Overall it was an okay stay. Unfortunately there wasn’t a full gym available due to remolding. When I went into my room I had found red and white confetti on the couch, room was decently cleaned. Breakfast was okay eggs and potatoes were cold. The staff was friendly and polite. 6/10

People bring pets on vacay and their fleas get left behind. I was bitten all night. The hotel is not equipped to clean thoroughly after pets. Please board your pets. Hotel stuff you need to getbetter vacuums

Greetings, I am quite disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. There are dusty lamps, a dirty coffee maker and toaster, a dirty paper towel, stained bath towels, and hair in the bathtub, among other issues. It's my birthday and my first time staying at your hotel, and I am not happy with the quality, especially considering what I paid. I addressed the issues with the night manager, but he was typing something while talking to me and seemed not really focused/sincere (not showing full attention). Sincerely, Cristy

Our room was clean, had everything we needed. We were extremely satisfied with our stay. Our shower has shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Sheets were crispy clean and white, all this is appreciated.

Everything was excellent from valet to checking in to convenience of location to crypto arena. When we had came Back from the laker game my son was suppose to sleep on the pull out sofa. That’s when we discovered food still in the couch and mattress. Sausage peanut shells. We felt that the place wasn’t cleaned after that. Staff was friendly when I told them the next morning and showed Them pictures and I did compensated on my Marriot account.

Building/our room is somewhat getting old & in need of renos. There were 2 small holes in the wall of our room. Carpet to concrete floor transition is starting to peel. The bed couch seat had a dark stain.Kitchen faucet & tissue box needed proper wiping..

The room was smaller than we thought and no big window. The picture weren't accurate and we didn't like the sliding door for the toilet. The wardrobe wasn't next to the entrance and very small in between the bathroom and the bed. Couldn't hang a dress properly because the pole is half way. To iron, it was very difficult as well, small ironing board and didn't know where to plug the iron. The couch and the bed was comfortable (bed a bit too soft, but not the worse). The shower wasn't easy to use, couldn't use the usual faucet, only the removable shower head or the fixed one (two different valves). The hot water was another problem to adjust. We got a problem with the payment as well, no tap, no cash and only physical card. Our room was locked because of that and it happened twice before doing one transaction. The pool was hot. The Residence Inn LA Live has such great proximity to all the best entertainment. We walked to the Peacock Theater. Walked to Pannini Grill about 9 minutes, in the day time. Breakfast was well stocked, ample room to sit. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The room was clean, the kitchen was great, we cooked one meal, and enough room to sit and be comfortable for a family of 4. Tons of outlets in the room to charge phones and laptops. Booking through hotels.com was seamless, we received multiple emails in regards to our stay and checked in 12 hours prior, from home! When we got here the check in process took about 5 minutes and we were off to our room! Will stay again and highly recommend.

Internet was not working in our room during our stay, we had to use public internet in a lobby. The sliding door to our bathroom was not sliding properly, we had to ask each other to close the bathroom door from outside not to hurt ourselves. We out a maintenance request that was fixed a couple hours before our departure despite numerous follow up inquires with the reception staff. The valet parking is definitely overpriced. The breakfast buffet was bare minimum and was not replenished as needed. Unfortunatley, the hotel did not meet our expecatations.

A notable example of staff performance is that within 10 minutes of our call to the front desk, a technician came to our room and resolved a WIFI access problem. I booked the residence inn after the airbnb I booked had someone sleeping in the bed. I arrived at the residence inn at 11pm and was told they were "oversold" and did not have a room for me. They booked me into the courtyard at the same property but i had booked the residence inn because it had a kitchen which i needed for my work trip. Hotels.com told me to talk to the hotel in the morning to sort out the situation but the staff has not yet been able to dicount the rate or do anything other than return my valet fee and not make me pay the "resort fee" which of course I wasnt even in the room long enough to use any of those services. The front desk staff when i checked in told me I could still take advantage of the residence in breakfast but when i took my key to be let in the staff member was incredibly rude and told me that because i was "courtyard" i couldnt come in. Just a terrible night all around.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location, excellent hotel, warm and accommodating staff. It was superb! The hotel was very well appointed, comfy rooms, and thoughtful design for a family staying together. Our flight landed extremely early, and we were shocked and pleasantly surprised being welcome for early check-in, breakfast, and the most hospitable, professional staff.

As a frequent traveler , ive stayed in alot of hotels, primarily with my husband and daughter This trip i was without my husband but with 4 girls who were attending a concert at BMO Stadium. A little nervice to be in DTLA, but as a Cali you know pretty much know what to exoect in that area. From the minute we pulled in to Valet, we were met with impeccable customer service. They assured us that the Uber pick up was right there and there would be security Check in was great and quick. They have a small area with drinks and snacks for sale. Water was 5.00 a bottle. They charge a 30.00 destination fee which 15.00 if that was a credit used towards the wine bar / drinks if you chose The room!!! My gosh it was huge We had a huge living room with a pull out double sifa

at 4:00am a loud noise woke us, we were not able to rest at all, the next day we were restless, very tired, and sleepy. I have a video recording of the noise to show the managers. I reported it to the front desk and offered them to listen to the video but the two people attending the front desk were not interested. One of them said he could only discount the Valet parking which I feel is like a slap on the face. I am terribly disappointed :(

Convenient location with excellent dining options and a short walk away from LA Live, Peacock Theater and Crypto.com Arena. Fantastic service. Valet is nice because it kept my car safe, and it was quick and easy to retrieve my car. Also has a great view of downtown!

The hotel is very convenient where there is walking distance to restaurants, sports bar in the LA Live area. Very close to crypto arena and convention center. Hotel has free breakfast. But same choice everyday. The only concern is the parking is only valet park tax for the hotel, unless you want to find the public parking & walk. The hotel offer destination fee where you can get food up to $30 2 free drinks per day from the bistro. Unfortunately, the bistro ran out of the food/snacks one hours before it is closed. We ended up having to grab cokes and energy drink to use up the destination fee.

This is a beautiful hotel and everything about the property itself was great. Breakfast was better than most that are included with a hotel stay and the breakfast lounge had plenty of tables and staff cleaning up quickly.

The room was spacious and great for our family to sleep and get to a basketball game at Crypto arena was super close and convenient. The pool area was so dark at night wish they had some mood lighting and maybe some outdoor heating lamps and music. The breakfast food was pretty bad. Watered down coffee, barely warm hot items and cheapest tasting bread for toast - the oatmeal was good with a variety of toppings. The shower door in our suitte wouldn't stay shut it kept sliding open. Staff were super friendly and helpful with alternative parking options nearby.
