve done SE asia a few times one of the things you start to value above all else is location and dry rooms... not just AC but de hunidified rooms... such a releif after wandering the city all day! hotel is less than 2 years old as of jan 2024... there is conateuction on one side so just ask for a room on yhe opposite side...

I gave it 5 stars cause the hotel staff are amazing, one of the best service I have in the hospitality. All of them are super friendly and kind to talk with. The room is super clean also. Bed sheets and towels are new and clean. You have all the nessesary items you need. The room is spacious including a sofa and coffee table. Only one thing not good, which I have to pick out is my room is on 13 floor and two walls outside my windows, I don’t get good sunshine and view comparing to other room.

This place would be better if they had better staff. Reception was so rude to me that made my check in experience horrible! The location is awful, 30 minutes away from the Temples and activities in town, $15 usd by Grab. It's not walkable and very dirty and dangerous. The room was cleaned! Because of the staff, I would not stay there again!

I Had really wonderful and amazing review about this hotel But at the time of checking out all of it was ruined The employee at the front desk in the time of checking in took 3000 BHT deposit from me and her name was MINT I don't know why she took a deposit and give me a small paper that somehow I don't know where it was And when I told the other team in the front desk all of sudden they say that they don't have a copy of it like I am a liar though this would be a 5 star hotel but it looks like alll the other hotels with scams I paid more to this hotel to avoid these kind of things because I have heard about it in Bangkok a lot I thought it will be a hotel that I would come to it every time I will be coming to Bangkok but unfortunately with this kind of behavior it's unacceptable from a hotel like this👎👎👎👎

The staffs is wonderful and super friendly. I had to book extra night so I can have a 10 pm check out because of my departure flight. The night duty manager was super accommodating by extending my current rate rather than the going rate.

We stayed at the Ascott for just under a week. What an absolutely unforgettable experience! Wonderful staff, polite, friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. As an example, we didn't realise that we needed to prebook the free shuttle to Icon Siam shopping centre so there was no space on the shuttle when we got downstairs. The staff apologised and then arranged a taxi for us, free of charge! When we had to leave very early in the morning for an excursion, the staff provided beautifully packed breakfast bags for us to eat on the way. Our apartment was big, with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine. Always clean. The hotel is close to Silom centre, lots of places to eat (street food galore!), and a couple of train stations, so very convenient. Thank you to the staff for making our first visit to Thailand so wonderful!

I’ve stayed here several times and really enjoy it. However, I was a bit disappointed to learn that late check-out isn’t allowed if the booking is made through Expedia or other third-party sites—it’s only available when booking directly through their website. When I checked in, I requested a late check-out and was told it was only available for ASR members. So, I registered and became a member. Despite this, on the day of check-out, I received a call from reception informing me that late check-out is only granted to those who book through the hotel’s own website, not through third-party platforms. She did allow it this time as an exception, but made it clear it wouldn’t be permitted in the future.

It was a nice hotel / service apartment in a decent area, with lots of lovely restaurants (both high-end and very local ones) within 5mins of walking. The room is big and clean, and the staff are friendly. It is not near the BTS station, around 15mins walk away but the hotel offered free shuttle so that’s ok!

The hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are very spacious and very nice decorated, but the service can be improved. When we arrived the beds for both of our kids were not prepared. The extra bed was not there and due so one of them had to sleep between us. When you want to order a drink or something to eat at the poolbar you have to pay the food and the drinks separately. This is very uncommon for a 5* hotel. In some elevators the airco doesn’t work properly and can be improved. The shuttle service took a different ride and longer route to the airport due the traffic at that moment of time but I think it was also to avoid highway toll. Again not very 5*

We loved our stay at the Ascott. All the staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed in the premier apartment which was very comfortable, clean and modern. The breakfast was good, however some of the food wasn’t hot and the selection could have been better.

Overall stay was good considering the earthquake happened. The service was great the host showed me the room and any damages before I booked. Breakfast was poor. Food was cold. Not many options for anyone with gluten allergy. Not good compared to other hotels in the other area

No Hot Water- in the shower in 4 different rooms for 20 days. The staff sent engineering who kept repeating that I have to let the water run for at least 20 minutes. No hot water, even when I did. The only time it worked was when the manager and I went up to one room, that I had already run the water in with no results, but it magically worked in the first minute. A day later, it didn’t. I would have been so embarrassed if I were them, but it seemed normal to them. Not “Green”- 20 minutes, in 200 rooms, let’s say 1 person in each, is 4000 minutes of wasted water a day. That’s about 65 hours of water wasted every day. Not sure how that’s “green”. “Upgrade” because of Platinum status was a pain - Also, for some reason the Orbitz upgrade for platinum status was a very precious thing. For the first week, I paid for it (which means upgrade was available). For the second and third, I kept bouncing between downgrade and upgrade, but at that point my priority was a room with hot water. No Food or Room Service in Hotel - Except breakfast, no restaurants in hotel. Breakfast, which I paid for separately, was average. “Do Not Disturb” Means Nothing - I work NY and European hours. If I turned on the do not disturb, they would just call me a few times while I was sleeping. Once I woke up to a security guy in my room. Pros- - housekeeping staff was phenomenal. - huge rooms. - non front desk staff were polite. - decent location

Last night in Bangkok on a family vacation. We picked the hotel as they advertised a restaurant. Upon arrival told that there isn’t a restaurant open but we can order in food. Not the nicest way to wrap up a holiday, eating takeaway food in your hotel room with inadequate table and chairs, cutlery etc. The grab app that reception recommended was frustrating to download and the meal I ordered gave he horrific food poisoning. I was sick the whole flight home the next day. Not something that would have happened if we’d been in a restaurant. Note we were travelling with a small baby hence easier to dine in the hotel - but also there are no food venues within walking distance of the hotel.
